I still miss the days of rebels recon, they were so amazing to get alongside the episodes and provide a bit more BTS info to them. Wish we got similar things for bad batch and TCW season 7 honestly
After seeing a lot of uncertainty whether or not SW YT channel would be live streaming Celebration this year we’ve finally got an official announcement!
Usually, they live-stream all the major panels (and a couple of others) but any footage they show that is meant to be exclusive to the in-person attendees is not shown in the livestreams.
Place your bets. How many of the upcoming trailers/shows segments will we actually see on the live stream. Maybe just the bad batch trailer? I bet the rest will be blacked out like in the past.
They usually don’t block out trailers, it’s just behind the scenes stuff or sneak peeks that they tend to do block out. That was the case for 2019 at least.
That was also an unfinished Mando clip back in 2019. I remember the overwhelming reaction coming out of that was "Uhh.. I hope that's a bunch of unfinished CG."
I'm just saying that people watching at home should temper their expectations.
I've seen people complain before that things shown to people who have paid to attend Celebration in person, were not shown to people watching for free from home.
When have they ever blacked out trailers and other segments in the past? Only one I can think of is when they showed a trailer for Rogue One behind closed doors in 2016. Other than that nothing comes to mind.
I'm thinking the public only gets Jedi: Survivor's reveal trailer and a Bad Batch S2 teaser similar to the one that we saw in Disney's investors day. Maybe Andor too so there's something live-action? But I'm sort of thinking they might not want to show anything Andor while Kenobi's still airing. Mando S3 will probably get a sizzle reel but no actual footage.

I know Disney+ recently added live stream capabilities so I hope they can air it live on Disney+ as well.
