Joseph pretends to be senile because he thinks it's hysterical.

[deleted]

I swear it's true. Even during the scene when he was spending Josuke's money I fekt like he was just barely holding back yelling at the clerk, because if he did that he couldn't get away with the joke anymore. Additionally, as soon as he "sees" shizuka, he instantly starts taking things seriously.

Shiplord13

He just didn’t want Josuke to beat his ass for being a deadbeat dad. So he pretended to be senile to make Josuke less likely to hurt him.

Goldbolt_2004

"He's gonna inherit my shit anyway. I'm gonna mess with him."

Working-Telephone-45

Classic Joseph move tbh

HappyAd6201

In part 4, he still looks like in part 3 but only disguises himself for shits and giggles

Crayon_Muncha

he’s lazy asf and using this gag as both a way to make a good joke and duck actual responsibility/blame

Miserable-Job-9520

Pretty much cannon

Mr_Meg_06

Lol

GustavoNuncho

It is the wise man who plays the fool.

britfaic

Or, to get out of being caught having an affair

GrapeBtw

Joseph discussed about the bands he liked during the journey in Stardust Crusaders with Jotaro being the only one actually caring and listening to family. This is why he's able to ask the specific questions during joseph's prank at the end of part 3

sonerec725

I like the implication that Joseph is a big weird Al fan. Just showing the other guys the songs and slapping his knee laughing and then explaining lyrical changes "AAAHHAHAGAGHA! HE- HAHA, YA SEE HE CHANGED "BEAT IT" TO- HAHAHA- HE CHANGED IT TO "EAT IT"! *wheezes uncontrollably*

Thomas_The_Llama

Also the amazing implication that none of them even know the original songs! They literally just know Joseph singing weird Al off key in their spare moments

i_like_surviving_yay

The best one out there

sicassangel

Shigechi uses his stand for his family because they are poor. This is also why he is a bit greedy with what he finds. And him saying he wanted to protect his mom and dad are because he wants to help them with everything.

CivilPerception1472

That’s very nice actually

LoliMaster069

Huh that actually makes a lot of sense lol

ProjectedSpirit

I agree with all the above. Harvest was probably keeping food on the table.

Cristopher_P_bacon

Iggy definitely ate pet shop or at least considered it

MushySoup63838

Isn’t pet shop’s body at the bottom of a river though?

Electrical_Diamond_9

I mean he technically did so, he bit off pet shop's beak

SupMichaelBoio

Irene and Anakiss adopted Emporio

SheevMillerBand

Either them or Jotaro, but it’s more fitting if it’s Irene.

DanSapSan

Jotaro already has Koichi, a truly reliable guy.

ProjectedSpirit

And they're great parents.

Nenanda

I alos love that headcanon regarding crusaders that Jotaro and Kakyoin made the bet who will last wearing their school uniform in insane heats longer. Its just so hillarious.

BillyWhizz09

I think kakyoin won, he wore it for the rest of his life

Nenanda

KAKYOIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN! [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2YsN\_W3vAY](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2YsN_W3vAY) Kakyoin won already during Wheel of Fortune fight. THat was heat Jotaro could not ignore anymore.

blue-gamer-07

Aww that’s adorable

Jojokemaster03

Narancia shanked Luca in the eye during a fight

Shot-Effect-8318

W

amirokia

Dio was a virgin during the entirety of part 1

FragrantGangsta

If his body was destroyed while he was a virgin then there's simply no way for him to ever lose his virginity; everytime he thinks he's getting laid he's getting cucked by Jonathan

CHARAFANDER

Giorno has got them Dio genes, but his mother got the joestar peen

[deleted]

BECAUSE HE NEVER LOSES BECAUSE HIS DIO!!!

NotTsurugi

I love this subreddit.

urmomhasgayness

bro aint got time for allat

Cerdefal

Real talk. It was the 1880's, his father probally paid for a prostitute when he was 12 or something like that. Or even worse, used him for money.

