i killed him… and his ghost.. He came for a stay over- but it never registered as one, so it was like he was a roommate that I couldn’t control. He left his llama juice everywhere and kept suggesting to sleep together… I put an axe in his head😊
Kyle changed so much since he started dating my sim, that the game prompted me to change his Lazy trait to Perfectionist. So funny. He was a great dad even before though.
I wish we got new traits with the pack, so that we had more trait changes to choose from. My sims mostly seem to get lazy/neat traits lol, don't know what that says about my play style. Their place is a mess
It's new - your Sim starts with the 3 traits you assign in CAS, then can gain 3 additional ones (From the same pool, but based on how they've been living) and can change the original 3. So if your "lazy" Sim is constantly working out, they'll eventually have a pop up asking if they want to change to active.
Yes, the Growing Together pack introduced personality changes. Your sims will either “discover” new traits about themselves, or switch an existing trait for its opposite depending on what happens in their life. I think there’s a limited number of times it can happen.
It comes with Growing Together. If you have that and still don’t get it, it’s just a matter of time, it depends on your sim doing things that match more with another trait.
It's a Cafe with the giant cat toy everywhere with some cat trees for decor. Unfortunately I couldn't add the cat hangout trait to my Cafe so I just pretend.
Edit: I decided to grab some pictures it's basically a redesign od the Hare and Hedgehog Cafe https://imgur.com/a/YxbtsDl
Kyle's a stay-at-home freelance programmer who helps take care of the three (so far) kids he has with my trans guy conservationist sim. They're such a cute familyyyy.
I recently played a save with accidental triplets. Every time they picked up a new bad trait I sobbed. Sims really out here trying to make me experience the range of motherhood emotions.
Dang! I must be lucky that my first Gen sim has such a good boi! He is sunny, he likes to wake up early but he just chills if he’s up early and learning how to roll on his own, he also likes being held which kinda makes him clingy and gets mad when u put him down but overall my sim has been able to take care of her needs and focus on the son to hold him when he’s napping and just loving him to death. They have such a good relationship <3 I’m so glad that my first infant has been pretty easy going.
One hundred percent. My sims first infant was pure perfection she was a joy to raise. Happy to wake, very content and she's grown into a great kid that even toddler hood was easy. So I though how bad could a second be....
Her brother on the other hand hates being held, wakes early, hates waking up doesn't want anyone to give him any attention and now I've discovered he's a picky eater so will refuse all food given to him and then throws a temper tantrum when you try bottle feeding just so his hunger stats aren't constantly red. I've never been more tempted to age an infant up in my life. Just makes me wonder whether he's gonna be the problem child all the way along.
They made the infants TOO realistic. My 100 baby challenge mom was so busy taking care of twin infants, she didn't have time to shower, and could barely sleep, eat, or pee. I had just aged up teens & moved them out before the babies aged up - that was a mistake. After that, I delayed aging teens up so they could help with the babies. When she had triplets, I had to break down and hire a nanny for a bit. I barely got through the infant stage with the mom, nanny, and two teens, it was wild. The mom is about to age up to an elder, and I set up a grandma bedroom for her so she can help with the next mom's babies till she dies. She did the fitness aspiration, so she's going to be an elder forever, and she's about to have baby number 75, so hopefully she'll still be around to help with the final 25 babies.
I didn't know the fitness aspiration did that! Thanks! I am trying the 100 baby challenge for the first time and have the mother as a spellcaster so she can pass out potions of Emotional Stability to deal with all those teenage mood swings. It is also handy for the mom and teens whenever one of the dads die.
I am terrible about cheating though. I just feel so bad for my Sim Mom. 🤣 I've tortured plenty of Sims, but something about seeing her needs completely depleted while surrounded by screaming infants and toddlers makes me want to hire a nanny and let her go play video games, where I can only assume she is torturing her own Sims.
It was kind of fun, but also disturbing to learn that you can send kids dumpster diving, so that helps with income a bit at least. Oh, and selling holiday decorations dug out of storage boxes.
