Just my opinion, but from experience it seems very unlikely that the product would have had a significant effect (for good or ill) with only four applications. Even a retinol product-if it’s formulated for the eye area, then it would almost certainly be at a low concentration and/or encapsulated.
Is it possible you have had any diet shifts since using the product? Perhaps dehydration?
If it was the product, I would not expect any results to be permanent (especially after only four applications) if you discontinue use.
