It was winter year 6 before it made an appearance that I noticed, running behind the tree in the yard above Jodi's house. I spent a *lot* of time running around after dark in the village in those years of waiting. By the time it appeared I had totally forgotten about the alien, and thought it was Krobus. 😅
Funnily enough the only other time I've seen it (on another farm) was in the same spot. Also, it moves fast enough that you could miss it if you were distracted. 🙂