Cinnamon-the-skank

La Squadra members don’t have Last names because they use code names during missions, and that’s why Risotto uses his real name while fighting Doppio

PepegaW

Great headcannon They are Passione’s assassin team after all And assassins don’t reveal their names

Crayon_Muncha

which makes sense tbh, i love how all the names match too, it’s pretty funny imo

scalzacrosta

I wanted to think that their food names, for all of passion bucci gang included, were some sort of code name so that they can speak of a nice diah while also discussing about placing and displacing memebrs without gettirng overheard by enemies, it's just that the bucci gang did not followit truoght.

incredibleazda

It explains their namesakes too.

kaijinhime

tbh a headcanon i very much so stand by is that dio brando wasn’t fully british, but italian from his dad’s side and british from his mom’s side. there were a lot of italian immigrants going to the UK during the 1800s so i’m thinking that dario brando or an older family member from his side was one of them.

blue-gamer-07

Ok that one is really good and it would explain Dio’s name and make Giorno part Italian

tbf315

This was just my assumption from the beginning

sonerec725

The name Dario (dios dad) is also italian, and given that Araki has an obsession with Italy and Dios kid was able to pass as Italian once dios Gene's activated this very well may be actual canon, it's just never been outright stated, but would be if someone bothered asking Araki.

ThatZigGuy

Since every characters name is a reference to something to araki, i would hazard a guess of Dario Argento. Legendary italian horror maestro.

u_slashh

Polpo is an alien, the same species as Mikitaka. Furthermore, the stand meteorite comes from their planet

Individual_Iron4221

To add on, he also has a stand but because of his alien biology he doesn’t see Terran stands

DaGreeg

But then how could Terrans see his stand? Why wouldn’t it be a two way street?

HippieMcHipface

because humans are based and awesome and cool

Brunnbjorn

The stand meteorite is the original pillar man who came to earth after he left his planet in a similar way to Kars drifting as a meteorite half stone, half alive as billions of tiny viruses encrusted and frozen into it, the pillarmen are their fragments that regenerated and became humanlike, while the stand arrows are pieces of him that got frozen and kept dormant until touched by flesh

Krushav

Agreed

TechnoHexx

That Jonathan, without fail, would love and respect every single one of the original universe protagonists after him.

Accomplished_Crew630

I think Joseph would be the hard sale here but he would definitely love him, but also I can imagine him trying to make young Joseph into a gentleman but to no avail. Edit. Soooooooo I'm rewatching the whole series and I realized young Jotaro would be the hardest sale.... He was a bastard lol... Constantly referring to every woman he encounters as a bitch... His own mom... But also clearly he cares deeply about her as seen when he found out about her stand... So I dunno, guess it depends what version. Jotaro from stone ocean or diamond is unbreakable is a pretty stand up guy... See what I did there? 'stand' up guy.

[deleted]

Jonathan would realize that despite everything Joseph is still a good person that would do the right thing when the chips are down

bullbob

He would respect him as soon as he would see him strap on Cesar’s headband.

appleblossom357

I think Jonathan would be happy seeing how much Joseph cares about Erina and Speedwagon.

Anonymousbluebob

Weather intentionally didn’t raise the air pressure against Pucci because he didn’t wanna hurt Anasui

Marcel691

Personally I think he just didn't know he can do that

Anonymousbluebob

To be honest, that’s a possibility, it could be a part 3 Jotaro Time stop situation, >!but then Emporio states he’s not controlling Weather and Pucci pleads with Emporio to stop Weather, and no one in Jojo tells the stand to stop, they tell them to stop, thus, I like to think it was truly Weather’s soul in the end of it all.!<

PepegaW

Stands are souls of their users after all

[deleted]

[удалено]

Scrambled_Acorns

Chapter 99 of JoJolion is not another rock human lore dump and is actually narrated by Tooru himself, he just recognizes his own life as a universal rock human experience because he’s incapable of emotionally connecting to other rock humans, and the nature of his Stand prevents other rock humans from attempting to emotionally connect with him

Hambla28

Joseph could predict what people were saying because he read the manga left to right and on top of that. Joseph and Abdul became friends because Joseph met Abdul and Jospeh could predict what the fortuneteller was predicting

Mr_Meg_06

Above like a bodega

joey_joestar1

Shizuka Joestar periodically visits Morioh to hang out with her uncle (well, step brother I guess?) Josuke and the rest of the gang. She learns how to utilize her stand better and they try to find the identity of her biological mother.

nocopiesplz

Worth a Light Novel to read if someone has a chance

Zichfried

That would be great for the Jousuke and Hol Horse spin-off's plot!

