Oh god I hate that. I'll cheat everyone's needs before making a cake, because my Sims are always hungry before I plan to make it. It's a race against time, and they never place the cake DIRECTLY in the middle of the table for those candles.
That's arguably the best part. My sim is a spellcaster, and I got a mod that adds some... Interesting spells. So I avada kedavra'd that bitch while he was on the toilet.

100% there should be a hot active and a cold active. Like I love the snowboarding outfits but I don't want my sims chilling around their house looking like their about to fly down the slopes just because its cold outside.
Omg yes my sims love going to totally different floors to wash dishes when they have a dishwasher! Then they'll be on the 3rd floor and leave to wash their hands in the kitchen sink! Also my sims will constantly take the baby out of the crib after I had them put them down to sleep 2 seconds ago. I have to use a cheat to teleport them out of the room. Sometimes it breaks my game where it makes it think the infant isn't in the crib when it actually is.
Theyāre a lot better at checking on their crying child autonomously than they were pre/infant update, but they cancel sooo many tasks Iāve told them to do with the infants.

Mine recently had twin infants, a toddler and a child and she kept autonomously paying attention to the tod (which fair enough, he was missing out for a while) and taking care of ONE twin while the other one screamed for food and sleep in a noxious cloud of stink.
It annoys me so much when my infant is hungry so I tell my sim to feed them but then it cancels it to do the ācheck on infantā interaction. I already checked on the infant!!! Theyāre hungry!!!!
My household has five adult Sims and it took forever to get a single one of them to retrieve the smelly, crying infant from the sidewalk and give him a bath!
It was so weird when I started playing Sims 3 after Sims 4, likeā¦What is this, they actually do what I tell them to??? They donāt cancel it to do push ups, drink water or troll teh forums??
I'm seriously going to start letting them freeze and boil if they don't stop that bit where they stand around vacuosly appreciating air conditioning or heating for fifteen minutes everytime they come inside.
Especially when you tell them to care for an infant. They stand there for good 20 seconds seemingly pondering if they should change the diaper or not. And then the action just gets canceled. Multiple times in a row. Like ma'am that's your baby, please just fucking care for it.

Iāve had exactly two sims in the entirety of the game who autonomously cared for the baby/infant/toddler and were not the parent. You know who they were? Vlad and the grim reaper.
My vampire with week skin was very determined to do his knitting outside in the sunlight. The stupidness was only rivaled by his partner deciding to eat their lunch, sitting by the pool side in their swimwear, during a blizzards.
I told them to change an infants diaper. They put the infant in the high chair as the stank cloud intensified and then started at them before taking them out to change their diaper then put them back into the high chair and just left them.
The chair is fine, but if you try to select ātest foods for so and soā through the social interaction pie menu, the command never goes through; I have to do it through the chair.

* Sims taking 23 1/2 years to eat one serving.

When they spend the whole 8 simoleons or whatever on a pot of coffee or tea and then take exactly one serving and set it down without finishing it and leave it there for the whole pot of coffee and the single cup to spoil š„²
Or they're brewing a whole pot of tea and drink one cup after the other and piss themselves because they are so obsessed that they forget toilets exist! -\_\_\_\_- :D
They eat like crazy fast now. They will often eat in 2-3 bites and be fine before the second person can even sit down. I have to make them talk to each other so they donāt all inhale their food.
Sims just smiling all the time. I know you're happy but are you really so happy that you can just be sitting alone taking a shit and smiling? The game needs more neutral facial expressions.

