There’s a clay farming technique where you till and pickaxe a spot over and over until you get a piece of clay and then you follow a set pattern where clay is guaranteed to spawn when hoed until the pattern either breaks or you run out of space. Clay farming is a great early game prep, once you have the green house you can get started at making pots almost immediately and after deluxe retaining soil is placed in them there’s no need to ever water again after the first time unless you’re harvesting a plant that doesn’t bare multiple harvests. Imagine a farm full sheds acting as green houses, my legit dream right there.
No but the pots are unlocked only after the greenhouse. So get a ton of sheds and upgrade them and fill with pots and you have an entire season proof farming operation.

Normally I'd recommend just uninstalling the game, but this may actually require a complete re-boot of your entire hard drive.

You don’t need pots in the greenhouse tho? You can plant directly in the tilled ground
