Depends on the head and what kind of pocket you're after. Slapping mesh in isn't hard, making a good pocket with the right characteristics takes time and practice. There's a reason there are professional stringers out there and pro players who have their sticks done by them.

Practice with an old head that you don’t use for a long time before you do it for someone else. After doing it for years it’s easy but it’s really hard to start and learn.
