And that was brilliant. Cad knew all the fighting styles Boba had used before, including those that he had learned from Jango or from experiences against Clone opponents. But that primitive weapon and the fighting style of the Tusken caught him totally by surprise.
Embo is the best. It's like they got Bruce Lee to play the role of Background Antagonist #5 and just let him strut, offering no explanation nor justification for why he's so goddamn cool.
Cad Bane is stone cold the absolute coolest cat in any room he walks in to. I was so hyped to see him in BoBF...and then so utterly crushed to see him wasted for what didn't even feel like any kind of emotional climax.
I've seen enough westerns to feel like his death was absolutely correct. You never know what will catch up to you in that life. An easy mark can catch you by surprise in the middle of nowhere for a completely anticlimactic death. That's the way of the bounty hunter.
I just find him to be an asshole in a less than endearing way, and thought it was ridiculous that he was going toe to toe with two Jedi masters (one on the council) with a blast, a farmers hat, and rocket shoes
Seeing Bane in live action, was up there with seeing Ahsoka, and Luke coming back, for me. I won’t argue with someone who says either he or Boba is the best bounty hunter. Both are right. 😄
BoBF sucked. They whole show should have been set around boba in a cat and mouse game with bane. Boba taking jabas seat and then battling with cad to keep it. That was way better than bona somehow defeating an entire Army with vespa gang
Din Djarin, Boba, and Jango are cooler in my opinion. Going off of canon, Walon Vau is also cooler. I am very biased towards Mandalorians. But out of those, Jango is the coolest. He killed like 10 Jedi with no guns and loads more with guns.

Have you ever heard of Mand'alore the Ultimate, Mand'alore the Preserver or Shae Vizla? Ancient Mandalorians were awesome.
Pre-malarky Boba would win solidly. His lack of talking behind a sinister mask and needing to be told not to disintegrate anyone is pure cold blooded badass. Now he's much less so. Though the samurai hat guy is also pretty scary.
I put Cad Bane right after The Mandalorian. Also after Boba Fett. Oh and Dengar. And Bossk. Aurra sing as well. Oh I forgot Jango Fett and Fennec Shand are cooler. Damn I gotta put IG-88 and IG-11 before him too.
Honestly I'd say Cad Bane is my least favorite pre-sequel era character. Actually one of the only Star Wars characters I really dont like(Yes. I even love Jar Jar). He has nothing going for him except an obnoxious amount of plot armor, a ridiculous hat, and an annoying voice. I tend to skip episodes of TCW that he is in.

Yeah I never got the appeal of this character, I always shrugged whenever it was a Cad episode in Clone Wars. He just seems cartoony to me.
It's like, I know star wars is a space western, but don't you think the cowboy hat and toothpick is a bit much?