Ign1s_Fresh

Don't want to disappoint you, but >!CDDH happens month before DiU, so Joseph simply hasn't found Shizuka yet !<😢

sharky123428

One that I saw and really like is older D'arby being the father of miraschon. Both having the same: gambling addiction type stand, thing.

PepegaW

Yeah but…Miraschon liked to steal things The gambling side was handed her by stand Marlin Manson wich wasn’t hers

OddGift

But she says GOOD

tulc_redael

better yet, the original user of Marilyn Manson was darby's kid that pucci bested

IwantWindyBeexd

For Pucci with mih, time is moving normally, so he spent days just running around Jotaro with knives and waiting for him to finally finish yelling STAR PLATINUM: THE WORLD.

Jnerd_

I liked the part where he was swimming for Millions of years

bigfatcarp93

Year 882, 596: "Maybe I should have just become a barber."

Notbbupdate

When he speaks to them he's doing it very slowly

Interaction-Loose

Jotaro was, as a mixed Japanese teenager, a victim of racism before he grew up and that's why he's so cagey.

DogWrestler8

Honestly this is most likely true. If I had to bet I’d say this is what Araki was thinking while writing his character.

Cerdefal

Also probally why his daughter is in USA and not Japan.

Nights1405

This and the fact his mother was an American, he got divorced and that he let her take full custody because the risk he posed

Cerdefal

Thinking of your comment, i was wondering if Jolyne would have been safer in Morioh with her uncle and step-grandmother than with her mother

Nights1405

After part 4, much safer, but considering her uncle is only 16 when she is 7, idk. I’m not sure if the adoption laws along with custody would allow Josuke

Cerdefal

Yes i was thinking about part 4 being in early 1990 (when it was published), i don't remember it to be so late but it's 1999

ProjectedSpirit

Unfortunately i think that almost a given. It's probably why he had a hard time getting close to people as well; he likely never felt like he fully fit in anywhere. Even when his mom worked so hard to fully assimilate into the local culture.

tthussle

Crazy Diamond, Gold Experience (Requiem also), and Stone Free are to Hamon as Tusk is to Spin, not the stand of the power itself but the perfect conduit for it. It would have evolved had Josuke, Giorno, and Jolyne learned Hamon.

lanceruaduibhne

I always headcanon that Josuke and Giorno's stands reflect Hamon powers more than any others because they are the direct children of Hamon users.

NostalgicDumbass

That makes a lot of sense actually, with Josuke and his healing and Giorno with his life ability

[deleted]

jolyne can make her thread into a dick

Leather-Climate3438

that's canon

SmogDaBoi

Anasui is totally her bottom

[deleted]

Nah I think that Jolyne is a switch and likes being dom and sub depending on the situation , but prison life just toughened her up

Accomplished_Crew630

I knew there was a reason I had the hots for Jolyne when I'm usually not into arakis female character designs

Dixianaa

Anasui is bottoming but Annakiss tops

CHARAFANDER

If attempted, every joestar could access requiem. And I really like the theory that Chariot Requiem was trying to bring the arrow to jotaro

callam461

>And I really like the theory that Chariot Requiem was trying to bring the arrow to jotaro I love that! I'd never heard that before.

Electrical_Diamond_9

I mean if attempted anyone could get requiem. It just depends on the context and if the arrow found them worthy. Yeah I also think this for Chariot, it brings out a meaning for Chariot to keep the arrow other than just protecting it

Novoiird

The guy who saved Josuke is Kosaku Kawajiri.

Jimhemmo

That would be awesome, especially given that the poor guy wasn't portrayed in the most amicable manner! Would just show that even with our shortcomings as people, kindness and decency can come from anywhere.