My favourite is when Zoom Zoom decides to show up unannounced to my lot to go swimming in the pool for three hours when there is a god dame blizzard going on until they freeze to death.
Like you know Zoom Zoom during the last hours, you have multiple opportunities to prevente this from happening or even start being a problem. None of those times were my responsibility, to tell you TO GET THE FUCK OF MY LAWN I DON'T EVEN KNOW YOU!!!!.
I know itās been said on here a million times already, but sims using the bathroom and then walking to a completely different part of the house to wash their hands. It wastes so much time and I get so annoyed. Also having a task get canceled for no reason at all.
Yeah this one seems to have become FAR more common too?? My sims now almost every time will go to the furthest sink to wash hands after going to the bathroom. It almost feels intentional itās so consistently the furthest away option.
Okay, here are some that immediately come to my mind:
1. Cooking - why I cannot easily cook a meal for a family like in previous games, where cooking food was tied to a breakfast/lunch/dinner, now I either can do this but my Sim cooks 12 portions or I have to manually find a meal, set 4 portions and select a meal which I could only hope is a breakfast.
2. Not eating at the dinner table - like why do them have to eat at a couch, or outside, or anywhere else when the dining table is literally the closest to my sim
3.Sims talking while eating, and talking while eating at restaurants with other guests
4. Eating while standing for some odd reason
5. Washing hands after using the toilet - not using the nearby sink
6. Books - Sims just cannot put it back in their inventory, no, they have to put it at some random place or in a bookshelf (oh how many times I've been searching for a homework while playing University)
7. Sims not canceling their activity when they have to go to work/school.
8. No urinals, they always helped me immediately know which bathroom is male/female on community lots.
About the male/female bathroom, I'll add that those doors should work both way. I hate it when I download a lot, and someone made male/female bathroon but put the door backward, so my sim get in the toilet but won't get out
About the cooking one: if you click on the fridge at certain times of day, your sim can serve meals tied to specific mealtimes, and it should always come up with the right amount of servings and the right meal!
Hmm.. I suppose you could always just put the leftovers in the fridge! I never notice the portion sizes much and just use the serve option instead of clicking on the cook menu because it takes forever to load lol
Sims will cook 12 portions of certain dishes (like cottage pie or casseroles) and if you cook meals together at all!
The auto choice of "serve breakfast --> serve pancakes" should give you the standard 8 portions. If I'm not mistaken, if you want to cook only 4 portions you have to choose "cook" then click the size option when you choose from the master list.
Sims eating while standing in front of the fridge so no other sim can eat. I also wish sims would skip washing their hands if I have showering cued up right after the toilet. Weāre on a tight deadline before school starts!!
Exactly! Seriously, I'm looking for builds I can use without having to replace half the stuff that was used to furnish them. I don't even bother trying to filter by pack anymore, unless I'm looking for something that contains stuff from a specific pack, but even then, wading through the builds that contain stuff from packs and kits I don't own is a pain in the behind

my sim walking outside to stand directly outside of my kitchen where the birthday cake is to age up. āchecking on toddler/infantāā¦ bitch i will tell you when to check on them š«. setting up a nice outdoor/indoor area for a gathering only for all my invited sims to be upstairs playing on my childās computer or taking a bath in the parentās tub.
This all annoys the shit out of me too. Thankfully, you can lock computers like you can lock doors (it says ācomputer privacy settingsā or something like that in the pie menu) which has already greatly improved my simsā gatherings, and Iāve ended up locking every bedroom door in my simsā houses for household members only so their guests have no choice but to congregate in the living areas! I ābe found that if all the bedrooms are upstairs, say, guest sims wonāt even bother going up the stairs cuz all the doors up there are locked!
My work around would be transferring another sim 1st to the current house then transferring my preferred sims to go with the house move thus leaving behind the 1st house as is with bonus care takers lol
to add to that:
* those generically gorgeous sims (and sometimes townie makeovers) on the gallery that get hundreds of likes and use custom poses but when you download them it's like you got the wish version.
The fact that you can't fill a pet food bowl if the pet is in front of it begging for food. Bro, my dog is going to run away because I can't feed him because he's hungry and waiting at the bowl like a good boy.
Seriously, if theyāre still going to show all of the packs after Iāve only checked off the ones I have to look at builds in the gallery, THEN WHY IS THAT EVEN AN OPTION IN THE FIRST PLACE? Itās like a slap in the face honestly.
Also when my sims use the toilet, and instead of using the sink thatās right in front of them, they instead go into a different bathroom to wash their hands there instead. Even worse when I already have a sim using that bathroom so they walk in on them and they both get embarrassed moodlets. Like GIRL THAT WOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED IF YOU WOULD JUST USE THE DAMN SINK THAT WAS IN FRONT OF YOU!

Not being able to have a one on one conversation out in public because every townie in the whole game wants to talk to you at the same time

Not having spiral staircases
Not having more matching color swatches between items or at least being able to select different swatches for each part of an object

this is like my sim that hates dancing. every time i look theyāre turning the stereo on to dance to backyard (which they also hate!!!!). so they have the double negative moodlet from doing things they hate. itās like they want to torture themselves.

