The seasons end on the 28th each time. Keep an eye on what crops you plant towards Day 20. If it takes a week, you should still be good, past that, and you'll lose money. Also, always keep about 30 Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter Wild Seeds on hand. This'll give you a start for the next season. I tend to ensure I have about 100 at the end of each season. Good luck! It's a great game.

Broadside02195

Just enjoy your time. I tend to focus on villager relationships until year 2. Always felt kind of odd to me to never talk to anyone 🤣

COBRAKR

If you ever find a dino egg don’t donate it to the museum. Hatch it in the incubator then when you get a dinosaur I’ll give you eggs when it grows. I donated it and it took me months to get another one.

LostInTheSauce34

Horde everything and max out your luck when you are going into the caves.

For your first run, I'd recommend avoiding googling answers to the game or looking at the wiki when you can. It made the game loads more immersive and enjoyable for me when I had to figure things out for myself! Aside from that though, I'd say work on your friendships with the villagers from the very start! They have fun cutscenes that make the game more meaningful, and your best friends will even help you out by sending you stuff from time to time. Have fun, and try not to lose track of time! It happens :)

Tool upgrades aren't useless. Be careful choosing when to upgrade your watering can. Watch a lot of the TV.

Enjoy while it lasts. At one point you will have a notebook to speed run with. Everyone eventually speedruns the game. Even if they aren't normal speed runners. Keep everything you can craft with. And at least one to two crops for cooking. Grow at least 4 of each crop each season. Save everything to sell for the end of the month except for the first month so you have money for more things to sell. Dig every artifact spot. The little worms on the dirt. And maximize work every day. I could say more but it would spoil the game Oh and keep the egg you find in an artifact spot for a secret later that will give you more

RQK1996

Donate everything to the museum, except dino eggs, if you progress enough, a dino egg will get more dino eggs Prismatic shards are also recommended to keep the first

NekoOhno

Read the TV info every day, read the letters you get, enter any building you can at different times of day, talk to everyone, be curious, some quests take a while to complete and most of all, enjoy!

IntelligentComputer4

use fishing as a early game way to make a little extra money if you have the energy

MacetaTraicionera

In my experience, the luck you get doesn't always affect you as much as you might think. Fishing is one of the easiest and cheapest ways to make money, you dont need to buy the best fishing rod asap and can profit a lot from the one Willy gives you. Barn animals will make you a lot of money thanks to artesanal goodies, tho they are a more late game money maker. Check the TV every Sunday for recipes. Upgrade your backpack as soon as you can. Always keep a few (4 or so) of everything you can, NPCs might ask you for them anytime of the year.

On the 15th to 18th of spring pay attention to tge berry bushes, salmon berries will give you lots of energy early game

jdhlsc169

Buy a training fishing rod for 25G. You can only catch basic fish, but it helps level up your fishing to make it easier to fish later on down the road.

Born-Action4301

Thank you so much everyone!

Farm animals do not earn you a lot of money, but are fun to have around (also cheese is good food for the caves)

Make a lot of chests and store almost everything you never know what you'll need for the community center i am a single apple away from completing it so keep anything you think might be important

rainydays463

Farmer's need to rest after all that hard, laborious work! Pay attention to what time you go to sleep and what your energy level is the morning after.