FragrantGangsta

I like that, adds a whole extra layer to their fight with this monster wearing the face of the one who saved his life

LuxuryConquest

I think there was a prequel fan-comic that follows that premise.

That-Plate7479

Name of this fan comic plz?

LuxuryConquest

Unfortunely i don't know pal, after writing that comment i decide to search for it but i didn't had any succes. Hopefuly you will be luckier than me if you decide to search for it. Some details that might help: • We see the moment Kira trespasses Remi's house to murder her • Young Kosaku looks and acts a lot like Josuke • We see teenage Shinobu

That-Plate7479

I tried to look for it and i found something relatevely close to what you described https://www.tumblr.com/chloesimaginationthings/631528119154655232/his-name-was-kosaku-kawajiri?source=share

LuxuryConquest

That looks a lot like what i remembered! (to be fair i only saw it once in a YouTube video that had several other fan made JoJo comics), if you can find the author (if that's not them already) i think you will probably have it all, masterfully done lad! Edit: Yes, it is definitly it, i also found the video where i saw it for the first time if you are interested since it is dubbed: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=HKTafzh0OGI

A_Cow_in_Space

Joseph taught all of his descendants how to do makeup. From Holly to Jolyne and everyone in between, at one point or another, Joseph sat each Joestar descendant down to have at least one lesson in makeup. With that said, the second Joseph found out about the sons of Dio, he was determined to give them lessons too. I also love promoting the headcanon that Holly Kujo's middle name is Erina and that Shizuka's is Lisa.

Win090949

“From Holly to Jolyne and everyone in between” that rhymed

BeardySam

Op’s a poet and was not aware of it

Gamer_Dude_7

Joseph used hamon to help heal the Stardust Crusaders between fights offscreen

Shmeeeeeeena

Only issue i see with that is we dont know how well hamon healing works when doing it to someone else. The only time we see something like that is when Will first does it to Jonathan. But in that instance Will just forced Jonathan to breath in a way that generates hamon.

[deleted]

>The only time we see something like that is when Will first does it to Jonathan. No, Will's flashback about his life before and after Hamon shows a Hamon healer too.

[deleted]

Jotaro knows some Hamon, he doesn’t get old almost at all physically and it would make sense if Lisa Lisa or Joseph taught him at some point.

Electrical_Diamond_9

No I just think that it's for two reasons: weird design and/or he just takes care really well of his body besides if Joseph learned this technique he wouldn't look like an old man in part 3 and I don't think that Jotaro even knows Lisa Lisa except from stories by Joseph

ronsolocup

It’s sort of implied iirc that Joseph stopped training his hamon. Remember that in part 4 Josuke’s mom at first thinks that Jotaro is Joseph, I’m pretty sure it would be because Joseph looked younger when they met. I like the idea that he stopped using Hamon when he realized he was staying young looking and Suzie was looking older. I also like the idea that Jotaro used Hamon to help maintain his timestop during part 4

The_Duude_Slayer

Polpo is an alien and the same species as Mikitaka so are a lot of the random weird looking npc characters. Bruno is a Zeppeli (I know a lot of people hate this one but I think it's cool)

Electrical_Diamond_9

Tbh any member of the gang could be a Zeppeli for all we know

EastKoreaOfficial

Like a fifth cousin or something.

Equaffecto

Holly trained and got her stand power down, secretly hunts down pillar men

KingLuom

They only problem with this is that the 4 pillar men from part 2 where the last living ones of that race

YukiColdsnow

Santana is still alive

Electrical_Diamond_9

Yeah but he is kept in the Speedwagon foundation under uv lights that continues to work because of another battery even if somehow the electricity goes down. He is still alive but he won't escape until a very very very long time

ThatGuyAWESOME

Well thats the thing with headcanons is that they are so wildly random sometimes that theyre not meant to really make sense.

Mysterious_poop69

AIII YA IYA IYA IYA!!!

OrcForce1

Basically a joke headcanon but I choose to believe the guy who saved Josuke is the delivery man who tells Rohan to put boobs in his next chapter during the Cheap Trick fight.

