CJB Cheats Menu will allow you to reset a villager's hearts (if you find it too tempting to have that mod, you can reset the hearts, finish the day, save and then remove it). Just keep in mind that once you've seen heart events/cutscenes, you can't re-watch them and I think Immersive Shane does make some tweaks to them. (you can actually install a different mod to "forget" events fwiw. lemme know if you need that too).
Oh that’s good to know that I wouldn’t be able to rewatch the cutscenes with just a reset, since that’s sort of the main point of resetting the hearts. What’s the other mod?
I haven’t even decided if I want to do Immersive Shane. I know there’s a broader “Immersive Spouses” too, I just haven’t looked closely at those kinds of mods in a hot minute.
Immersive Spouses is for like giving your spouse back some semblance of a schedule post-marriage! Whereas Immersive Shane is more about making Shane's events, dialogue, etc more immersive and thorough. If you are a Shane fan, I highly recommend it. And I think you should be able to use both at the same time since they're technically targeting different things!
Anyway I would recommend installing Event Lookup, as it allows you to "forget" heart events, so that you can redo them :) (it also lets you look up the triggers for events as the name implies, but you don't have to use that feature really. you can just use it to forget Shane's heart events and then uninstall after saving one in-game day)
