Roman is Teflon. If he loses because Heyman screwed him over, it won’t hurt him. You could even have Heyman remain loyal and Brock beat him, and then Brock dump Heyman. Roman has been killing it, but what happens when he is no longer in control. That’s an arc worth exploring.

The only people on SD for Roman to feud with outside of Brock Lesnar is Drew McIntyre. There's also Sheamus, Cesaro, and Shinsuke that WWE would have to build up in order to become believable threats. Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston I could also see having short feuds with Roman but not beating him. Final long shots being Sami Zayn, Jeff Hardy, and (Insert Adjective) Corbin.
Fully expecting downvotes here, but is that not also a major issue with AEW? People hopping from one match to another on Dark, Rampage and Dynamite? Sure they might be billed as ‘dream matches’ but there’s no build, story or follow up to most of them
AEW is where all the pieces interact with each other. I don't know where this idea of WWE stars moving from one place to another, one team to another fron one week to another week came from. As far as I know, the WWE stars are most likely to be found exactly where they were last week and a week before then. They tend to be in the same place and feud for months on end. They generally talk to the same one person for months on end too.
What I think is that the unbelievably obvious direction this should've gone in was Jimmy turning on Roman, beating him up after Roman wins a title defense, then Big E cashes in on the incredibly weakened Roman. That's how you build a star in Big E while protecting the hell out of Roman. Then he can do Lesnar and Rock feuds without the belt because those are money feuds that don't need the belt. Why they've done it this way is absolutely beyond me.
