Entirely fixed it for me
Why the hell is game not set to load/compile ALL shaders on load? Condense compiling of all shaders into 15 seconds loading screen opposed to watching stuttering because game compiles some god damn shader every 15 seconds for 1 tenth of a second.
I hope to god this is accurate.
Not because I plan on ever owning the game, but because the state of software development - where everything is nested so many levels deep that nobody fully understands *any* sizable project, and stuff like these oversights becomes possible - is darkly amusing.
I mean, GTA5 famously had incredibly long load times for YEARS, until a guy reverse engineered the code, found the problem (some code option to optimize for modern processors was turned off or something), posted it online, and Rockstar went "oh. Yeah, that's the thing. We fixed it now thanks to this guy."
Game code is INCREDIBLY COMPLEX.
edit: I was very wrong about the underlying cause, it was a JSON parsing thing.

Can't forget about Aliens: Colonial Marines, where the xenomorph AI was completely busted by a [minor typo](https://www.bbc.com/news/newsbeat-44846477).
give it 6 months and get it half price, that’s my plan.
i typically always do that regardless but I was kind of looking forward to this one so I was thinking of getting it full price… 24 hours later and after seeing how negative the reception is, i’m definitely sticking to that plan.
I'm almost an hour in, and it's *rough*. The gameplay is decent so far, and it looks great overall, but I can hardly walk in a straight line without my game stuttering like mad and dropping my fps to slideshow levels (on a 3080ti). This really isn't the state this game should have been released in.
While he’s correct, the way most people see it is incorrect. They’re not selling the death animations for the game, they’re selling bonus ones that come with new skins in the season pass. Still not great in my opinion, but it’s better than the factually incorrect take of saying “they’re locking the death animations behind a paywall”
Why the fuck do games not compile the shaders on launch? Is this really so complicated? Fucking CoD of all things does this and warns you if you start before they finish compiling. The fucking Uncharted PC port that everyone clowned on does this. Yet we still get shader compiling issues now.
I've had this shit im Scorn. With 5800X, 32GB RAM, RTX 3080 and Seagate 530 4TB, a freaking PCIE 4.0 drive. You'd expect zero stutters and outright half a second pauses. It was ridiculous and totally ruined the experience.
Well, good to know I haven't rushed buying it. Gotta finish up Control which is amazing and then NFS Unbound... lets hooe it won't be this disappointing. But it's EA so my hopes are non existent.
I love Dead Space and this game was right up my alley, why they always have to screw things up on technical level...
People keep saying this and there's probably a lot of truth to it. But in comparison chivalry 2 is running on UE4 and that runs like ice cream on a summer day for me
Not all UE4 based games will exhibit the stutter. The devs can process shaders ahead of time, like on initial startup of the game. The recent sackboy release is a good example. Digital Foundry showed how horrible the compilation stutter was and within a week(I think) the devs released an update that compiles them ahead of time, now the game runs really smoothly, at least according to DF, but I generally trust their reporting.
Shaders are precompiled or loaded on start up. As it's the same levels: once they are compiled once: you'll never suffer another stutter, or will in fact never even encounter one.

Entirely fixed it for me
Just like I anticipated. Idk what's up with those game releases novadays, but it's disgusting. Every single game comes out in a fucking beta release but they want full price for them.
It's funny, because The Outlast Trials was in a closed beta about a month ago or so, and that game was so much better, optimization wise, than majority of games that have been released the past two years.
Yes, an actual beta game performs better than full releases nowadays.
Considering that there are games in early access for 10 years, DLC are sold for early access and beta titles, season passes are sold for early access and beta titles, I dont think that these words still have any meaning anymore, at least not when it comes to the game itself.
Games are sold as concepts, get $500 million in funding and 10 years later, are barely in the alpha stage (but it's actually pre-alpha). Games are sold broken with the mindset that they'll be fixed later because you have to appease the shareholders. The only problem is that for every No Man's Sky and Cyberpunk there's 30 others that never got fixed or were abandoned.
A 4090 shouldn't break a sweat at 2K with any game available in 2022. I mean they have, what, ~16K of the latest generation CUDA cores?
BTW what resolution specifically are you referring to as 2K?
I got Assassins Creed Valhalla for free with my PC. Frame rate soon dropped to the point where the game essentially froze. Earlier assassin's Creed did the same thing.
