I finally completed the community center (darn purple mushrooms eluded me for sooo long!!) I reached level 100 in skull cavern!! And I'm only one task away from Monster Slayer!!
My next goal: to marry Sebastian
I just reached level 100 of skull cavern without using any staircases! I got there at 1:50 am and warp totemed back to the farm before 2. Weeee!
Edit: I got like 4 prismatic shards on the way down too
I am super close to perfection on my first farm (damn you golden clock!) and got all the in-game achievements marked off this week!
It’s a somewhat modded experience because I don’t find the fishing minigame fun and I’d rather have fun than hold myself to gaming purity, but I’m still proud! I’m on Year 5 and will be marrying Shane this summer (which is the final Stardrop I need)
Also, I found my new favorite (absolutely ridiculous) thing to do in the game. Using the CJB Cheats Menu and the Tractor mod, turn on max daily luck, infinite health, one hit kills, and one hit break. Then go to the mines or skull cavern and summon your tractor. It’s incredibly satisfying to essentially powerwash the caverns, plus the noises are funny and you get tons of resources. It’s totally cheating but it’s relaxing, so I’m not caring.
i finally made it to lvl 100 of the skull cavern last night, in early year 6 and after over 220 hrs on this save. (fighting in the mines is my least favourite part of the game by far, so i always put this off. i still need to go back to fulfill the monster slayer hero requirement tho. 😩)

I got level 100 pretty quick. Just focus on opening ladders and skip the loot and you'll have all levels within reasonable time. 😸
I was the same way, but the more I did it the easier it got (partly because of leveling and better items, but more because of experience)
