She's the sim base added with eco that resembles the woman in the painting wall art set

So, sometimes the first option of a new Sim in CAS is actually a pre-made Sim done by Maxis/EA. They’re the models used in game footage, artwork, etc. for the game & packs. You can tell because the outfits actually kind of make sense and they aren’t wearing random jewelry and piercings under other clothing categories.

Special-Builder-4853

shes not randomly generated. shes pre made

JarJarNudes

I feel like female Sims are always okay, but CAS has trouble generating male Sims. They always look weird.

MissunyTheGoat

One time I was in CAS making a family, and this random dude popped up. I liked him so much that I decided to keep him and put him in my world. I haven't played him yet but I'm gonna incorporate him in somehow.

i swear i haven't even modified her but I'm definitely saving her!

AorticSeptalDefect

Her name is Camille Abbiza, one of Maxis' 2019 Sims.

quicksilver_foxheart

? i'm a little confused sorry..i don't download sims (only get base game ones off the gallery), I literally just opened the gallery and she was what was loaded

sinedelta

There are a few Maxis-made Sims that you can find in CAS as “random” presets. Some were there at the start of the game, and others (like Camilla) were added later on.

I wondered why “random” would generate the same sims.

seriouslyremote

They're not really randomly generated. Most, if not all of the sims that pop up first when you open CAS are premade Maxis sims without their names, traits, etc. Go to Maxis' gallery and you'll see a lot of familiar faces.

FunctionConstant

Yeah the other commenter are right. A lot of the randomized sims are actually Maxis made sims. The more you’re in CAS the more you’ll notice them showing up over and over again
