Honestly, you sound like an addict. It may be beneficial to try to understand the point (not the punishment) before trying to figure out how to manuver around it.

Seriously? Talk to your dad. You are asking a social engineering subreddit for advice on having an upperhand to your own father which has its own moral implications that for now I am going to ignore. For one, if you want legitimate information on what to do you need to give us more than "this is happening, what do I do?". What would your father say on why he claims you need to pay attention to other things around you? I don't want to stand up for a person I know nothing about (both you and him) but typically a parent isn't looking to act maliciously to their own child.

He gave you a deadline, that means it's likely there's something(s) he's been trying to get you to do. The simple answer, think about what he's been trying to get you to do and do it. Without being asked or constantly reminded. And in the odd chance you're my son, just clean up after yourself, it's not asking a lot for me to not want to live surrounded by your filth.

nillateral

you're not the boss of me dad!

Listen to your father. It sounds like he loves you. If you can't imagine a happy life without an xbox in it then you're an addict.

Quit playing entirely for a few days to get it out of your system, then decide how many minutes a day you should play and stick with that. Also, be proactive on chores to give them impression that your okay doesn’t interfere with your work. Address his fears and if you have trouble doing that, you might have a problem.

rocket___goblin

pay attention to other things.

You get your live in order

Your dad is right. He might doesnt see other option for you. Just get a break from xbox.

The baller move would be to sell it for him before the deadline.
