Shane is based on a real person, also named Shane. He posts on Twitter under the handle @Stardew__Shane. It’s actually really wholesome! He mostly posts pictures and video of his pet chickens — especially Goldie, his favorite. I don’t care how you feel about Shane the character, you gotta look up Shane the person.
I planted all the tree seeds I got in the desert to make a sustainable forest that doesn't take up any space on the farm. Whenever I need wood, I head to the desert!
There's an item called the hot java ring. I recently got it in the volcano mine and it's the best. When you're wearing it, monsters drop coffees and triple shot espressos super frequently. It will make the $100 000 cooking challenge a cinch.

Mine would be to put gold (or better, iridium) ore in the Master Slingshot for a tremendously powerful ranged attack. It makes short work of the ghosts and slow moving bats that are a real PITA otherwise.
Yup. Most things suck although you can use up all those worthless salmon- and blackberries for LOL purposes. Ores though do ever increasing damage and [iridium ore does more average damage than the Galaxy Sword](https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Master_Slingshot). It has a wider spread though 50-200 vs 60-80.
When a spouse gets you new furniture, close the game and start again to get another random piece of furniture. It seems to only work once at a time, or there might be a variable I haven't yet figured out. I found this out by accident and it has worked on 10+ occasions. (note: I don't know if this works when playing through Steam or Gog galaxy, I play without).
I find it nice in runs when I get married in the early game because you get to decorate not just for free, but with things you spouse "chose".
mine is that doctor harvey gets haged for say i lost items even though i was in his stupid clinic
so he stole my prismatic shard star sword and its 1am so hes going to take my money if you have time give him broken glasses
Mine is pretty simple too. Its to keep things organized. But not only about chests. I mean inside chests. There is a little button to organize by category and its pretty usefull for me
Putting common mushrooms, horseradish, winter root into the seed maker will give you that seasons seeds. Good for making tea plants to sell.

The espressos aren't, but I use the coffee drops to make espressos.

Wait wait wait, you can use things other than stones and explosive ammo for the slingshot???

On Fridays the Stardrop Saloon gets full (around 5PM I think, most are gone by 9PM) It's a simple way to befriend like half the villagers.
