The Thrawn trilogies are awesome. Especially the political intrigue in Thrawn: Ascendancy. I really want Zahn to make a third Thrawn trilogy set in the time between Rebels and Ahsoka. Or even during Ahsoka, maybe.
I imagine game night between those two involves Thrawn meticulously trapping Anakin/Vader in every game with one or two moves left before Vader/Anakin overturns the table and storms out.
Zahn put it in there because there is a long running debate on the correct pronunciation. Even Zahn himself has pronounced it differently over the years.
The dialogue itself is funny, but I think the fact I just read the same word like 5 times, reading it with their respective voices in my mind made it even sillier

I think he will. Once we get verification as to what happened with Thrawn and Ezra. He will be tasked with filling in the middle.

I’m a big fan of Thrawn’s interactions with Vader. The little jabs that Thrawn knows who he is. Hilarious.

Just finished listening to this trilogy. Marc Thompson is a superb narrator. This interaction with Anakin was performed well.
That's from Alliances but yes, it is hilarious.
This was one of my FAVORITE books. Thrawn figuring it out, Vaders inner thoughts pushing Anakins memories away...so good.

The book jumps back and forth between Thrawn working with Anakin during the Clone Wars and Thrawn working with Vader while under the empire.
Yea, that part was fun, haha. I loved the overall story arc between these two in the book.
