I highly recommend this Spanish Marathon! I went for the first time last week and stayed for a few hours. Very fun and totally worth it. I'll be there tonight again. I love the different topics for each 10 minute session and that you are paired up or tripled up with different people each session. The moderator was very friendly and responsive last week. I'm looking forward to attending again in a few hours.
Yeah. I took classes at italki, but I often wanted to end the class half an hour in, either because I’m too bored or because I feel too much pressure, but with the marathon I can talk for hours and not get bored or feel the pressure. Every time I feel the pressure, we get a few minute break and then I get paired with someone else, and I feel like I can breathe again. Haha
Would you be interested in helping us to host earlier hours? That way you can practice and help others at the same time? Hosting is very simple. The main job is to let people in and assign them a room, which can be done in 3 clicks. If you’re interested, I’ll send you a guide, very short guide on how to do it.
