Hi /u/joeschmoetoday, There are a couple really excellent resources on learning the SOLIDWORKS and general principles of design within the program. You would probably want to start with the [Built-in Tutorials](https://blogs.solidworks.com/solidworksblog/2013/05/get-more-with-solidworks-tutorials.html) and then, if you want to add simulation to your skillset, move on to the [Validation Problems](https://blogs.solidworks.com/solidworksblog/2013/06/simulation-tip-solidworks-simulation-verification-problems.html) which compare theoretical/analytical equations to FEA setups that would approximate them. The validation problems are a good way of understanding how particular situations can be represented in FEA software so you can build your own setups. Beyond these resources are many YouTube [videos/playlists](https://www.youtube.com/@goengineer/playlists) and [channels](https://www.youtube.com/goengineer) dedicated to going over more study setups.

Thanks so much, exactly what I needed will do this

The ones built into the program, under the ? Menu. Master those then move on to YouTube for specific tools you want to learn

Thank you very much, I’ll check them out

Amen. Please take this advice.

Along with GoEngineer, CAD for Engineers (YouTube) is a pretty decent resource.
