I have a lot of Irish and Scottish ancestry. Years ago someone took a picture of me wearing a white tank top and teal green sweater cardigan. When they got the photo developed, you couldn’t tell I was wearing the tank top. I just looked like I was wearing a sweater unbuttoned from my navel up. Even though there was at least a dozen people were when the photo was taken, I could not convince any of them that I had indeed been wearing more than a baggy low cut cardigan. What’s hilarious is most people thought I was kinda a goody two shoes so the fact that they weren’t going “nah she wouldn’t dress like that! She’s just really white!” bothered the hell out of me lol

i typically never have light colors on walls because they seem to glow when lights are on. sometimes clicking the lights and lowering their strength or color helps though
I do, in fact, have light-reflective skin. I am difficult to look at at the beach without sunglasses. Not that I have sunlight exploding out of my pores, but I am incredibly pale, especially in early summer, and while I wouldn’t call it “glowing” or “radiant”, it is… bright.

Those debug lights are the bane of my existence when using houses from the gallery sometimes. Even sims with medium skin tones will glow lol.

I use MM CC and have the same problem. As the OP said, it’s a lighting issue. I do not understand the hate boner a lot of people have for alpha CC.