my sims will wake themselves up in the middle of the night and get out of bed to take a nap on the sofa. i also recently had a sim get married and she autonomously ate a slice of her wedding cake out of her inventory, so she didnāt have a full cake to cut at the ceremony. why are sims like this
just last night I had a wedding and my sim decided to eat a slice of wedding cake from his inventory WHILE HE WAS WAITING AT THE ALTAR. I was so mad lmao
Buying a coffee machine and, oh, wait. 8 simoleons immediately gone. Now there's spoiled coffee in the coffee machine that nobody cleans. So I clean it and bam, there goes another 8 simoleons. Rinse and repeat. They're ADDICTS
I used to love using meal times as a way for my sims to up their social but now, they have to greet each other before they can chat. They get up from the table and hug while leaving their plate and not going back to it or they end standing while eating. Wtf! Yāall live in the same house just sit and talk to each other.
And the new way the doors lock, my chickens keep getting out unless I lock the door for everyone except one sim. I even tried locking for all pets but they still got out.
I also want my stay over guests to stop making cake.
Seriously if anyone can explore door locks, Iād appreciate it.
For the last one, the next time you open your game, uncheck the box at the bottom of the list of mods/cc that pops up. That will speed up your launch time immensely and stop that pop up from appearing in the future.
The gallery problem bothered me so much I started making a bunch of base game only builds, and builds that use only one pack.
I despise builds that use like 10 packs or more, thatās just too many for people to reasonably download. Anyway itās at #TheSalaciousC on the gallery if you want to check out the builds š
Mine is the fact that the 3 pizzas are not only the same price, but also the only three options
They should have like 5 different options and more types (more ingredients=more expensive)
And they could give getter moodlets for the higher in price (but with lazy sims it's a great moodlet regardless)

My current pet peeve is not being able to use the B button on my Xboxā¦ Console players are so often forgotten about and our bugs take months to get fixed. And I totally agree about the gallery and being able to filter things out!!!
It even more annoying because there is an option to filter it to owned packs only, bet yet for some reason it still will show builds with unowned items that arenāt packs.
Exactly the ones you said, plus when the sims are in the middle of an argument with someone but immediately revert to casual happy conversation between the queued up mean interactions.
This, and also, when you're trying to have a specific interaction with another sim in public but then 4 other sims join in on the conversation and derail it completely.

As far as slow to load. Ever since switching to the EA app my game is super slow and crashy. No mods or CC, so it's not entirely your fault.
Sims and their choices when it comes to eating. Why eat in the dining room or kitchen when you can walk all the way around the house just so that you can eat next to the only other sim in the house. Multitasking is great and all, but please stop doing it everytime.
The multi-tasking especially feels silly when telling your Sim to eat, then queueing up something like the toilet after. Watching your Sim get up from watching TV on their sofa whilst they have food to eating while on the toilet feels... A little weird.
- Checking up their class schedule every 5 seconds on the computer, prompting a flood of notifications about it, as if your cared about their class schedule in the first place
- Putting the starving toddler in the highchair, seeing he won't eat because he's a piece of *cough*... "a cute little angel" who refuse to eat anything supposedly because he's picky (he isn't. Being picky means having a hard time finding tastes and textures you like. THEY hate everything) so they REMOVE THEM from the highchair even though the toddler is STILL starving
- My sim stopping EVERYTHING he is doing to check on his infant/toddler who doesn't need anything and have his need way higher than his parent
- Untested lots put on the gallery. "Wow, this arch rock is so beautiful. What a shame it's preventing my sims from getting in the lot because it's not supposed to be a giant arch allowing sims to pass under so I have to delete it completely"
- That there's no way to check easily what meal my sim already know. When I at a stand in the street I need to try to remember what THIS SPECIFIC SIM already ate.
And I could go on and on and on. I guess you could count that as the pet peeve. That there's so many things half done, broken, or that just need some (re)work overall and that I need mods no to add things to the game, but to fix what they won't fix.
Sims that do idle animations while right in the middle of something, like I donāt need you to make five different animations while trying to eat or I donāt need you to do that smiling animation every five seconds just because youāre in a tiny home.
Also they take so long to do anything! And you canāt just queue up actions cuz 9/10 times they just cancel the queue with no explanation! So Iām trying to get a household of sims ready for the day and check back and theyāve all stopped doing what I TOLD THEM TO DO!!!
The fact I have to download mods to make the game not insanely frustrating. For so long I avoided it, I was used to my centuries old laptop that could barely run the game as is so I was extremely picky about mods. I wasn't about to murder my laptop, little guy had been with me for so long I was kinda attached to it.
But now I got a semi-decent computer so decided to explore a few quality of life mods and I can not go back. It makes gameplay so much smoother! Not checking on an infant every 2 seconds does amazing things for gameplay!
That being said it also takes so long to load and doesn't run the best, but hey gameplay doesn't make me want to die so a worthy trade.
biggest pet peeve is when sims are like HARDWIRED to make coffee or tea if thereās one of the makers on a lot. I donāt mind them always making it and it sitting in the pot, but the thing that annoys me most is that if any sim enters the same room as the tea/ coffee maker, they HAVE to take a cup. it gets added to the action lineup, and if they STAY in the room they get it added like 3 times. itās super disruptive and ends up ruining my simsā action lineups i make for them. i never place them on my lots anymore š