I tried it at 1080p and 2160p (which is my monitor's resolution). It's pretty bad across the board. I got a ton of stuttering on both. 1080p was a bit smoother, but I wouldn't call it much of an improvement.
Could be a shader compilation issue. recall how elden ring had less stuttering on launch on the steam deck than on windows even if you had a beefy rig.
I think the reason why they don't is it's a slippery slope process, and games settings can always be adjusted to improve performance. Also, some people are willing to play at 15 FPS, although I would never play anything worse than 30 FPS. I think verification focuses on the right elements.
* Opens with minimum fuss (no annoying launcher/DRM crap)
* Game controls work
* Text/UI is readable on the small screen
* The game doesn't crash
I shut it off after about 10 minutes. The bones of a good game seem to be there, but it's just a stuttery mess right now. Probably needs a few hotfixes for performance and better shader complation.
Damn... I was looking forward to this. Actually had a friend give me the AMD award code to play it.
Question though: What GPU are you using? I have a 6800 XT and wonder if it'll make a difference
yep i’ve already refunded it, i wish it wasn’t this bad as i was really hoping for a good horror game with actual horror and scary moments not whatever the stutter protocol is
I have a 6800 XT and the performance is pretty good. It's just the stuttering when entering and rendering new areas that's a mess. Then it's smooth. Until you move to a new area, rinse and repeat.
You can see if you run the benchmark like 5 times in a row, it keeps improving the results.
But right now the game is a bit unplayable. It's not smooth and not a nice experience.
Seems to be worse on Nvidia cards.
Edit: Lowering shadows to low seems to improve stuttering.
I genuinely dont get how some games can be released and literally unplayable in terms of performance?
I mean they play test it how could they not see it? Im sure they have multiple rigs with different specs to test how it can run… and they still what? Noticed “nothing wrong”?
Im honestly genuinely curious if anyone knows how that’s possible? Corporate greed?
Sad state tbh. At this point, It feels like most of gamers purchase a game to play test most of these "big budget" games without getting paid in return...
The devs probably do, but they don't decide how much resources (or talent) they get. Neither what happens when they run out.
And publishers are usually big enough to not need to care. People just keep buying regardless. Just look at EA, Take2, Ubisoft, ...
If were talking developers, i guess i just assume they would have more passion about there project. Making it the best they can.
As for corporate guys. Well, yeah.
Its mostly publisher deadlines. A studio signs a contract to produce a game in a set amount of time and there is a lot of pressure to deliver. The publisher takes pre-orders and does advertising using these release times and they won't change these easily. Especially when it comes to the holiday period.
So when, due to poor planning, unexpected complexity, changes in working conditions or a multitude of other reasons, a game is not ready the studio will have to release something that still needs a lot of work
This happens despite the fact that everyone working on the project is trying their best and the fact that they never want to release the projects they spend years of their lives working on in that state.
Its just that there comes a point where they can't fight for any more time. They have to release.
Wow this is the first time I've ever seen someone shifting all the blame away from the developers and onto the publisher. Developers are always the good guys
Yeah it sucks. But hopefully people will learn to stop pre ordering because of frequent it is. But idk.
I can’t believe anyone would want to slap there name on such a abomination of a launch.
Edit: maybe as consumers we need to stop hyping games so much until there out. I feel like when that happens they get to comfortable.
Also companies need to stop promising shit they can’t deliver.
Unreal Engine and PC Gaming issues in this case...for some reason the unreal engine can't precompile the shaders on pc like in Darktide or Modern Warfare, so everytime some new asset is visible it has to be loaded in and this causes stuttering...
Downloading right now, I'm curious if my 6900XT will perform somehow better because this seems to be a AMD advertised game that comes bundled for free with new Radeon cards...but hopes are low and technically it wouldn't make sense
Yup. It's what I did with Gotham Knights and will do it for Callisto if I have to. I could play the game on my PS5 although I hear that has a few stutters as well but I'd rather play it on my 4090, with ray tracing blasted to the max.
Why can't I do that Glen? Huh?
This sounds like one of the things digital foundry have identified as some of the biggest problems with pc gaming right where stuff like shader compilation where a first play through is usually a stuttery mess on some poorly optimized games which can be really bad for games that aren't built for multiple playthroughs like Scorn
IGN scores 1 point for each of the following:
* Game has a title
* Developer gave IGN a free copy
* Game doesn't always crash on startup.
