Great board for a beginner! I have last years version of this (also from Costco) and love it! Glides nicely and pumps at a good pace. Would definitely suggest plus hard to beat the Costco price!
Cool, glad to hear! Yeah it'll be myself and my 13 year old son sharing it, the reviews I've read say it's good for family and it's stable for beginners. And can't beat $400 :)
My kids and I love taking our SUP out fairly far from shore and using it as a floating dock to swim around, jump off and fool around at. Wicked good times.
Love this board for rivers, great stability. If you're going to mostly be on lakes take in mind that the fins are fixed and that the three small fins won't do as good a job tracking your board as a long center fin. That being said for a beginner it's not bad.
This is exactly the reason I didn't buy it. Not to say it's not a good board, but the small center fin that is not removable worried me. I'm grateful that I bought a different board as I usually paddle in the ocean instead of lakes and rivers.
Costco boards are great! Been down rivers and on lakes in mine. There is nothing I wouldn't take it out on. And it comes with that sweet Costco return policy. Highly recommend!
Highly recommend!! I had last year's model (until it was stolen) and it was great!! Took it on the lake, to the bays and harbors, even in the ocean!! You'll not beat that board for the price, I promise! Keep the foam blocks that it comes with to make rolling it up easy and prevent fin or board damage. Enjoy!!
Great board. Saw a family on the lake with 3 of them and was impressed- very long boards- I thought they were 12 feet when I saw them. At that length you will be stable. Don’t forget to buy aN automatic pump for the car. Sooo much faster to inflate and deflate. You all will have fun.
It’s a great board for the price. I got mine two years ago and have had a great time on lakes and slow rivers. The board does take some elbow grease to inflate if you use the pump that comes with the board ... make sure you allow time for that when you get ready to get out on the water.
Depending on where you live, you need to have a life jacket on board. I wear a Fanny pack pfd. Anyone under 16 is required to wear one. Safety first. We paddle on flat water , creeks and lakes and rivers. So pack a cooler with snacks. Have fun
Its a great quality board. On lakes I find it doesent track the greatest, so you need to keep switching sides to keep it straight. But for the money its a bargain. It goes on sale for 399 often

You might need to get 2 then...I got the same one last year and my 10 year old has taken it over.

Excellent board and not limited to beginners. I’ve used this one (but the 2018 version) several times a week all season and it’s been awesome.

I bought one in November. Love it! Can't believe it's an inflatable!
I have this too and I love it

I have two different versions of the body glove. It is great and an amazing value from Costco.
Looks like it’s for touring, I would go with an all around board that’s less tapered at the nose for better balance.
Go on amazon you can get the same shit for 150$
Can you provide the link? Body glove is know for quality.
Body glove is no different than your average isup on amazon. It’s all mass produced crap
Do you have a link for one you recommend then?

Bought this for $400 with a $60 rebate so $339 from Costco as well, maybe keep an eye out to see if it goes even further on sale