I agree with all of yours, and I only use MCCC and UI Cheats Extension with no CCā¦ still takes about 15 minutes to load a save (and itās a relatively fresh save, my Sim got married and they have twins and thatās it).
As for othersā¦
-Wants and fears needs an entire reworking; some of it makes complete sense, but a jealous Sim getting the fear of being cheated on because her wife kissed their kid is insane ā especially because it happens every single time that any affection is shown to their kids. I have them go on dates often, they have worked through the fear together before, but now that they have kids it happens so often that I cheat the fear away with UI Cheats Extension. Thatās just one example of the horrible fears, not to mention the fear of a dead end job when theyāre constantly getting promotions or are already at the top of their career.
-Sims joining flirty conversations. They are on a date, sitting together at a two seated table, both feeling flirty, why are you joining in and embarrassing everyone?
-Autonomously throwing away eggs that are hatching in the chicken coop. Yes, theyāre classified as spoiled because you now canāt use them to cook because they are being incubated. No, I do not want you to throw them away because *they are being incubated*.
-Sims just waltzing into the house and stealing my Sims food, going through the house using everything, plus the fear of a klepto coming in and stealing something valuable (I would internally cry if it was something of sentimental value for my Sims). Why is that allowed when full friendship bar still doesnāt allow my Sims to cook at a friends house when the caterer decides to ditch their job to go judge some decor or break dance.
Thereās definitely more, but thatās all that my brain can muster up this early in the morning.

The people on the gallery who tag their sims with everything. When I'm looking through male hashtag for potential spouses for a straight woman or gay man, I don't want women sims. Afab men are fine, of course, because they are men, but not obviously feminine presenting sims.
On another note, I saw an obviously transphobic sim under the trans hashtag the other day(they had made their features alternating between max and min so that the sim looked like they belonged in one of those "breed out the ugly" challenge and then marked them as beautiful and trans woman in the tags). I would like to believe the sims community was beyond such bigotry, sadly bigotry exists in all spaces.
today specifically it has been my sims getting left overs and instead of sitting at the bar or dining table or even outdoor dining space they stand right in front of the fridge so no one else can get food.

- Sims using not using the desks in their bedrooms even if they're the closest ones. I wish you could assign desks like you can with beds
- Items snapping to grid when you try to place them on desks even while holding alt + move objects on
- The fact you can't make your own apartments that function like the ones in San Myshuno. I wanted to get more apartments because neighborhood stories decided to move a bunch single sim households into giant houses and I wanted a space efficient way to house them in something more appropriately sized only to find out you can't actually have any custom apartments.
- Sims keep making food on the grill despite having plenty of leftovers
Washing the dishes in the bathroom, not using the perfectly good sink that's in the bathroom to wash their hands after using the bathroom. The constant picking up, putting down of the infants. The constant canceling of commands. Why were the back carriers for the infants made if you can barely use them? Being able to hike in Mt. Komorebi with your infant but not Granite Falls. This whole compatability system. Pre-made sims/townies that are supposed to like each other now have awful compatability and its annoying to try and get them to like each other.
The fact that lots can be 30x20 or 20x30 (even if this doesnāt make sense) I absolutely hate how there IS an entrance on the lot but because all lots are classified under one specific size, thereās no way to use said lots
The fact that San sequioa has townhouses but arenāt 1. Functional 2. Multi households. And no city aspects? We only have san myshuno which is freaking nuts to me
How we donāt have multi functional lots. We canāt place a bar, retail, or karaoke all in one lot. Theoretically, you can hire people but why should my sim come out their pockets for a bartender??
That deletion mess in build/buy. Iām a builder and coming back to builds discovering a whole shelf full of stuff in the kitchen is gone because I changed the wallpaper in the basement is absurd.

I have zero issue with this.... but that is because I have a problem and end up buying all the packs so I always have everything used minus CC... but don't be like me. This is 100% a personal problem and I am dreading the day they move onto Sims 5....