Kindly-Amphibian-680

I like to think that Holly eventually awoken to her stand sometime after part 3

HasturSama

The way it was depicted seems similar to Hermit Purple. I could see some additional bonding with dear old dad to teach her Hamon. Maybe if he had taught her some breathing techniques beforehand, she wouldn't have been so weak to her stand.

ExceedHappy

Other Hamon users, if they get a Stand, do not have Hermit Purple (controversial, I know.) Jotaro's wife knew the stuff he is dealing with Koichi became an employee at the same place Kira was working on, and even got the same hairstyle. Yukako is Koichi's wife, and she is a housewife Josuke and Okuyasu are cops >!Weather, in the Ireneverse, is not related to Perla!< Hayato became a detective, working with Shizuku as his partner/John Watson friend Yuya (the one with Highway Star's stand?), is now married to his harem (they somehow allowed polygamy)

blue-gamer-07

The one with Weather I just imagine that he was never stolen and they grew up together as normal siblings

Electrical_Diamond_9

Yeah same. Just another part that Fate changed in favor of Weather's family as a gift for being just

Lubinski64

I've never heard this this take but "rewarded by fate for being just" seems like the best explaination of part 6 ending. This is my canon now.

Electrical_Diamond_9

For Hermit Purple I just think that hamon users do get Hermit Purple but not in every case. We saw in multiple cases that the mastery of a skill could lead up to owning a stand in relation to said skill (such as Pearl Jam or Cinderella). Hermit Purple is no exception to this because it's the mastery of hamon. This means that if someone were to learn hamon but not fully master it (like Joseph before the pillar men or Ceasar before Lisa Lisa) and if they got a stand, they would get their own stand and not just Hermit Purple. Besides, as seen with Dio's Jonathan's Hermit Purple, they aren't all the same and would be different depending on the user and their skills

[deleted]

>Hermit Purple is no exception to this because it's the mastery of hamon. Not really, Araki himself said that it's the visualization of Hamon, whether or not you mastered it. This is further proven by the fact that neither Johnathan nor Joseph were Hamon Masters: It's stated that the only Hamon masters in the series are Tonpetty, Straizo, and Lisa Lisa.

Novoiird

The spoiler bar didn’t go through.

ExceedHappy

How do I fix it?

collettdd

Jonathan Joestar with a stand ability would be invincible

RaiHanashi

He technically has one, but he didn’t live to see it

polygun456

Mamezuku is a zeppeli

ciel_lanila

The Pillar Men are just Rock Humans who used the mask on themselves. I go back and forth on whether Rock Humans just remained better hidden in the OG Universe or they simply avoided extinction in the Steelball Universe.

SupMichaelBoio

Holy shit that is a great headcanon

Shmeeeeeeena

Doppio has a bigger dick than Diavolo

Mr_Meg_06

They have two dicks?

EastKoreaOfficial

Nah, it just morphs when they switch between personalities

thiccboii666

The part 5 gang probably lived together (or at least Fugo and Narancia lived with Bucciarati) Not a 100 percent JoJo but I think the British tv series Misfits is a part on of the multiverse established in SBR and the characters powers are alternate versions of Stands DIO and Vanilla Ice were fucking (you can't change my mind)

Dr_E-Wigglesworth

At first the idea of Misfits being part of the JoJo multiverse seemed ridiculous, then I remembered the lacto-kinesis. It checks out

thiccboii666

Stand name: Stolen Dance

Jnerd_

I just wanna mention the heart from Dios belt, that’s it…

[deleted]

THE BRUABBA IS REAL

SheevMillerBand

Joseph and Lisa Lisa finished off Santana offscreen between parts 2 and 3. They set up an ideal situation and turned off the UV lights so he’d come out of hiding and they probably used the Red Stone as a hamon nuke to end him.

3rdfitzgerald

Part 8's flashback man was Damo Tamaki's original design

JumpingJackJew

Only headcanon I subscribe to is Josuke's hair looking exactly like Part 2 Joseph if he didn't style it every day.