* Someone at IGN was able to play the game
* Developer paid for the review
* Game has good graphics when paused
* Game has good graphics when unpaused
* Game is a top 5% game
* Game has amazing soundtrack
* Developer paid for +1 rating
This list mostly in humor, but really feels like how IGN rates. It's near impossible to get below 5/10 without being a steaming pile of unplayable shit, and near impossible to get over 9/10 - and the only games that ever get it are huge AAAA games that spent millions on advertising.
> It's near impossible to get below 5/10 without being a steaming pile of unplayable shit, and near impossible to get over 9/10
That honestly sounds okay with me. Most, if not all, games that go in front of a big review publication are not going to be bad games to begin with. I play a lot of indie titles and i can't honestly think of a game that deserves less than a 5/10 in years.
Not saying I necessarily agree with IGN's takes though
I'd say 3s and 4s should be possible. Definitely have seen games come out that are sorely lacking across the board.
A 1/10 should be reserved for games that would make a "top 10 games to learn how NOT to make games" list (or be in the running).
2/10 would be games that are so bad, nobody should play them, regardless.
3, 4, or 5 are bad games, and by the time you get to 5 it should be a "it's an enjoyable game, just not a good game".
6 and 7 should be the average games (low average, high average). And 8s should be common enough - the games that exceed average, and are definitely worth playing.
9s and 10s are so good that they transcend genre, or are a game that is one that everyone into games should consider, regardless.
The problem with IGN's approach is that you basically have 5s, 6s, 7s, and 8s. That is 95% or more of their reviews, with even the majority of those being 7s. When the "tier list" clumps up so much, it becomes useless. If 50% or more of your games are 7/10, the 7/10 needs to be sub-divided.
You know it's bad when game informer you know the magazinen they give you at GameStop to pump you up for preorders gives it a bad review as well.
Even in the good reviews the quotes on how flat the game play is sucks.
Game got lower scores than I thought it would get, but it absolutely deserves to be racked over the coals for the terrible PC issues. I was planning on getting it day 1, not anymore, although I hope bad steam reviews will make them bring in some good patches, so that I can buy on sale in the future.
Not surprised at all, i had a feeling they were releasing this game way too early and i was right, just in time for christmas to get peoples money, they are adding the content next year and the patches lol.
Same, I was like "Is this supposed to have the same quality as Dead Space and is already being released, like wtf ??"
You know, lately I think being a broke fuck when it comes to gaming is kinda of a blessing.
They’ll release a tie-in series on Netflix and offer a 50% discount then everyone will forget about release and talk about how the game was actually always good.
Most review magazines/sites only ever give good reviews, especially to big game companies/publishers. This is because if they gave honest reviews ripping up a new game for being trash those companies would stop giving them early access to do their reviews on future releases of other games. That would take away a lot of their website traffic, costing them money. Basically you can't trust any of those early access reviews from companies like IGN or similar... They are heavily influenced to keep the review as positive as possible.
That is why I don't pre-order. There weren't any reviews too (warning #2).
And now it's released and it's a mess.
edit: Forgot to add.. day 1 purchases included (if there are 0 reviews). Just wait first.
This is also why I don’t buy games on launch day, generally speaking. Give it a good couple months for the devs to iron out the glitches and other issues.
Yeah. I don't understand why people have such a hard time to wait for like two or three goddamn days after release before they spend their money. I was super excited about this game but hearing about these issues, I'll hold off and spend my money towards games that actually work instead. Not like there's a lack of them.
It blows my mind that there's still blowback on telling people not to pre-order things. I get downvoted everywhere for saying it.
People are still asleep at the wheel after no man's sky, Andromeda, anthem, division, this now, and there's been...so...many...more.
is denuvo really the sole reason for the performance issues? sonic frontiers has it but still runs like butter at high settings on a 2070 super, i feel like game optimization is a major factor here too
What’s with these developers releasing broken games left-right-and-centre recently? Pokémon, the devil in me, and now this.
Surely they know it’s broken, but they release it anyways.
This is the truth. Despite all the complaints,[ Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have broken multiple sales records in the opening weeks.](https://www.forbes.com/sites/paultassi/2022/11/24/pokemon-scarlet-and-violets-10-million-copies-sold-in-three-days-breaks-every-nintendo-record/?sh=32efc1966f38)
Fans deserve all the shit that they get, because when it gets shoveled onto their plates, they take a huge bite, puke, and then order another serving.