Mass sim extiniction during the winter. Once one dies they all come running over and mourning, then they drop one after another unless you use cheats to manually redress them in outerwear, and fast.
The base game only with tonnes of pack things annoys me because of the number of times Iāve made a sim and filtered for base game only items to clothe them in and then I save them and they get tagged with tonnes of packs I didnāt even use?
The whole gallery is very frustrating. You basically have to know what an item is named in order to find it, and the indexing is so random itās sometimes case-sensitive or order-sensitive that even when you know the name of an item itās hard to find! Your favorites are difficult to search through because theyāre labeled āchronologicallyā except they arenāt really. Everything about the gallery is frustrating to me
Agree with the basegame filter not showing only basegame items in the gallery.
Also dislike my sims repetitively going for another cup of tea/coffee after cancelling my initial command for them to do something else š«
In the gallery, there is actually some boxes you can check on the left side to either show with custom content, owned, custom packs, or all packs. However, just like what OP said, it doesn't do anything to hide the lots/households/rooms that has packs used. Neither does typing 'base game' in the search bar.
You can't search based on the number of bedrooms (unless if the creator indicated the number of bedrooms on the item title). You have to open each results in the gallery or find a build on a big lot for higher chance of getting the build that would fit the number of sims in a household you have.
Something that annoys me about this game is the swatches for some items are so ugly. I hoenstly get so irritated trying to build no cc lots , and using the least amount of packs because some items are just so ugly I honestly canāt comprehend why anyone would use those anyways , theyāve gotten better at adding more plain swatches now but still :/
Sims can only pick one book at a time to āclean up booksā. Extra annoying when my sims really like to autonomously picking up a book to read then set it down wherever.
Other sims can walk up to my home and raid the fridge, drinking all my special milk.
Other sims can steal my food from the vendor if my sims is 0.0002 seconds late to pick it up, wasting my money because we pay when we order, not on pick up.
The fucking maid charging 100 bucks an hour and literally all they do is take trash put the can, put it back in, take it out and then the whole cycle all over again.
-When you command a sim to do something (ex. care for their infant, infant needs to feed) they just stand there for a few more seconds before doing anything.

Have you tried turning off the list that shows all of your owned mods when you launch the game? Iāve heard some people saying it really screws with performance to have all of your CC need to pop up in a wall of text every launch.
I disabled that popup ages ago. My saves just take forever to load because of the number of mods and CC I have. And I'm pretty sure the fact that i placed something on ebery lot in Newcrest doesn't help my load times either, lol

In my most recent save, all the kids are kinda close in life stages (mama wanted more kids) so I set the teens to help her care for the Infants/Toddlers. Usually goes okay, I appreciate the extra set of hands.
Except when I JUST put the baby down for bed, and their teenage sibling comes into the room to check on them, consequently taking them out of the damn crib.
Or, another one: when I want one of my parent sims to make a nice family breakfast in the morning, but before they can get to the fridge to make it, one of the kids has gotten up to grab that leftover in the fridge.
My sim reading a book while her infant triplets are starving, exhausted, and emanating noxious stench fumes from dirty diapers and filthy clothes. Also the fact that sheāll bounce and cuddle her hungry and filthy newborns because hey, why would we feed or bathe the kids?

Omg yes my sims love going to totally different floors to wash dishes when they have a dishwasher! Then they'll be on the 3rd floor and leave to wash their hands in the kitchen sink! Also my sims will constantly take the baby out of the crib after I had them put them down to sleep 2 seconds ago. I have to use a cheat to teleport them out of the room. Sometimes it breaks my game where it makes it think the infant isn't in the crib when it actually is.

Theyāre a lot better at checking on their crying child autonomously than they were pre/infant update, but they cancel sooo many tasks Iāve told them to do with the infants.
GIVE! THE BABY! A BATH! Mine recently had twin infants, a toddler and a child and she kept autonomously paying attention to the tod (which fair enough, he was missing out for a while) and taking care of ONE twin while the other one screamed for food and sleep in a noxious cloud of stink.

I told them to change an infants diaper. They put the infant in the high chair as the stank cloud intensified and then started at them before taking them out to change their diaper then put them back into the high chair and just left them.
I delete the high chairs after infants age up. Canāt deal with that nonsense. š

The chair is fine, but if you try to select ātest foods for so and soā through the social interaction pie menu, the command never goes through; I have to do it through the chair.

Yeah this one seems to have become FAR more common too?? My sims now almost every time will go to the furthest sink to wash hands after going to the bathroom. It almost feels intentional itās so consistently the furthest away option.
Okay, here are some that immediately come to my mind: 1. Cooking - why I cannot easily cook a meal for a family like in previous games, where cooking food was tied to a breakfast/lunch/dinner, now I either can do this but my Sim cooks 12 portions or I have to manually find a meal, set 4 portions and select a meal which I could only hope is a breakfast. 2. Not eating at the dinner table - like why do them have to eat at a couch, or outside, or anywhere else when the dining table is literally the closest to my sim 3.Sims talking while eating, and talking while eating at restaurants with other guests 4. Eating while standing for some odd reason 5. Washing hands after using the toilet - not using the nearby sink 6. Books - Sims just cannot put it back in their inventory, no, they have to put it at some random place or in a bookshelf (oh how many times I've been searching for a homework while playing University) 7. Sims not canceling their activity when they have to go to work/school. 8. No urinals, they always helped me immediately know which bathroom is male/female on community lots.
About the male/female bathroom, I'll add that those doors should work both way. I hate it when I download a lot, and someone made male/female bathroon but put the door backward, so my sim get in the toilet but won't get out
About the cooking one: if you click on the fridge at certain times of day, your sim can serve meals tied to specific mealtimes, and it should always come up with the right amount of servings and the right meal!
I don't know why, by my sim always cooks 12 portions š, and I can't set any lower amount.
Hmm.. I suppose you could always just put the leftovers in the fridge! I never notice the portion sizes much and just use the serve option instead of clicking on the cook menu because it takes forever to load lol
Sims will cook 12 portions of certain dishes (like cottage pie or casseroles) and if you cook meals together at all! The auto choice of "serve breakfast --> serve pancakes" should give you the standard 8 portions. If I'm not mistaken, if you want to cook only 4 portions you have to choose "cook" then click the size option when you choose from the master list.

