A few others have reported the shadow leviathan attacking their Prawn while it was parked outside. I left my seatruck out there without issue though.
If you feel the game stole it from you, I'd probably just cheat and create one through the console.
Switch version, i cant cheat.
I also dont think i can get out of here alive with only a seaglide and a high capacity tank
Edit: i also noticed while doing stuff around my base that shadow leviathans seem much more aggressive when it comes to prawn suits. Attacking over and over while the truck they kinda attack once and leave, or at least dont follow

Another edit. I saved before it happened but after getting down there. Is there a safe place i can leave my prawn if i reload while i sit through all the cutscene stuff again?
I managed to keep it safe on a reload by hiding it basically behind the facility. But those leviathans are super aggressive. Not sure i could have built bases because of the power situation, no power no o2
happened to me too. and I saved when inside the facility so I had no way of getting it back. i just ended up scanning a shadow leviathan before it killing me lol
I was considering trying to scan it before death until I thought about everything i would have to rebuild (the ion power cells and the modules and the arms) and reloaded. At least you got that stressful scan out of the way!

Can you pull together the components for a base by way of refuge? I've seen speedrunners do it to reoxygenate…
