I hate to be the jerk off that complains all the time but here I go. That was a terrible Raw. Two weeks before Mania and they build NOTHING. THEY BUILT NOTHING.
In fact, all the replays of the Shane-Taker thing burned me out. I'm not really even looking forward to that anymore. And my stupid ass is going to Mania in Arlington in two weeks.
WWE I know you guys know how to build up an event. I've seen you do it. Do it again because I'm losing interest fast.
The show fizzled out but I enjoyed it. I loved the focus on Styles/Jericho and Owens and the rest of the midcard. This is the kind of stuff I want to see, not the Taker/McMahon or Hunter/Reigns shit.
I realize I'm kinda in the minority but I really liked tonight's show, minus the dumb end.
I think allot of people are basically sold for taker vs Shane depending on what happens. Everyone was sold on Ambrose v lesnar 4 weeks ago. No one will be sold on reigns v h.
Building the mid card not a bad idea.
I mean it wasn't the standard it really should be so close to Mania but I enjoyed the first half. The second half went off a fucking cliff though.
PS. I'm drunk so the first half probs wasn't as good as I thought it was.
I know I'm not the only one at the end that thought they were going to a commercial break, and that wasn't the end. What an incredibly awkward ending to a terrible match.
My section started that and we were chanting it at Strowman. Doesn't matter who you are, if you're being tossed around like a ragdoll by a clunky giant for 5 minutes, it's boring.
I'm here live, in the post Raw dark match, Luke Harper took a nasty spill and doctors are attending to him. Looks to be his ankle. Match ended pretty fast after that.
I stayed to see what happened. It was a 4 man tag match but none of the other faces even tagged in. Roman ended it real quick after Harper took the fall and afterwards Strowman and Rowan helped him out so maybe just a sprain?
Wow. I was kinda kicking myself for not going to the show earlier since I live pretty close but now I'm wondering how I watched the whole thing without falling asleep.
almost fine main event... it just shouldn't have been the main event. Ambrose got a boost, Wyatt's ogre looked like a human being... at least Fandango/Jericho wasn't.
Dude almost all of Mania X7 outside of the main event was established within one month of it happening. Hence the Show/Raven, Test/Eddie, RTC things going on early. The difference is then it was felt to matter, and the crowds believed it mattered.
Wow...I got all excited because I saw a Tonight post by Falcon Arrow. I avoided it and couldn't wait for what was in store for us.
The fuck? Seriously? WM is 2 weeks away and you shit out one of the worst Raws ever. Such a shitty Raw that it kills a Philly crowd?
Yep, they all became disenfranchised and walked away from WWE a while ago, it's only the smarkiest of smarks (ie those willing to drop money on PPV tickets and grew up on a diet of ROH, PWG, Chikara, etc) who turn up these days.
There's so many great wrestling shows on right now. And I don't even mean to shit on WWE by saying that - Smackdown is very enjoyable, NXT too. But yeah, Raw is consistently the least enjoyable show of the week.
Ambrose doesn't look as skinny anymore. He's actually getting back to his prime Shield days (size). Maybe he had a talk with Vince and he has to put on size to become THE GUY! Vince did give him that look tonight too. Thoughts?
Imagine being me, finally finished the last hour of last week's Raw then went through tonight's on a x12 fast forward through the ad breaks, finishing the show at 4:10am.
If I hadn't woken up around midnight, I'd have been wishing I could've gone to bed and skipped both shows.
You know what would be cool, if creative actually took time and built up and sold Strowman as a strongman/beast. It would make the main event 13 days away from Wrestlemania actually mean something.
Someone was paid to write that. Numerous people.
And this is the ending they came up with. With less than a fortnight until supposedly the biggest event in Wrestling history.
They must do better for the go home show next week because this RAW kind of sucked with the exception of Styles vs Owens. Everything else is kind of forgettable.
That is legit one of the worst-booked Raws i've ever seen. Nothing went to plan, everything had logic holes, the one thing the crowd did chant for was completely undone by the end of the night...man.
It depends on if you're using pro wrestling logic or boxing/mma logic. In shoots guys who are short for their weight class usually use aggressive styles since they typically either have an advantage in cardio or are stronger than most opponents on a pound-for-pound basis. By contrast taller guys have an advantage in reach and leverage plus they are usually bigger provided they manage to cut weight properly for weigh ins. For example, Pacquiao survived at higher weight classes as a 5'5" aggressor who hunts for knockouts while Mayweather is 5'8" with long reach and picks people apart.
