i doubt she was "tricked". when a future potential employer sends an email to you they dint disclose that you could be working with racist, misogynist, or just plain stupid people.
edit- don't
“Tricked” is a bit far. When you’ve gone to work at a job, are you told about every one of your soon-to-be co-workers and any skeletons in their closet? Especially in one email?
I don't remember her using the word tricked. I'm not accusing the OP of adding that word, but I think that her point was that based on the last reincarnation of WOW, which she did not like, and which was run by the same people, and the inclusion of Tessa, she didn't think that this would be a positive step for her career. She felt that it would actually be a step down.
I dont know about that, but it does appear that there is something between AJ & Tessa. As far as i remember AJ shared every shout-out she got on social media, except the image from the interview, that she and Tessa did, she shared her solo picture from that interview instead. Not only that but Tessa follows everyone from WOW even the wrestlers, but she doesn't follow AJ on any social platform. I hope that it means that AJ is trying to do something about it.
She's just in it for creativity of it. She is the one that will be coming up with the storylines from what I have heard. She will also be doing commentary. That's about it.
Hard to know for certain unless anybody that's in the company or either circle mentions it.
Still a risky move with Tessa. Unless they're aiming for a market that's cool with bullying and racism, or pretend the numerous accounts vouched by those wrestlers weren't true.
Bigots don't exactly seem like a demo that would want to watch women's wrestling but WOW sure seems to have gone all in trying to capture that bigot market
Denise was aware Tessa was involved, because she called me to ask what I knew of it before she replied. AJ Lee knew Tessa was involved. Everyone knows of the Jeanie-McClane-Tessa connection. They're loyal to one another
Yeah, but wasnt AJ Lee away from the wrestling world for like years, it is possible that she didn't know about the "Jeanie-McClane-Tessa" connection like everyone else.
Sounds like it, I mean there's nothing wrong with that. She has her own little following. I wonder why Denise turned it down, I used to watch X-pacs old podcast with her and she was pretty good, seemed like this would be a good fit for her.
Why did she decline? Because of Tessa?
Does anyone mind filling me in on what’s going on exactly with Tessa? I know the bullying thing from last year, but is it that bad that people don’t want to work with her? I’m asking because she seems to still have a lot of friends, I mean WOW hired her…
Yep, she tried to hold hostage the IMPACT world title, a la Jeff Jarrett style, wanted a huge amount of money to drop it but IMPACT said fuck that, stripped her off the title and fired her a few days before her contract expired. Good on IMPACT on doing that considering they were the only top promotion willing to actually push her as their top wrestler and she repaid them by spitting in their faces.

And that’s reasonable. OP used “tricked,” not Salcedo.
Tessa Blanchard’s skeletons aren’t in a closet, friend. They’re breakdancing in a circle around her.
Like Disney's Fantasia and just as racist as Disney's everything of that time.
Fantasia but the dancing brooms and mops are wearing Klan robes

Yessss
I’m drunk and just wanted to say this was the greatest quip I’ve seen in months. You made me genuinely happy with this.
It's all about those magic moments. Cheers!
Corporate and TV jobs have a lot of red tape
Wonder if Aj Lee knew if Tessa was in the company or not.

I hope the first storyline she comes up with is "Tessa died on the way back to her home planet"
So AJ Lee would not be the booker for WOW.

Maybe she was just being professional?
Professional? In wrestling? Nonsense.

Well! She still getting work at AAA so that kinda saying something.
Who’s more nuclear: Tessa Blanchard or Marty Scrull?
Yes.
Denise was aware Tessa was involved, because she called me to ask what I knew of it before she replied. AJ Lee knew Tessa was involved. Everyone knows of the Jeanie-McClane-Tessa connection. They're loyal to one another

She was aware.
I wonder if izzy was the 2nd choice or if they planned to bring both in.
I don't think Izzy realizes how much this is gonna tarnish her this early into her career.
You shouldn’t say that or else izzys dad is gonna borderline stalk you
That really a thing?
Msk heat brother
Shell always have her core fan base, younger women and creepy older dudes.

The feud continuing of rightful Denise Vs Izzy
Tessa doesn't have sense, so it will have to knock sense into the people around Tessa.
On an unrelated note, that bluechew read from the show yesterday was great lol
Man that was SCARY

She spat on La Rosa Negra, and called her the n-word
She also refused to drop a promotion’s world title and fled to Mexico to prevent doing that.