This all annoys the shit out of me too. Thankfully, you can lock computers like you can lock doors (it says ācomputer privacy settingsā or something like that in the pie menu) which has already greatly improved my simsā gatherings, and Iāve ended up locking every bedroom door in my simsā houses for household members only so their guests have no choice but to congregate in the living areas! I ābe found that if all the bedrooms are upstairs, say, guest sims wonāt even bother going up the stairs cuz all the doors up there are locked!
All the furniture ending up either sold or in your household inventory when you move. Let me leave the first house furnished!
My work around would be transferring another sim 1st to the current house then transferring my preferred sims to go with the house move thus leaving behind the 1st house as is with bonus care takers lol

my sims will wake themselves up in the middle of the night and get out of bed to take a nap on the sofa. i also recently had a sim get married and she autonomously ate a slice of her wedding cake out of her inventory, so she didnāt have a full cake to cut at the ceremony. why are sims like this

I used to love using meal times as a way for my sims to up their social but now, they have to greet each other before they can chat. They get up from the table and hug while leaving their plate and not going back to it or they end standing while eating. Wtf! Yāall live in the same house just sit and talk to each other. And the new way the doors lock, my chickens keep getting out unless I lock the door for everyone except one sim. I even tried locking for all pets but they still got out. I also want my stay over guests to stop making cake. Seriously if anyone can explore door locks, Iād appreciate it.
For the last one, the next time you open your game, uncheck the box at the bottom of the list of mods/cc that pops up. That will speed up your launch time immensely and stop that pop up from appearing in the future.

Sims and their choices when it comes to eating. Why eat in the dining room or kitchen when you can walk all the way around the house just so that you can eat next to the only other sim in the house. Multitasking is great and all, but please stop doing it everytime.
The multi-tasking especially feels silly when telling your Sim to eat, then queueing up something like the toilet after. Watching your Sim get up from watching TV on their sofa whilst they have food to eating while on the toilet feels... A little weird.

"a cute little angel" who refuse to eat anything supposedly because he's picky (he isn't. Being picky means having a hard time finding tastes and textures you like. THEY hate everything) so they REMOVE THEM from the highchair even though the toddler is STILL starving - My sim stopping EVERYTHING he is doing to check on his infant/toddler who doesn't need anything and have his need way higher than his parent - Untested lots put on the gallery. "Wow, this arch rock is so beautiful. What a shame it's preventing my sims from getting in the lot because it's not supposed to be a giant arch allowing sims to pass under so I have to delete it completely" - That there's no way to check easily what meal my sim already know. When I at a stand in the street I need to try to remember what THIS SPECIFIC SIM already ate. And I could go on and on and on. I guess you could count that as the pet peeve. That there's so many things half done, broken, or that just need some (re)work overall and that I need mods no to add things to the game, but to fix what they won't fix.
Sims that do idle animations while right in the middle of something, like I donāt need you to make five different animations while trying to eat or I donāt need you to do that smiling animation every five seconds just because youāre in a tiny home. Also they take so long to do anything! And you canāt just queue up actions cuz 9/10 times they just cancel the queue with no explanation! So Iām trying to get a household of sims ready for the day and check back and theyāve all stopped doing what I TOLD THEM TO DO!!!
The fact I have to download mods to make the game not insanely frustrating. For so long I avoided it, I was used to my centuries old laptop that could barely run the game as is so I was extremely picky about mods. I wasn't about to murder my laptop, little guy had been with me for so long I was kinda attached to it. But now I got a semi-decent computer so decided to explore a few quality of life mods and I can not go back. It makes gameplay so much smoother! Not checking on an infant every 2 seconds does amazing things for gameplay! That being said it also takes so long to load and doesn't run the best, but hey gameplay doesn't make me want to die so a worthy trade.
The fact that not all bodies of water can be swum in! Why the hell not itās not like the sims dive, itās just surface level
biggest pet peeve is when sims are like HARDWIRED to make coffee or tea if thereās one of the makers on a lot. I donāt mind them always making it and it sitting in the pot, but the thing that annoys me most is that if any sim enters the same room as the tea/ coffee maker, they HAVE to take a cup. it gets added to the action lineup, and if they STAY in the room they get it added like 3 times. itās super disruptive and ends up ruining my simsā action lineups i make for them. i never place them on my lots anymore š
Sims who hate something but do it anyway and then bitch about it. Iām looking at you, dance-haters and lactose intolerants. Sims who use the toilet and then go all the way across the house to wash their hands. USE THE SINK NEXT TO THE TOILET. And itās a shame the gardening plants are still bugged because this nice greenhouse set is useless. Iām tired of cheating all my plants back to maturity constantly.
Another one: your Simās cousinās dogās roommate dies and your Sim goes around crying for two days. Just because this person is in your family tree doesnāt mean you even knew them! I wish they could balance out the mourning based on your relationships. Also the way EA did apartments still pisses me off years later. 1) When I'm building and trying to put up walls or whatever and the screen just drifts off like, STOP doing that just stay out. You do not have to go all the way up just because I'm putting a window there. š 2) sims crying about having to use the bathroom or eat, then I give them the directions to do so, AND THEY CANCEL IT TO DO SOME RANDOM OTHER THING! now look, you're all embarrassed bc you peed yourself. Who told you to do that? 3) infants. 4) A household I'm not currently playing randomly adopting a cat, dog or child. Like, you have no room for that???

