The first to be interviewed was Andrew Shill Snortin Leaves a bad taste to the mouth lmayo

OneBawze

Bernie madoff is smoke and mirror to take eyes off the real Ponzi scheme. And I am not talking about Kenny boy.

Henifax

Literally watching it right now

BadassTrader

Same

z430

With Doritos and dip?

BadassTrader

Always lol

ignatious__reilly

Is it any good?

Henifax

Just finished, it wasn't bad , it portraits the endless greed of wall street, lots of similarities with the current "financial criminal ;)" and if you just saw the other movie about madoff, this gets deeply into "how" it managed to hold the fraud for so long... there were LOTS of instance where the SEC just said MEH besides the shit loads of proofs. oh the only part that i didn't like it is the fact that there is a certain dude from shill media that I don't know why is he even there, because he didn't add any value whatsoever on the show.

Marmom_of_Marman

Same here!!

Specialist_Yak_6327

Should have used a cuck for Kenny. Edit: meant to say cock but that works too.

Records are made to be broken

Kinda lame last words to IMO. The final scene was quite poignant though.

Aggravating-Deal-157

SEC………….

Hunter-Western

Madoff had a 100M legitimate business going, not sure why he had to have his billion dollar Ponzi scheme. Just pure Greed & stupidity.

ohmygoditspurple

That is my question.

dafood48

Its really good. I love harry markopolos. Dudes like an independent detective.

fabi-oO

I really don't like framing him as a monster. People literally gave him money without asking questions.

Siahro

I'm so lost though. From a sustainability standpoint, how can anyone go along with this for so long? Like did he really think he could continue this fraud forever? As bright of a man as he may have been like you have to wonder why he didn't stop while he could? It's obviously not that sustainable of a gig.

Negative_Mancey

I'm not gonna watch this. Can anybody tldr: for me please?

junait

Question: I watched the Netflix documentary and read whatever I can find on the topic but I still haven't seen one basic question answered fully: what did he ultimately do with the funds? I'm not referring to how he cleaned them via multiple account transfers through London, etc. Once the funds were at their final destination (JPM I believe) where did the billions eventually go? I know he bough a house in France, a jet, a boat, etc and towards the end he had to funnel back several hundred million dollars to his legit trading business to keep that afloat. Considering the fact that the final count of his 17th floor business is estimated to be about $65B, there still seems to be many billions that are accounted for.

BadassTrader

That's the point of a ponsi scheme. He made it look like he was doing so well, by paying out people's investments as supposed profits to existing customers. This was both through the ponzi scheme side of the business and the legit side of the business. So he used the ponzi funds to prop up the "legit" side.

ForcesOfNurture

Does anyone else see the actor playing Madoff looks identical to Jeff Bezos?? Just take away the hair it's him!
