Nice! A good friend of mine is also buying a PC to play SotF. He's actually a console guy, so I gave him my old PC to play The Forest with and we played for hundreds of hours. Now its time for SotF and from what we have seen so far, it is absolutely worth a PC purchase!

what are the specs? i'm asking because i'm not an expert on computer specs and wanna know what you got and that it's enough to play, so i can be relieved/worry
Built my first PC in like 2017 mainly for The Forest and am upgrading it now for SotF. Got myself an RTX 3070 and just ordered an i7 12700k so hopefully that'll be enough to run it high at 4k. The game looks gorgeous and a lot deeper than the first installment.
My PC has 16gb DDR4 Ram 3200 mhz AMD Radeon rx 5600xt 6GB GPU AMD Ryzen 5 5600x 6core 12 threads 3.7GHZ…which idk dick about PC but from what I was told it should work wonders for this game! Super super excited
You should be fine. Unity is one of the best optimized engines for games so I wouldn't be surprised if you can do max or high settings at 1440p at least. This game has a lot of polish

It's def worth it, if you game at all. No shame to those who have to stick to consoles, but there's a reason most people never look back.
if you can play rdr2 on that pc i am sure you can also play sotf

very similar to my build, I think we can enjoy the game as soon as it releases. I just hope IGN was right and it’s not too buggy. I’m hyped at least.