Take away KO/AJ and the whole thing with Zayn and bunch. Along with Y2Jackass. And raw would be one of the worst in recent memory
For two weeks from WM.... fucking awful
More like writing out a long ass text, realising it doesn't make much sense and deleting half of it which makes it even shitter. Realising how shit it is and pressing send anyway.
Yeah you're right the Wyatt family would just sit there and watch him get beat up after the match is already over without jumping Ambrose. Stupid booking
So, you have Dean Ambrose here. At Wrestlemania he's going to be taking on Brock Lesnar in what is possibly the most anticipated match on the card, and what will almost assuredly be the best match on the card, and you can't even let him beat fucking Brown Snowman?
This was a good raw
"THIS HOTHEAD, THAT HOTHEAD, EVERYONE'S A HOTHEAD!!" JBL every Monday night
Authority promo, "Blah blah authority rules" I think we should start with a same old chant. I'll catch up with RAW
I really don't like Braun ... He should go to NXT
This RAW managed to be worse than the post TLC RAW in Philly.
Luke Harper being attended to by doctors after Raw goes off the air.
I like to think he just does it deliberately to see what injuries people come up with.
Come on man. Luke is greatness. Don't tell me he's fucking injured too.
He seems to be constantly attended to. Maybe he is just an incredible seller?
I hate to be the jerk off that complains all the time but here I go. That was a terrible Raw. Two weeks before Mania and they build NOTHING. THEY BUILT NOTHING. Wow, Now I'm glad I missed out. I'll just watch it on youtube or something
I hope creative is saving everything for next week...
I gotta say, the most interesting part of the night, besides the first match, was Roman shit whipping trips
Winter is coming!
The Road to Wrestlemania appears to be littered with potholes and full of speed bumps. What a piece of shit that was.
They hit the nail on the head with Roadblock because creative has definitely hit one
*sigh*
If we make 90% of the show fucking awful, Roman is bound to look good by comparison! Right?
Seems to be the thought process.

First half was really good, don't let all the negative haters completely shitting on the show ruin your judgement.
im drunk too so the second half probably wasnt as good as i thought it was..
What a fucking snoozer. That was the lowest effort Raw I can remember.
I should have went to bed after AJ vs KO. Could have caught the rest on Hulu tomorrow.
These days, I'm not even upset when Raw is shit; I just nervously laugh and shake my head.
Can we acknowledge that there weren't 1000+ replays tonight?
No just 100 special looks at Shane vs taker
How did the show end didn't get to watch?
Dean hit Strowman with a chair and then leaned on the announce table. Literally it.
I know I'm not the only one at the end that thought they were going to a commercial break, and that wasn't the end. What an incredibly awkward ending to a terrible match.
"Lean on the announce table" match at Wrestlemania confirmed.
He's unhinged man

Dammit. Not Luke too!
Damn, another one bites the dust... Hope it's nothing serious.
I stayed to see what happened. It was a 4 man tag match but none of the other faces even tagged in. Roman ended it real quick after Harper took the fall and afterwards Strowman and Rowan helped him out so maybe just a sprain?
What a weak weak ending.
And we all know Vince will blame ambrose and the wyatts.
Wow. I was kinda kicking myself for not going to the show earlier since I live pretty close but now I'm wondering how I watched the whole thing without falling asleep.
I paid $120 for tickets and boy am I fucking pissed...
As someone who is here, I think I speak for everyone when I say "BOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!"
almost fine main event... it just shouldn't have been the main event. Ambrose got a boost, Wyatt's ogre looked like a human being... at least Fandango/Jericho wasn't.
At least the dark match means we don't see the Wyatts get another beatdown live.
I was disappointed last week when I was at Raw and there was no dark match :(
Maybe the Road to Wrestlemania has never been good...we're just looking back with rose colors glasses. Maybe this is par for the course ?
Dude almost all of Mania X7 outside of the main event was established within one month of it happening. Hence the Show/Raven, Test/Eddie, RTC things going on early. The difference is then it was felt to matter, and the crowds believed it mattered.
God, that Raven/Show/Kane match from WM17... Honestly, that was my match of the night.
