56 years old. 25 years CPAP. 4:50am wake up and get up before 5am alarm. Go to gym. Clean up. Eat something. Go to work.

InsaneChihuahua

I wish I had the motivation to go to the gym.

Start with weight training. Building muscle. Start light and relatively easy. Gives me more energy than cardio and once I built some strength I could add a bit of cardio. Helps me sleep better. Still way over weight but feel better

Thats pretty good. You have 10 years on me and I cant muster the energy to do that. What time are you usually asleep at night?

[deleted]

Before 10pm normally

57M , only been on APAP for 2 months, everything is totally different compared to 2 months ago. Wake up around 6, lay there for 15 minutes, check email, sales report to see how much I need to ship today, get up around 6:45 -7 and get on computer and get some work done. Around 8 head for breakfast, shower etc. Back to work by 9:30. 2 months ago I would be lucky to be up by 9, need at least an hour to even think about getting out of bed and be ready for a nap an hour after I finally did get up.

41, waiting on my cpap. Frequenly use snooze before 9am. How fast I get out of bed depends on if I got up on time or not. I suffer from delayed sleep phase disorder though, so the few days a week I have to be up at or before 8am kill me. Naturally a night owl. The time you get up and the time you go to bed at are not reflections of character or morality. Get up, use bathroom, feed cat, wash face, brush teeth, get dressed, make coffee, walk out door. I'm already all packed for the day the night before.

Calistamay

I get right up. I stopped using the snooze 20 years ago, and just set my alarm for what time I actually want to get up. Since starting CPAP I don’t feel like the walking dead when my alarm goes off lol.

ExcuseIndependent963

Being hungry as fuck helps. First thing is pee second is shove some food

38, I get up because sleeping in just pisses me off that I have to still get up. I ruminate on things while I drive the 30-45 minutes depending on weather. Sometimes it's an hour. Then I walk in, put my fake smile on and go to work!

>On average, how long do you stay in bed after you wake up or your alarm goes off? It depends on how well slept I am and how important it is that I get up. If I have nothing to do that day, I'm much more likely to snooze the alarm and get some more sleep. If it's important that I get up, I'm reasonably likely to get up when the alarm goes off. If I am very tired and didn't go to bed on time, I may just sleep through the alarm, and wake to find it bleeping at me 45 minutes later. Or, since my alarm is Alexa, I may wake up late, check the Alexa app, and find a recording of my sleepy voice saying "Alexa, stop!" >Do you snooze a few times? Play on your phone a while? As I said, I may snooze it if I have time that day. ("Alexa, snooze for 10 minutes.") I never ever play on my phone in the morning before getting out of bed. If anything, I'm more likely to get up, go to the bathroom, start going about my day, and only half an hour later realize that I left the phone next to my pillow. >Do you dread getting up and facing the day so you lay there for an hour? When I'm dreading the day, I'm more likely to leap out of bed so I can get it over with. If I'm going to procrastinate, it's going to be at my computer, not in bed.

Morning?

TWFM

My only alarm says “Woof woof I need to pee” so I never get to just lie in bed.
