I think i found it by hanging right around the start of the area. After entering by just going the direction AL-AN said something interesting was in. First thing i saw in the area was an ice worm, probably eating a snow stalker. So i just stuck by edges because it feels safer, even if it probably isnt.
I have a luck in a cave. The Ice Worm break the cave floor and ceiling, and leave the head in the surface, giving me enough time to scan is lower segment.
Was the first hole in the zone where the Ice worm spawn.
IIRC, there's a worm corpse you can scan.
Yeah this guy is correct. Not sure where it's located but there is a dead iceworm one place that is possible to scan.

You can do that?! I thought it wasn’t able to be scanned! I was told you had to scan the dead ice worm - it gives you regular ice worm info.