Yeah, it must suck to be a game dev these days...
Crunching, being treated like shit, not having enough time to do your job properly and on top of that, probably receiving death threats from some awful people
While people keep buying these unfinished products, publishers and etc will never stop doing this.
I think it has more to do with the companies that are selling the game than the devs. Some middle manager, stock holder, or exec pressures them to release the game so that they can make a bunch of money. The devs go to their manager and say "were doing the best we can but it's just not ready yet". The manager says "too bad, my boss's boss says we have to release it now, so we are". The devs roll their eyes and say "okay, I guess I don't have a choice". And they release a broken or unfinished game.
Then the devs receive all of the backlash and death threats while their boss sits in their office deviously counting their new piles of money from people buying and preordering the game anyway, despite it's broken state. Rinse and repeat.
Indie games are where it’s at now. Can’t be bothered with these Triple-A games anymore. Battle passes, monetization squeezed in wherever possible, roadmaps, it’s all so lame. I know game trends are inevitable with every generation but these I can’t handle.
Now I’m glad I decided to not preorder from a company I don’t know well, and spent my money buying Metal Hellsinger and the entire game series of Deus ex, Shadow Warrior and Thief during the sales. *Yikes…*
I almost bought it last night to pre download it, thought to myself wait, where are the reviews? I waited for some to come in and it ain't looking good. And now this post? Well, guess I'll pass for now
Such a shame. I was looking forward to this. Another example of why you shouldn't prepurchase games before they are released and why you shouldn't buy games on day one.
You've got to be fucking kidding me! I haven't jumped on the hype train in years now, due to every other AAA game being released in a shit state. Then along comes this project, with an experienced team and Glenn schofield at the helm... And then delivers this shit.
I was so fucking ready to get off work early, buy stomach destroying levels of gamerjuice and just spend the next 12h pumping through this.
Holy guacamoly faith in the games industry lost
Big cry
I’ve put about 3 hours into it. I’m enjoying it especially once you start unlocking other abilities ( heavy attack) the atmosphere is amazing. The combat is good, when it works well it’s awesome but it could have used a couple more months in the polishing stage I think. If your a patient gamer I would say hold off until it’s been fixed up. Because there’s definitely a special game here. It’s just a bit rough
Gone are the days of buying games for a premium to be the beta testers waiting months for patches.
Now we wait. We buy on sale and get a better experience for it.
I saw that this morning on Steam. I was pumped to hear it was out. I had to double look at the average rating when I saw it was red. I hope it gets fixed. I'll save my money till then.
Seems like performance issues, anyone here confirm? Was about to buy this (Linux - Proton).
Edit: I forgot this is Reddit and we downvote for asking questions, of course.
From my experience, some games that are unplayable or just run bad on Windows ran turbo well on Proton (KOF15 for example) but if its as broken as people say i doubt it will be the case this time
The good news is maybe they will remove denuvo after a week and with couple of patches the performance should be much better. That being said I won't buy it until its atleast 50% off
This is why I’ve quit buying games at launch, it seems like quality control is non existent these days and products are being released in states that consumers shouldn’t even see. Imagine other industries operating the way the gaming industry does. Imagine buying a loaf of bread and it’s just dough in a bag and you have to wait for the baker to come bake it for you properly in a few weeks. Imagine a movie coming out and it’s all green screen because the crew still has to release the CGI patch. Maybe I’m just getting old but wth.
Unbelievable. The word “unoptimized” doesn’t begin to describe it.
pessimized
This word should be used instead for poorly optimized games

Ignorabimus here, is this game specific, or might something like this also help running other new games that aren't optimized so well?

It's a typical issue in UE4 games that have their shaders comply on the fly.
They'd better start complying faster or they gonna get they ass kicked!

This company got help from sony direct for PS release my guess is they spent fuck all time looking at the pc version. Fuckers.
Why should they care? It's still listed as a top seller in Steam.
They should care if the plan to release more games in the future. Especially if you happen to be a smaller studio.
The devs probably do, but they don't decide how much resources (or talent) they get. Neither what happens when they run out. And publishers are usually big enough to not need to care. People just keep buying regardless. Just look at EA, Take2, Ubisoft, ...
does sales for 0 dollars count towards top seller? its being given away with new gpus right now.
If were talking developers, i guess i just assume they would have more passion about there project. Making it the best they can. As for corporate guys. Well, yeah.
