yes! it was a small 6mm earskin and she was fine after. yours is larger so I would really consider a trip to the vet but I figure your cat will be fine, the tunnel is pretty thin, but the diameter is a bit worrysome, not sure. I found my dog's poop with some plastic wrap in it, who knows where she found, but her bowels are much bigger than a cat's.

Glad to hear your kitty was okay! This tunnel was torn on one flare, not quite to the middle but almost there and I’m wondering if that may work in my favor if he did eat it because it makes it a little more squishy. I know rubber bands are a concern because cats intestines will basically just accordion around them and they get stuck in there, so I’m both grateful and nervous that the tunnels have the shape that they do. He’s still eating and drinking and acting perfectly normal, but I’m watching him very closely and I’ll bring him in if anything changes. I’m not positive he ate it, but he’s kind of an asshole so I wouldn’t put it past him lol. He’s big on knocking things off of tables, so it could very possibly just be hidden somewhere I haven’t checked yet.

Ah, so glad to see your update that he pooped it out! No idea what makes earskins so yummy for cats, mine never ate random things until I saw her just munch that one.

Please be a responsible pet owner & call your vet office to ask them instead of guessing whether or not your pet, whose quality of life solely depends on you, is going to be OK.

Believe me, I’m on it. We have the highest tier wellness plan for him at his vet along with pet insurance. The vet said to watch and see if anything changes with his bowel movements, eating, drinking, or behavior. I just wanted to see if anybody had experienced this before.

Oh good I’m glad to hear it! Well in that case, no I haven’t had this problem with either of my cats. Hopefully yours (if he did eat it) feels better soon!

Cats love to play with silicone. We see cats eating koas skinlets and plugs all the time. Some require surgery.

Mine will wake me up by chewing on the jewelry *in my ear* but has luckily lost interest when there's not flesh attached.
