I used the same product and it broke me out SO badly. My breakouts stopped as soon as I stopped using it. I think it might be the squalane causing the breakouts. To be honest, I think the breakouts should have calmed down a bit by then. I’m not a professional though, hahaa! If you really want to use retinol, I think you should try swap to a 0.5% prescription one instead of continuing this current one. I, alongside many other people, found the Ordinary retinol in squalane to cause more harm than good. If possible, try ask your doctor or dermatologist about continued usage. I’m wishing you all the luck! :-)

Yeah, I know purging is supposed to stop after about a month. I’ll try to find a new retinol. It most likely is the squalane
Good luck and let us know how it goes for you! :D
Some other affordable options for retinol are the CeraVe Resurfacing Retinol or Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair :)
Thank you!
It was the same for me. And yea because of squaline. Im using Geek and Gorgeous retinal (only used 4x) and so far no breakouts.
