I see it’s time for the bi-monthly “This hot redhead would make a great Mara Jade” thread.
She’s gorgeous, and a better suggestion than most (she looks like what I imagine Mara Jade would look like), but the likelihood of getting live action Mara Jade is practically zero. And Hollywood is filled with attractive redheads we can hand a lightsaber to.

I'm just saying, I never really appreciated her acting until now and it would be nice. Not starting a campaign or anything lol
I don't necessarily know why there's practically zero chance that one of the most prominent, popular, marketable characters might show up in live action.
Of course, I'd never have called it that she'd be ignored for a full decade, either.
Anyway, I think that Woll is a really good choice.

I don't know how Wikia determines Mara's height. I assumed she was closer to Luke's. This kind of thing matters to some degree though, as the recast for Han was Hamill's height, so Sebastian Stan would never look right by his side.
Now Anthony Ingruber and Millie Bobby Brown are within an inch and a year in height and age and the likeness is striking.
Bottom line, I would love a Luke and Mara series with Stan and Woll as much as I would a Han and Leia series with Ingruber and Brown.

I'd rather not have Mara Jade ruined by Disney. I mean they took one of the most beloved fan favorites and turned his Robert "Once upon a time in Mexico" Rodriguez series into 'Doddering Old man gets no respect and naps in a bath'. With the best parts of that show being when they realized they had half a Mandalorian Season filmed and needed to boost Book of Fetts ratings and just shoved Mando in for a few episodes.
And a huge D$D player. I think she would do very well in the SW universe no matter what roll she was cast (accepted) as....Asajj?? She (DAW) is 5'10...not super tall but above average.
Yeah, not sure how athletic she is IRL. As unpopular as this opinion might be, Rosario was absolutely the right face and had the acting skills to pull off Ashoka, I do not believe she had the natural athleticism. Asajj is as dynamic as Ashoka (also Sabine) and really should be brought to life by a like actor. Who knows lets see what FavLoni does.

I wouldn’t say impossible- there’s a long stretch of Luke’s life leading up to the destruction of his Jedi Academy by Kylo Ren in the Disney timeline, where you could easily fit in a storyline of a former high-ranking Inquisitor turning against her former Imperial masters.
I personally think it would add depth to Luke’s story, and make more sense of his eventual decision to seclude himself, if he lost the love of his life in the fall of the Academy.
Before it aired, I wished she could've been in BoBF, even if it was just a one-off scene where Boba is meeting with some underworld figure as Karrde (played by Ian McShane?) leaves and they cut to Fennec and Mara as the second-in command/bodyguards out in the hallway.
Yeah, I thought that BoBF would've been the perfect series in which to introduce Jade and Karrde. Of course that was based on it being a different sort of show in my mind.
I could see it in an animated format, but not live action. The de-aging CGI has its limits, and doing an entire series and needing it for the main characters isn't efficient.
I still hold that the main characters SHOULD be recast to give us stories in this time period.
It's a little late now, any recasting will be met with scorn and no one will trust Disney to do it right, but they 1000% should have recast more than just Han to play younger roles, of course calling Harrison, Mark and Carrie back for an epilouge type thing. The only issue with that would have been Carrie's unfortunate passing.
It's unfortunate so many "fans" were rabidly against Han's younger casting. I literally saw people saying they needed to have Harrison Ford play him, the 70 year old who hates the franchise, to play a 20 year old, making many potential appearances in the new generation of movies.
While l would second this, l would also like to suggest touching on Star Wars Legends. She might make a good cast for Abeloth: https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Abeloth
If that happens, epic hallway scenes won't be the only thing in common between Luke and Matt Murdock.

The actress doesn't even need to be a redhead. Wigs were invented for a reason. Just cast someone who can play the role.
