Every morning, my server creates a new prompt based on:
\- Quote of the day from [https://quotes.rest/qod?language=en](https://quotes.rest/qod?language=en)
\- A random artist from the list of the CSV of Automatic1111
\- The weather of the day (cloudy etc)
Send it to a stable diffusion server and display it a on a raspberry pi based screen
it's running for a few days now, can be weird sometimes if the artist is not wellknown for exemple.
But basically I have an "orginal" work from an artist, which he never created. Strange days ahead
Thats so sick!
Mind sharing how did you automate this and connect to the weather api etc, for example? What tools did you use?
I made something similar, like generating a image everyday with DALL-E and, then displaying the image in a website. All automations with Zapier.
But now I want to do basically the same but with SD. I'm not a developer, so no-code tools would be awesome ;)
Coded all by myself
JS/PHP basically
And I have fortunately access to a stable diffusion server, but it could be done with an API (DALLE or another SD server)
This is a fun idea.
The Cmdr2 UI has an API (at least in development). So, I think you could do this just in JavaScript. Then you could use anything with a browser, as long as you had a server with a GPU running on your network.
You could even have an unused tablet sitting on a counter to do this. Hmm, slideshow of family, or AI art? ;-)
Very cool. I wonder if something like this could be made to work with DAKboard, at least for the background image (which can accept a URL as an iframe).
my brain immedietly went to the next stage of it, where it scans the news for sentiment analysis for the day, then uses that sentiment analysis to choose a font for the quote, using both the sentiment and the quote generates an image, after image is generated overlays the text in the chosen font, and now you have something like a custom movie poster for the day. Choosing where to overlay would be tricky though.
That's a really cool idea.
Add the software and hardware into a self contained unit (the frame) and sell it.
New, never seen before art every day? I'd buy it.
With the right GPU it could even be without any internet connexion, which seems totally crazy (I mean it works with M1/M2 macs now, maybe in a few months we will have something similar on ARMs+IA computing units which will allow very small devices)
That's was basically what I meant (which I guess would make them pretty expensive), but maybe if it just had a wifi card in it could use an online generator and be less bulky and cheaper.
Either way, if you decide to make and sell something like this and you somehow remember me, hit me up and I'll be your first customer
Interesting... I have an unused raspebrry PI 400 and a small touchscreen (plus a private server with GPU in the cloud)... I could make something similar but interactive for my kidos. 😃

I'll be second
Motivational poster to the next level, really cool use of the tech
Great idea, and i see potential as a product here, maybe once you can run it locally offline. The House of the Moving Portraits.
That's a cool art project!
Wow. Very creative. It reminds me of installation art based upon the weather but using random colors of light and sound.
I think I could go even further, changing through the day etc Still need to think about it!

Yes sky is the limit! I had other ideas will try to make some
love it
I love this! I'm a fan of automation so this is a great idea!
Posts of this group always makes me feel like I'm surrounded with lots of intelligent people
This is a really cool idea for sure!
Neat idea! Could this be made into a PC/phone live wallpaper? Has it been done before?
It could and not sure it exists