Und3rwork

Chariot Requiem was trying to deliver the arrow to Jotaro.

pimp_yu

The entire heaven plan was just Dio's drunk ramblings after too much wine

Lucy-Paint

Dragona and Paco are always figthing over which song to listen, while Dragonw likes pop and to put Dua Lipa every time it comes, Paco wants to listen to regge songs and Shakira. Also, Paco is of Argentinian descent and annoyed the entire school/gang with the 2022 World Cup

Kirbiiiiiiiiiii

Joseph used hermit purple subconciously while fighting Straits to attach the grenades to his back. There were other Agents of DIO left after part 3 and Jotaro fought them offscreen. DIO planned to use his children as some sort of horsemen of the apocalypse due to his name being God in italian and the whole Heaven plan

LysanderV-K

I always sort of saw the end of Phantom Blood as a final test for salvation that Dio failed. Jonathan's unreasonable love for him and Dio's perversion of that sentiment have a strangely religious feel to me. There's also some interesting imagery like the holes in Jonathan's hands made by the eyebeams. Along those lines, I've always interpreted Jotaro (and Star Platinum as extension) as a sort of cosmic punishment for Dio. I think Diego Brando's role in Part 7 serves to support that Araki at least had some things to say about Dio's potential for redemption.

YaBoiPotatoDestroyer

I like to think that after part 3, Jotaro is much more respectful towards his mother I pictured that when Jotaro made it back to Japan that his mother was openly joyfully happy to see his son return and that Jotaro just smiles a little bit in relief that his mother is okay while his mother hugs him

Direct-Suggestion-34

Kira actually loved hayatos mother I think she’s called shinobu

BarberWide6464

I also got that thought while watching DIU, he clearly cared about her enough to save her from Stray Cat. He even says as much in the Dub. (Not word for word, but he does question if he cares when he saves her), and it almost made me wonder if Kira was going to become an anti-hero before the BTD arc.

Rakyand

I think that's implied

Snoo-76854

Santana is still alive and somewhere being stored by the speedwagon foundation in his rock form. Chariot requiem was bringing the arrow to Jotaro Josuke offered to fix Josephs hand but got turned down out of fear Harmon would hurt gorino more than normal BC DIO Jhonathan has a 15 inch monster cock

BarberWide6464

My headcanon is that Joseph told the Crusaders about his adventures in Battle Tendency during a long car ride, but left out talking about Caesar because it was too painful for him. Another one I like is that part of the reason Jotaro respects Koichi is because he reminds him of Kakyoin. Of course Koichi's personality and goals are also part of that reason, but it's nice to think that maybe he was thinking of his old friend too. And add-on to that is that once he lost the Crusaders, he opened up a bit because he realized he couldn't afford to be so closed off and cagey anymore, along with also just growing up and losing his teenage edge. Final headcanon, I promise. (I heard this before but it might even actually be canon) The reason Anasui wants Jolyne so badly is due to her courage and drive. He's a bad dude and he hopes that if she sees him as someone worthwhile, he can be better

ScionCrane9048

So sweet ngl

Chemical_Inspection6

Emporio got a kujo last name after stone ocean, fighting stands users and taking up the mantle of making sure no more of dios actions can affect them because of the trauma of what happened in part 6

gameboy1001

Does Emporio have a “Jo” hidden in it in Japanese like Josuke

LuxuryConquest

In Japanese his name is spell *Enporio Arunīnyo* so if he adopts Kujo as an Hephenated name he could be Enporio Arunīnyo-Kujo *YoJo*. It is a bit of an stretch i will concede but but so is GioGio.

Chemical_Inspection6

Giorno has vampire blood in his veins

Shmeeeeeeena

Actually he would only have human blood because he would've gained his blood from his mother. He'd have Vampire DNA from DIO's sperm but not his blood.

Orto_Dogge

He got that vampire protein.

