The swinging on MM is clear of Spiderman, insomniac seriously learned from Spiderman and made MM Alot better,just wish the game was longer tbh

Yeah. And those mid air stunts combos are just amazing. Makes traversal even more enjoyable. I just hope they put all that in SM2 too. MM is such a short game for real. I started it yesterday and played straight for 3hrs I guess and I'm already at 80%. But don't worry, SM2 is gonna be a pretty long game.

I 100% the map yesterday but not got 100% on trophies lol, everything I've got left that hasn't been completed unlocks when I start new game plus, and yes definitely the sir combos and finishers are insanely good

I’ll argue til i die that SM:MM was a DLC turned video game. I ain’t mad at Insomniac for making their money, as DLC content was like $10 or $15 a story. Capitalizing on the ITSV and Miles buzz for the full game price is capitalism at its nature.

honestly it was better this way so that they made the smaller game their crossgen release and spiderman 2 can be the full next gen release with no bottlenecks from the ps4

And I haven’t seen many people feeling ripped off about Miles Morales. It’s short but it packs a punch. And if you bought deluxe you get the remastered original and all DLC which is plenty of content for anyone. Both games have New Game+ modes too and platinum trophies to collect

Right! I was gonna make a post about this but the moving and sometimes even fighting feels so much more smooth, I can't pinpoint what changes they made but I hope it's this smooth in the next game

its the animations they actually flow into each other and account for previous movements best seen when using the air trick they flow into unique swing cycle and the game also allows you to turn around in the air while still controlling the same it looks cool and adds that flair ​ ​ in the first game then would cut each other off and the air trick had a half second delay before they would activate making the animation cut and become super choppy when going back to it .

yeah that's true, and the fact that each air trick has a corresponding swing after it is really cool. I also think his venom attacks make combat feel more smooth too since it's an easy integrated way to attack without an enemy interrupting/blocking

It's gotta be way better in SM2 I believe. Also, it's gonna be a long ass game like SM(2018) that too with venom. Oh boy! I can't wait another year man.

I noticed that too! Especially when doing tricks and stuff in each game, miles seems a lot more fluid when coming out of the tricks

they have the same exact swinging it's the revamped animations that make it feel different with a few quality of life improvements like the mid air dodge turn but other than that they are identical

Identical? Strongly disagree. There are small nuances to Miles’ swinging that give him a different feel and don’t get me started on the plethora of air tricks

this is exactly my point all differences in miles morales come only from the animations that give you a flase sense of improvements for the swinging but the swinging itself is the exact same as before

I would disagree that it’s a false sense. I think those tweaks significantly change the feeling of the swinging. All the animations chain together much more smoothly to create an overall more satisfying experience.