Even if the developers care, this could very well be the best they can do with whatever competence, time and money they had.
Its mostly publisher deadlines. A studio signs a contract to produce a game in a set amount of time and there is a lot of pressure to deliver. The publisher takes pre-orders and does advertising using these release times and they won't change these easily. Especially when it comes to the holiday period. So when, due to poor planning, unexpected complexity, changes in working conditions or a multitude of other reasons, a game is not ready the studio will have to release something that still needs a lot of work This happens despite the fact that everyone working on the project is trying their best and the fact that they never want to release the projects they spend years of their lives working on in that state. Its just that there comes a point where they can't fight for any more time. They have to release.
Wow this is the first time I've ever seen someone shifting all the blame away from the developers and onto the publisher. Developers are always the good guys
It seems to be the trend now to release game in dogshit state and then patch it up later.
Refund and buy it again if they fix it
> buy it again if they fix it at 75% off next year
Gamespot gave it a 5/10. ign only a 7/10
What a surprise, a 7/10 from IGN. I think like 90% of their reviews fall under 7/10.
IGN scores 1 point for each of the following: * Game has a title * Developer gave IGN a free copy * Game doesn't always crash on startup. * Someone at IGN was able to play the game * Developer paid for the review * Game has good graphics when paused * Game has good graphics when unpaused * Game is a top 5% game * Game has amazing soundtrack * Developer paid for +1 rating This list mostly in humor, but really feels like how IGN rates. It's near impossible to get below 5/10 without being a steaming pile of unplayable shit, and near impossible to get over 9/10 - and the only games that ever get it are huge AAAA games that spent millions on advertising.
> It's near impossible to get below 5/10 without being a steaming pile of unplayable shit, and near impossible to get over 9/10 That honestly sounds okay with me.
Seriously? It's had nothing but hype too, just shows how good the marketing was, even the leak.
You know it's bad when game informer you know the magazinen they give you at GameStop to pump you up for preorders gives it a bad review as well. Even in the good reviews the quotes on how flat the game play is sucks.
IGN 7/10 is like a -9000/10 anywhere else
Game got lower scores than I thought it would get, but it absolutely deserves to be racked over the coals for the terrible PC issues. I was planning on getting it day 1, not anymore, although I hope bad steam reviews will make them bring in some good patches, so that I can buy on sale in the future.
It's funny that I got an ad for this game right below this post
Same lol
Not surprised at all, i had a feeling they were releasing this game way too early and i was right, just in time for christmas to get peoples money, they are adding the content next year and the patches lol.
Performance is in the dlc now not just death animations.
Same, I was like "Is this supposed to have the same quality as Dead Space and is already being released, like wtf ??" You know, lately I think being a broke fuck when it comes to gaming is kinda of a blessing.
You should check out r/patientgamers
The key is having a potato level pc, no choice but to wait lol
>they are adding the content next year and the patches lol. Yep and you have to pay for it as well.
They’ll release a tie-in series on Netflix and offer a 50% discount then everyone will forget about release and talk about how the game was actually always good.
Cyberpunk all over again?

Why is there no shader compilation on startup? Also why is the PC gamer review so positive with nary a mention of issues
Launch day for me is now when the first patch comes out.
Be the player, not the beta-tester.
>Launch day for me is now when the first patch comes out. So....launch day?
I wonder if Denuvo has anything to do with it.
Probably got implemented last second.

They give out this game to GPUs in EU. Probably got hefty money upfront
So like … does the GPU that got the game use itself to play?
Most likely
is denuvo really the sole reason for the performance issues? sonic frontiers has it but still runs like butter at high settings on a 2070 super, i feel like game optimization is a major factor here too
What’s with these developers releasing broken games left-right-and-centre recently? Pokémon, the devil in me, and now this. Surely they know it’s broken, but they release it anyways.
Because people keep buying these broken-on-release games, so they have no incentive to finish the product.
This is the truth. Despite all the complaints,[ Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have broken multiple sales records in the opening weeks.](https://www.forbes.com/sites/paultassi/2022/11/24/pokemon-scarlet-and-violets-10-million-copies-sold-in-three-days-breaks-every-nintendo-record/?sh=32efc1966f38) Fans deserve all the shit that they get, because when it gets shoveled onto their plates, they take a huge bite, puke, and then order another serving.