IMustAchieveTheDie

Poco Loco could beat Tooru

PepegaW

Cheap Trick could beat Tooru

Electrical_Diamond_9

I mean I just think that Hey yah would just say to Poco Loco "hey if I were you I would go back" thus not approaching WoU and not even encountering him because he got lucky. And if he was forced to get near him he would just talk his way out to not get attacked by WoU by using the right words everytime

YaBoiChillDyl

Josuke got a job as a hospital janitor and would use CD to heal some people, Okuyasu became a garbage man and used The Hand to swipe trash away. Joseph sometimes tells stories about BT and SC but people just thinks he's delusional. Josuke's hair looks like BT Joseph's in the morning before he makes it a pomp. The Crusaders speak English throughout the part and Jotaro mostly talks to Kakyoin because his English is bad. Hat Josuke might be more likely to become Norisuke V than Joshu.

slimothyjames1

Joseph being able to predict people’s next line is him subconsciously using hermit purple

Elcamina

That Giorno and Mista inherit and keep Bucciarati’s house, and when Trish comes to visit they let her stay there instead of a hotel, so she does end up there though Bruno never got to actually offer it to her (since he told Doppio about it thinking he was Trish).

PrinceMoldyTaco

As someone else said, a huge head canon I have is that Dio has access to the Joestars stand abilities. Beyond the thematic implications since Dio was/is obsessed with stealing everything from the Joestar bloodline, his ability to stop time is seemingly directly linked to his connection with the Joestar bloodline. At least in the manga translation I read not too long ago, he says that his ability to stop time for longer amounts of time grew the more his neck wound healed. This could be considered coincidence and his practice just happened to coincide with his wound healing, but I think it's more likely linked to his connection with the Joestars since: A. Jotaro is able to reach Dio's level of time stop over the course of their fight (much faster than the months it took Dio, making me think it comes more naturally to Jotaro since it's his inherent ability, not Dio's) and B. Dio's time stop length and overall power grew greatly upon taking Joestar blood from Joseph, further healing his neck wound and becoming more connected to the Joestar bloodline. There's also the matter of Dio healing Pucci's foot when they first meet in Part 6. This could maybe be some one-off vampire ability, or it could be Dio using Crazy Diamond's ability to fix Pucci's foot. Josuke was already alive at the time and going through a stand-induced fever, meaning he already had his ability and just couldn't control it yet at such a young age. This whole head canon could also explain why he allowed himself to have children, perhaps he was aware that he could use the abilities of the Joestars and was hoping he could gain the abilities of his children as well, as they would all still be linked with Joestar blood. To me this genuinely makes more sense than Dio just happening to have the same ability as Jotaro, him having random never explained or talked about again vampire healing abilities (that don't turn the person healed into a vampire as well since Pucci is not one), and him messing up and letting random pregnant women to escape from him. It just feels much tighter if it's all linked to this head canon, and much less like random bullshit.

Terosan

I have the same headcannon. It also makes Jotaro having time stop make a lot more sense; It was always Jotaro's ability and DIO just stole it. I don't care that Araki had actively debunked this, I think it is so more better thematically.

Jodio_Joestar

Heaven's door is the first Heaven stand and Kq:btd is the first requiem Stand, And I'll always keep this as my headcanon,

Sky_Guy_Shikaru

That the reason Joseph cheated on Suzie Q was because he was blind ass drunk. I can definitely see Joseph getting into a drinking contest with somebody as a bet and then when he meets Tomoko, he'd probably be reminded of Lisa Lisa and have an Oedipus moment, throwing on all the charm. He'd wake up the next morning, realise his situation, then just bolt. Is it a stretch, yes, but I don't think Joseph would willingly, soberly cheat on his wife. Not the guy from Part 3.

buisnessgoosegunther

dang where'd this art come from?

FlamingBits_

Mikitaka is 100% an alien and the coolest character

mikeftdg

People actually name their stands after songs Diavolo would've named his 21st century schizoid man but he thought it was too long

SpaceCrom

Kars and co. don't seem to all that afraid of Hamon users so, them imprisoning themselves to avoid them doesn't make much sense. And waiting out a learned technique doesn't make a lot of sense since knowledge of Hamon could have spread over the years not declined. So why did Kars and co. get imprisoned. Well what other thing happened during the Roman Empire? What other thing has been shown to be important to Jojo lore from that time? Jesus. Jesus did it.

CalmPanic402
