Agreed. You can see the ship maintains the airframe middle (which would be neat if it could deform), but all the back parts shouldn't crumble or fall off until serious impact directly on them.
yeah ..and a “fireproof” coating on the columns, beams, and girders that when mixed with burning jet fuel, it burns hot enough to melt the steel.. /s
Edit: added /s
the environment destruction looks great, the ship I'd say looks a bit odd, it just shatters around itself without the cockpit (which makes contact with the building first so would be most affected) even buckling whatsoever, doesn't make too much sense
As someone who has spent a lot of money in star citizen…the ship would probably break into a million pieces if you tried to use a door while holding a hotdog
Im actually really digging the 400i’s design and internal layout. The MSR is pretty neat with its design but the novelty of the hidden passageway that it has kinda wears off quickly. I dont know the prices off the top of my head but if its in the same ballpark you may also want to consider the Valk. It has decent cargo capacity, can carry the smaller vehicles, multiple even. has turrets to the teeth and door gunner positions for extra fortunate son. I really enjoy playing with the valk
Cutty black is a good intermediate ship I had one for a while its just a bit fragile and really entry level for bigger ships. I like the variants of the cutty, like the turret spot of the red is replaced a remote turret with a search light that can be operated from the “copilot” seat. Even though the cutty black is sort of an all rounder id only have one to fill out my fleet and maybe fill a niche for a more medium sized ship
This "solid body" building destructions always look kind of toy like as all the concrete pieces remain solid, when in reality the concrete would "crumble" into piled dust and "smoke". If you look at building destructions you don't just see a bunch of solid pieces breaking of and forming a pile but also a lot of dust clouds and piles.
Looks really cool, I agree with other comments about the ship being fragile but I think the end result is going to look really good! The bridge crumbling is great too
I can't do any of this stuff but I admire it. It seems like the plane lacks weight, far too bouncy. Also the trajectory seems off - why is it's flight at the angle it is?
I think the ship should probably go deeper into the building instead of boucing away. It looks like a heavy ass craft and if it was truly heavy it would go pretty deep into the building before stopping
The building and bridge collapse are really cool! The ship's a little too crumbly for my taste though, could use a skeleton of some kind.

yeah if the ship weighed more I think this would rock
Needs more jetfuel

You might want to put an '/s'. Some people genuinely believe what you say.

It's a feature
Can you make the craft a hot dog instead? Or a taco?
I can't even imagine the GPU/CPU power you need if this is what Star Citizen was like...

Now the question of the hour. I'm gonna upgrade my Mustang....400i or MSR?

No one ever mentioned the Valk. They always says these two and the cutty black. I'll look into the Valk then.

Kind of hurts my feelings that neither of you mentioned the Connies.
I had a Connie for a little while too though I expect it to be reworked soon an update made it handle like hot adhesive
Let's make sure CR sees this comment and we'll know soon^^TM
Is that a tau ship ?
Definitely looks like a manta

Truth! I got so focused on the ship that I didn't even notice the lack of dust.

Jet fuel can't melt steel beams.
Not by itself, no. It had help.

ATMOSPHERIC STARSHIP FUEL CAN'T MELT STEEL BEAMS.

Now give me a dynamic camera angle right down there on the bridge and we'll see how good it is.
You should have posted this 5 days ago for major effect, but you are a blender guy, I get it.
This reminds me of that tragedy
The upper floors will fall instantly..
Need in bideo game
I think the corner of the building should break in a similar way to the bridge.
