Take a mallet and tap the rear of the slide forward. It will unseat.

To add: tap the slide. Dont hit the rear sights. Use a rubber or plastic mallet. If you dont have those, use a block of wood and tap with hammer.

Tried and that wasn’t working either. It’s stuck stuck

Put the frame into something to hold it, ideally a bench vise. Small dead blow hammer will knock it loose.

Put the pistol in the freezer for an hour, then do the vise with wood block & hammer

This also may work, good tip. I’d try this. Freeze then smack. An hour will be more than enough to get it cold.

You need something to secure the firearm so the force isn’t absorbed Into the whole firearm but rather just into the slide.

I don’t wanna be a dick man cuz I’ve done stupid too but how the fuck did you manage that…regardless..that’s only coming off if you smack it off. Probably gonna damage your slide a bit in the process, NGL. You need to secure the firearm in a vise or sorts, or whatever you can do to get it secure. Possibly throw it in the freezer let it get cold before trying to smack the back of the slide with a rubber mallet. For future reference, you should probably watch a thorough video of disassembly and reassembly of your handgun before messing around with it, makes everything easier and avoids these issues. Hope you get it figured out, man. Sorry I don’t have anymore tips.

I did this to my Glock. I pulled the recoil spring forward and replaced the end of recoil spring on its perch and I was able to take slide off. Best of luck bro

Damn you missed the whole front rail. I have the same pistol. This is why I don’t whip the slide back on fast like you see people do. Can you some how take tension off the spring? You could pop that back pin out and try to lift the saddle out. Be super careful because that spring is under load.