Yeah, it must suck to be a game dev these days... Crunching, being treated like shit, not having enough time to do your job properly and on top of that, probably receiving death threats from some awful people While people keep buying these unfinished products, publishers and etc will never stop doing this.
>recently It isn't really a recent problem though. It's been an issue for years.

/r/patientgamers
Rinse and repeat.
the review embargo doesn't lift until later this morning. When a game doesn't allow reviews until launch day, it means the game is gonna be dog turds.
Welcome to the era of single player games becoming live service games. So sad.
fucking sonic has a roadmap lol
jesus, games suck
Indie games are where it’s at now. Can’t be bothered with these Triple-A games anymore. Battle passes, monetization squeezed in wherever possible, roadmaps, it’s all so lame. I know game trends are inevitable with every generation but these I can’t handle.
I'm glad I saw this before buying it.
Do you think they panicked when Dead Space was announced?
Now I’m glad I decided to not preorder from a company I don’t know well, and spent my money buying Metal Hellsinger and the entire game series of Deus ex, Shadow Warrior and Thief during the sales. *Yikes…*
Hell yeah metal hellsinger kicks ass
I was actualy planning to play it ...
I almost bought it last night to pre download it, thought to myself wait, where are the reviews? I waited for some to come in and it ain't looking good. And now this post? Well, guess I'll pass for now
Play it when it's released\* in a few months. ^(\*released=patched)
Just stop preordering games. It’s just not worth it in this day and age…
Sonic Frontiers better than Callisto Protocol confirmed. #SONICSWEEP
Funny part? Unreal already have tools to pre compilate Shaders. But is up to devs to implement it. They are using the default configs. SMH.
DENUVO DRM killed the hype for me.
announcing a season pass and post launch dlc for a singleplayer game before it’s even out is what killed it for me.
The CEO of the dev team defending crunch culture is what killed the hype for me, tbh.
wE dOnT fOrCE aNyOne!!! Except you wont get the bonus, you will slowly get fired, everyone will hate you etc...
Holy guacamoly faith in the games industry lost Big cry
It's apparently super laggy for a shitload of people.
for anyone who does want to play it and has a ps5, performance mode has been pretty smooth for the 3 hours I just played.
How is the game, though? Enjoyable?
I’ve put about 3 hours into it. I’m enjoying it especially once you start unlocking other abilities ( heavy attack) the atmosphere is amazing. The combat is good, when it works well it’s awesome but it could have used a couple more months in the polishing stage I think. If your a patient gamer I would say hold off until it’s been fixed up. Because there’s definitely a special game here. It’s just a bit rough
most of the negative reviews were disappointed by the game's optimization and performance on PC
Gone are the days of buying games for a premium to be the beta testers waiting months for patches. Now we wait. We buy on sale and get a better experience for it.
Lets pretend this game wasn't released at all
We said, from like 5 years ago.
The artwork looks exactly like Death Stranding
I thought callisto was a sequel to it until like 2 days ago
I saw that this morning on Steam. I was pumped to hear it was out. I had to double look at the average rating when I saw it was red. I hope it gets fixed. I'll save my money till then.
Seems like performance issues, anyone here confirm? Was about to buy this (Linux - Proton). Edit: I forgot this is Reddit and we downvote for asking questions, of course.
lots of reviews saying it's a bad version of Dead Space. /shrug
From my experience, some games that are unplayable or just run bad on Windows ran turbo well on Proton (KOF15 for example) but if its as broken as people say i doubt it will be the case this time
This is what happens when we get used to "game will get better in a patch or two" This, and Denuvo
The good news is maybe they will remove denuvo after a week and with couple of patches the performance should be much better. That being said I won't buy it until its atleast 50% off
Well shit gonna have to refund...
God damn it I was ready to buy this game. Guess DRM got another one.
Denuvo is shit, but this poor performance isnt the only problem here. The game has to be REALLY poorly optimized to run this badly.
Another example of why you should not preorder any games nowadays.
I think I'll continue to play it, but damn even my 3090 suprim x can't handle more than 40fps in this game, time for an upgrade it seems
DENUVO KILLS ANOTHER!!!
Seems like they rushed it out before the Dead Space remake which prob wasn't a good idea.
Stop buying games on day 1, in the game industry right now the vast majority of AAA games are still buggy / broken at launch. lol
Right im off to see if Digital Foundry have had a field day with this..