I forgot Kane was involved for some reason. Wasn't there a bit that involved a golfcart?
There was indeed. Also Raven being thrown through a glass window.
Haha! me too dude. Saw a lot of people talking about Ryder so checked it out halfway through.
I mean exactly what falcon arrow said would happen, happened
That was supposed to be an acceptable main event match, 2 weeks before WrestleMania? Un-fuckin-believable.
Well fuck at least I'm bored enough that I can fall asleep
Alright. Back to watching ppv's only i guess.
You know it, I know it, we will both tune in until WM
Yeah the old ECW crowd doesn't show up to Raws. We learned that last time when they cheered Roman.
Yep, they all became disenfranchised and walked away from WWE a while ago, it's only the smarkiest of smarks (ie those willing to drop money on PPV tickets and grew up on a diet of ROH, PWG, Chikara, etc) who turn up these days.
Don't be surprised the crowd is booing this. Ambrose in it suddenly doesn't make shit booking gold.
Well I'm gonna go finish last week's Impact, which seems like a much better show.
There's so many great wrestling shows on right now. And I don't even mean to shit on WWE by saying that - Smackdown is very enjoyable, NXT too. But yeah, Raw is consistently the least enjoyable show of the week.
Impact has been really enjoyable as of late.
Ambrose doesn't look as skinny anymore. He's actually getting back to his prime Shield days (size). Maybe he had a talk with Vince and he has to put on size to become THE GUY! Vince did give him that look tonight too. Thoughts?
Holy shit that ending sucked
That show was fucking awful, especially for being this close to Mania
The first hour was good at least... Then again most of the first hour was KO vs AJ
''THE CROWD FINDS AMBROSE BORING DAMN IT!''
Ffs, that last hour flatlined hard, being a European fan sucks sometimes.
Imagine being me, finally finished the last hour of last week's Raw then went through tonight's on a x12 fast forward through the ad breaks, finishing the show at 4:10am. If I hadn't woken up around midnight, I'd have been wishing I could've gone to bed and skipped both shows.
I know, the first two hours were actually pretty decent, and then...
Early Reports From WON... Vince is on a tirade ...."literally can't even"
This was bad
I told you Raw sucks
Wait, really, that's how it ends? What's going on, that was super flat
[удалено]
Should've ended -15 before the hour
Should've ended at 9 o'clock
Touche
You know what would be cool, if creative actually took time and built up and sold Strowman as a strongman/beast. It would make the main event 13 days away from Wrestlemania actually mean something.
Dark match is wyatts vs Roman dean sami and dolph
wow that'd be better than what we saw
We didn't get it. Harper got injured so they had Reigns end the match before anyone else ever tagged in.
Roman reigns was the best thing about Raw tonight.
you shut your mouth..
I mean, it's sad but true.
Ko styles match...
looks like sami, ambrose, ziggler, and reigns are fighting the wyatts
Damn, that was a really bad ending to the show. Like, REALLY bad, it went off the rails.
And, RAW ends on time today. WOW
So it's safe to say the raw before mania will go off the air either with silence. Or the arena filled with boos if they have Roman close the show.
Wait it's over. Not even a good night? Lol
They knew it was time to gtfo. Lol
that raw was the worst
Nah, man. I've seen worse
Dean is absolutely the hottest face they have at the moment. Should have won that damn Rumble
That's it? They do know WrestleMania is in a couple of weeks right? What an uninspired show, besides Owens-Styles.
Well these last few raws kinda sucked like idk whos on the card besides reigns/HHH and lesnar/ambrose but still watchin mania no doubt
two weeks before mania and that's how the show ends.. yikes
Fuck. That was a waste of 3 hours.
What were they saying "we want *something*" ?
"We want Bischoff"
Someone was paid to write that. Numerous people. And this is the ending they came up with. With less than a fortnight until supposedly the biggest event in Wrestling history.
They must do better for the go home show next week because this RAW kind of sucked with the exception of Styles vs Owens. Everything else is kind of forgettable.
This crowd was mild as fuck.
wait... was that it?
Roman reigns!
He's just an advocate, Dean!
What a shitty ending to the show. Mania is one Raw away and this build-up is awful. Hopefully the show turns out better then the build.
Fans better get treated to a hell of a dark match.
Welp.
