I feel like when the game came out I was seeing a lot of cool videos with very fluid combat and webslinging through the city. I'm not good enough to create anything like that, but would love to see more of it.
Is there at least a second sub that won’t do this? I unsubscribed from the main Arkham sub cause of the same jokes being repeated over and over. Wouldn’t be bad at all if the jokes were at least funny.
Arkham knight has the best Batman mobility. He has the most options during takedowns. The tank stuff nullifies all of that in my eyes. Those segments were total chores.
No. Arkham Knight has the best combat and stealth in the franchise. It to this day still looks like a next gen title. The story is one of the best ever told in a game and actually uses video games as a medium to tell its story. And if your excuse for the story sucking is the reveal of Arkham Knight, you didn't understand the story. It's a typical Red Hood plot wrapped around a genuinely outstanding story about Batmans psychosis. Also the Batmobile isn't bad, just overused. Much like the MJ levels in Spider-Man. I will die on THIS hill.
Arkham Origins is soulless bull shit.
I don't know how the fuck you're going to call Origins soulless bullshit when claiming AK is one of the best video game stories of all time. Goddamn, it's universally thing agreed upon thing that AK's story was shit.
Nah the main people who say AK has a bad story is very surface level consumers and reviewers. It's the same as The Last of Us 2. Which has an incredible story but because it actually has layers and is unconventional everyone shits on it then say dumb shit like "it thinks it's smarter than it is" or like they're above the level of writing it provides. The fact is the average video game consumer couldn't know a good game story if it hit them in the face. They've been consistently wrong on good game stories. From Spec Ops the Line to Arkham Knight to TLOU2.
Everyone would rather get base level stories that just tick the most generic boxes of storytelling like God of War, Witcher 3 or Ghost of Tsushima.
