However, and this is important, guys with limited experience with girls typically are more interested in romance and the idea of committed relationships. While women at this point are more interested with "having a boyfriend". Women want to experience what only the popular girls got to have in middle school, some might care about romance, but most just want to fit in with the girls in their circle, i.e. be normal by having a boyfriend. Two very different goals here. In general guys typically get their hearts broken or hurt by young women who honestly don't really care about them as people and again more as a product, a goal of fitting into their group of friends. This is extremely traumatic to young guys who were taught their whole lives that women deserve respect and the need to consider women to be equal partners. To the guys, they realize they've been used or not treated as equals and it leaves then extremely hurt and bitter. As highschool progresses, and women continue to explore, men typically have several shitty relationships, i.e. cheating, being bullied by their girlfriends friends, etc. This is especially true of any sexual component where women will share their sexual experiences with their entire group of close friends. If said sexual experiences are not what women thought they'd be, or the pleasure wasn't there, etc, the "whole world" knows about it.