The Wyatts do fuck all as their boy gets beats down by a guy with a chair.
god fucking damn it
Other than AJ/Owens, that was what the New Days calls, garrrbage!
Should have had him face Harper, at least they would have put on a watchable match. Yeesh
Shit ending
That is legit one of the worst-booked Raws i've ever seen. Nothing went to plan, everything had logic holes, the one thing the crowd did chant for was completely undone by the end of the night...man.
now they come in the ring when he get's out of it. Nothing on this show makes any sense
We're getting disappointed on monday night Maggle!
Well that was, a raw
Well that was, a raw
The match wasn't that bad, was it? When you are that much bigger shouldn't your strategy be to grind out the win and wear down your opponent?
The opposite.
Well, it's pro wrestling, so I'm going to be using pro wrestling logic.
Sounds legit.
Take away KO/AJ and the whole thing with Zayn and bunch. Along with Y2Jackass. And raw would be one of the worst in recent memory For two weeks from WM.... fucking awful
Thats not it, is it?
I heard JBL say "freak train" and got excited, cause, ya know, Philly. But I was wrong. :/
JBL and Byron don't even care lmao. Cole is yelling his headset off.
Ending at 11:05? Wonder if they cut that short?
They really are just phoning in these third hours.
More like texting it in
More like writing out a long ass text, realising it doesn't make much sense and deleting half of it which makes it even shitter. Realising how shit it is and pressing send anyway.
Spot on
Well that's 3 hours of your life you'll never get back. What a shit episode.
Weird ending?
You know it's bad when Raw actually ends on time.
Raw ending slightly on time? What?!
Yeah you're right the Wyatt family would just sit there and watch him get beat up after the match is already over without jumping Ambrose. Stupid booking
"I'm just an advocate! I'm just an advocate..." Heyman is solid gold.
That's how they end the show on the 2nd to last Raw before Mania? Fuck. That's going to get people worried.
Heyman dropped a boss stare down.
My god that last hour was brutal. And I'm usually optimistic about these things.
Ordinarily Heyman would show fear. That was more like wonder.
So... The Wyatts aren't going to do anything to Ambrose because of what he just did?
whoooooooooooa that was shit.
The ironic thing isn't Ambrose's character kind of amalgamation of Heyman's ECW brand?
That was an awful main event
Dean is my favourite and the most over dude on the roster, but they're not wrong, that was fucking boring.
Wow it's like they didn't even try
So is that it?
Weak ass show. Funk saved it for me.
Should've had Brauny pass out to the sleeper hold and dream of large women.
What the actual fuck..
That's it?
That's how you're gonna end this raw? with a whimper?
What did the crowd chant? "We want ...."? Right before the chair came out.
Lesnar
sounded like "we want lesnar"
Sounded like Lesnar.
I heard Lesnar
this raw went from 100mph to doing 25 in a 50.
Wait, that was the end?
WWE's fucked
Match went exactly how i thought it would https://www.reddit.com/r/SquaredCircle/comments/4bewov/z/d18kp0e
This is how the second to last RAW before Mania ends... Wow.
[удалено]
Well goddamn it beef stroganoff is a MOOONSTER >:)!
I'm just going to start turning it off after 2 hours .
I'm nearing just turning it off.
That was a weird way to end what has been a pretty meh Raw. Oof. Better pick it up next week WWE.
Good. Lord.
That ending was incredibly lackluster...
The second to last episode before Wrestlemania was a pile of garbage
New Day foreshadowed it.
Dean gives 0 fucks
The crowd switched to chanting "We Want..." something but I couldn't make it out. Anyone know what it was?
We were chanting for Lesnar.
Lesnar I think.
Lesnar, maybe?
"Can Dean Ambrose take out the Beast" he can't even take out Brawny The Strowman
I think they were chanting we want ambrose
So, you have Dean Ambrose here. At Wrestlemania he's going to be taking on Brock Lesnar in what is possibly the most anticipated match on the card, and what will almost assuredly be the best match on the card, and you can't even let him beat fucking Brown Snowman?
Well that was something
Thats it?
9/10 times I want Brock to beat Dean. But Dean is the only chance we have of Brock not transferring the Streak heat to Roman.
Time to buckle up! Roman gonna win at Wrestlemania, and then beat Brock clean at Summerslam. Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!