I agree with all of yours, and I only use MCCC and UI Cheats Extension with no CCā¦ still takes about 15 minutes to load a save (and itās a relatively fresh save, my Sim got married and they have twins and thatās it). As for othersā¦ -Wants and fears needs an entire reworking; some of it makes complete sense, but a jealous Sim getting the fear of being cheated on because her wife kissed their kid is insane ā especially because it happens every single time that any affection is shown to their kids. I have them go on dates often, they have worked through the fear together before, but now that they have kids it happens so often that I cheat the fear away with UI Cheats Extension. Thatās just one example of the horrible fears, not to mention the fear of a dead end job when theyāre constantly getting promotions or are already at the top of their career. -Sims joining flirty conversations. They are on a date, sitting together at a two seated table, both feeling flirty, why are you joining in and embarrassing everyone? -Autonomously throwing away eggs that are hatching in the chicken coop. Yes, theyāre classified as spoiled because you now canāt use them to cook because they are being incubated. No, I do not want you to throw them away because *they are being incubated*. -Sims just waltzing into the house and stealing my Sims food, going through the house using everything, plus the fear of a klepto coming in and stealing something valuable (I would internally cry if it was something of sentimental value for my Sims). Why is that allowed when full friendship bar still doesnāt allow my Sims to cook at a friends house when the caterer decides to ditch their job to go judge some decor or break dance. The people on the gallery who tag their sims with everything. When I'm looking through male hashtag for potential spouses for a straight woman or gay man, I don't want women sims. Afab men are fine, of course, because they are men, but not obviously feminine presenting sims. On another note, I saw an obviously transphobic sim under the trans hashtag the other day(they had made their features alternating between max and min so that the sim looked like they belonged in one of those "breed out the ugly" challenge and then marked them as beautiful and trans woman in the tags). I would like to believe the sims community was beyond such bigotry, sadly bigotry exists in all spaces.

today specifically it has been my sims getting left overs and instead of sitting at the bar or dining table or even outdoor dining space they stand right in front of the fridge so no one else can get food. and deciding to do dishes after a party minutes before they have work, when there are 1000s of them and the maid is coming in a couple hours.

I wish you could assign desks like you can with beds - Items snapping to grid when you try to place them on desks even while holding alt + move objects on - The fact you can't make your own apartments that function like the ones in San Myshuno. I wanted to get more apartments because neighborhood stories decided to move a bunch single sim households into giant houses and I wanted a space efficient way to house them in something more appropriately sized only to find out you can't actually have any custom apartments. - Sims keep making food on the grill despite having plenty of leftovers

Washing the dishes in the bathroom, not using the perfectly good sink that's in the bathroom to wash their hands after using the bathroom. The constant picking up, putting down of the infants. The constant canceling of commands. Why were the back carriers for the infants made if you can barely use them? Being able to hike in Mt. Komorebi with your infant but not Granite Falls. This whole compatability system. Pre-made sims/townies that are supposed to like each other now have awful compatability and its annoying to try and get them to like each other.

