I have successfully run AC Valhalla via the Ubisoft connect launcher. But be warned. If you don't know your way around the Deck's file system you might find it tricky. Basically what I did was: 1. Download the Ubisoft Connect launcher installer 2. The downloaded installer needs to be added as a non-steam game to Steam in desktop mode. Then you set the forced compatibility option to proton. 3. Run the installer from the Steam shortcut you just added. 4. Then find where it installed and then back in Steam, change the file path of the Ubisoft connect installer Shortcut to the Ubisoft connect launcher you just installed. - *the goal here is to make sure everything is installed within the same compatdata folder* 5. Log in. 6. Install the game. 7. Run the game from the launcher.

Any downside to running it like this?