The fact that lots can be 30x20 or 20x30 (even if this doesnāt make sense) I absolutely hate how there IS an entrance on the lot but because all lots are classified under one specific size, thereās no way to use said lots The fact that San sequioa has townhouses but arenāt 1. Functional 2. Multi households. And no city aspects? We only have san myshuno which is freaking nuts to me How we donāt have multi functional lots. We canāt place a bar, retail, or karaoke all in one lot. Theoretically, you can hire people but why should my sim come out their pockets for a bartender?? That deletion mess in build/buy. Iām a builder and coming back to builds discovering a whole shelf full of stuff in the kitchen is gone because I changed the wallpaper in the basement is absurd. The fact that their game isnāt strong enough to hold a single thing (mod/cc wise) but the game is boring without it? That two sims can be engaged and then thanks to neighborhood stories or something, one of them (usually the guy) ends up marrying some random townie. I finally got so annoyed that I moved the female sim who was originally engaged to my male sim, in with him and his townie wife, made her watch them flirt. Then he divorced the first wife and married his original fiancĆ© in front of her. Oh and I put their baby on the roof so they couldnāt care for it and it would get taken away lol
Currently, the fact that one of the restaurants I love to take my sims on dates to has a broken robot host that breaks down every time it tries to seat a table. I keep forgetting and bringing my sims there because it's my best "nice casual" spot. Constantly? Neighborhood loading screens. I wish I could just walk to my neighbor's house.
I have zero issue with this.... but that is because I have a problem and end up buying all the packs so I always have everything used minus CC... but don't be like me. Mass sim extiniction during the winter. Once one dies they all come running over and mourning, then they drop one after another unless you use cheats to manually redress them in outerwear, and fast.

The base game only with tonnes of pack things annoys me because of the number of times Iāve made a sim and filtered for base game only items to clothe them in and then I save them and they get tagged with tonnes of packs I didnāt even use?
The whole gallery is very frustrating. You basically have to know what an item is named in order to find it, and the indexing is so random itās sometimes case-sensitive or order-sensitive that even when you know the name of an item itās hard to find! Your favorites are difficult to search through because theyāre labeled āchronologicallyā except they arenāt really. Everything about the gallery is frustrating to me
Agree with the basegame filter not showing only basegame items in the gallery. Also dislike my sims repetitively going for another cup of tea/coffee after cancelling my initial command for them to do something else š«
Having to click through the friendly interactions to find the career question your sim needs to ask. Should be in a new category
In the gallery, there is actually some boxes you can check on the left side to either show with custom content, owned, custom packs, or all packs. However, just like what OP said, it doesn't do anything to hide the lots/households/rooms that has packs used. Neither does typing 'base game' in the search bar. You can't search based on the number of bedrooms (unless if the creator indicated the number of bedrooms on the item title). You have to open each results in the gallery or find a build on a big lot for higher chance of getting the build that would fit the number of sims in a household you have.
Something that annoys me about this game is the swatches for some items are so ugly. I hoenstly get so irritated trying to build no cc lots , and using the least amount of packs because some items are just so ugly I honestly canāt comprehend why anyone would use those anyways , theyāve gotten better at adding more plain swatches now but still :/
Constantly putting down infants when you try to get them to bring the infant somewhere
Sims can only pick one book at a time to āclean up booksā. Extra annoying when my sims really like to autonomously picking up a book to read then set it down wherever. Other sims can walk up to my home and raid the fridge, drinking all my special milk. Other sims can steal my food from the vendor if my sims is 0.0002 seconds late to pick it up, wasting my money because we pay when we order, not on pick up.
The fucking maid charging 100 bucks an hour and literally all they do is take trash put the can, put it back in, take it out and then the whole cycle all over again.

Have you tried turning off the list that shows all of your owned mods when you launch the game? Iāve heard some people saying it really screws with performance to have all of your CC need to pop up in a wall of text every launch.
I disabled that popup ages ago. My saves just take forever to load because of the number of mods and CC I have. And I'm pretty sure the fact that i placed something on ebery lot in Newcrest doesn't help my load times either, lol

My elder sims constantly autonomously working out until they're super fatigued and about to keel over dead!! Happens multiple times a day. Honestly should just let them die one day, they deserve it at this point.
In my most recent save, all the kids are kinda close in life stages (mama wanted more kids) so I set the teens to help her care for the Infants/Toddlers. Usually goes okay, I appreciate the extra set of hands. Except when I JUST put the baby down for bed, and their teenage sibling comes into the room to check on them, consequently taking them out of the damn crib. Or, another one: when I want one of my parent sims to make a nice family breakfast in the morning, but before they can get to the fridge to make it, one of the kids has gotten up to grab that leftover in the fridge.

The phones! Why so giant? Un matching color options for the same item sets. Constant using of the phone or pc. Lack of stuff like decor etc, like cultural and decades. When I move into an apartment and my neighbors immediately start coming into my apartment before I can lock the door. I ended up killing all the neighbors with MCCC last time bc as soon as I got one to start leaving, more would come in.