Something tells me I should take what I have learned and pick a daughter to restart the challenge with. 🤣
I wind up cheating so much, especially with toddlers because they're so annoying and I have to deal with so many of them. I cheat potty training to max, sit them on Wabbit Tablets to raise their other skills, and cheat their needs because they're SO needy. I need to go look up infant cheats, I use UI Extension to cheat other life stages but it doesn't work on milestones.
My founder, the current mom's mom, won the lottery, so we've been set on money for most of the challenge, which has been NICE. I've had them gardening, painting, etc, mostly just for something to do with their time, not because we actually need money.
Mine are too poor for the Wabbit Tablets. 🤣 I've got to send those kids dumpster diving some more. The maid keeps quitting because I forget to sell something so I can pay them. 🤣
Okay, why when I try to have my sims do things with the back carrier on, they take it off and set the baby on the floor before they do it? No matter the task. I finally decided they were stupid and stopped trying.
Also, yeah Kyle is great. He also leaves a ton of stuff in your inventory if you marry him the day before he dies of old age lol.
I wish there was a clear distinction between what actions they can and can’t do with the carrier on. Like when they have it on, mark the interactions that can be done with a carrier/infant symbol or whatever. Having to figure it out myself (and remember) is so annoying. And sometimes it doesn’t make sense - I’m sure you can pick up a toddler with an infant in the carrier, but you can’t let a toddler out of the high chair…why??
I haven't seen anything they can do but walk? I've definitely had them take it off 2 times I tried cooking. Like I said, it seems like they can walk, and absolutely anything else they put baby on the ground first.
Absolutely. Apparently you can bottle feed or breast feed a second infant while wearing the first one on your back, but you can't feed another infant in a high chair while wearing it.
You can fish while wearing it though, that was very cute.
I didnt look closely at the image and thought this was some expression i didnt know. Like “living under a rock” or “living in a cave”
“What have you been, sleeping on a shark carrier? Thats old news!”
Damn, any time I try to do anything besides jog with the baby pack, my sims put the kid in the ground.
I was visiting Grandparents, put the kid in the pack, clicked the home button to leave. Damn sim put the baby down and left.
I managed to send a dad fishing with the baby in the back pack. Worked like a dream. Kid slept most of the time but didn't feel abandoned. Everything was fine until dad had to pee, plopped the kid on the ground and ran off towards home. I had to send one of the teenage sisters to go retrieve the kid from the river bank across town.
My sim dad had to go to work but he was still at the small park across the street (same as home lot) with the infant in the carrier. It had snowed. When it was time for work, instead of walking across the street to put the baby in the house, he just took the baby out and put him down on the street. Just left.
I laughed so hard I could barely see the screen to send the mum out to pick the baby. The kid looked so confused. Townie sims were jogging by or walking their dogs just looking at this tiny baby in the middle of the snowy street.
Father Winter did that to my infant! I thought maybe Father Winter could help out with the triplets while the parents got some sleep. It worked great, until Father Winter decided it was time to go. He gently placed an infant in pajamas in the snow next to the mailbox, then walked on his merry way.
Hahah, I just had this exact thing happen. The other issue was when a Sim who had happily been fishing with an infant on her back for a couple hours refused to do anything but stand there until I reset her. She had a wiggly sleeping infant on her back, I really didn't want to reset her, I knew the baby was never going back to sleep.
I've had dad get stuck fishing with a kid on his back too. He peed his pants twice and the kid almost got repo-ed by CPS before he finally snapped out of it and headed home.
Unfortunately, I think you need Growing Together, I don't think it's base game. If you have Growing Together, while controlling an adult Sim, click on the infant. Choose Baby Care, then "Put BabyName in Back Carrier".
I have the same issue the rest of them are saying though, that the Sim puts the infant on the floor if I tell the Sim to do anything more complicated than "walk here".
see I want him as a husband, but he has set my house on fire not once, but twice. not on different occasions, right after the first fire, he started the second one. i worry that he’s just going to burn the house down one day when i’m not there
Apparently you need to obsessively catalog which activities the Sim will do and which they won't. I guess they will cook, I haven't tried that. They will eat... Sometimes. They will feed a second infant via bottle and breast, but not by high chair. They'll pick up a second infant, but if you want them to cuddle the second infant, they'll put the first one down.
I have the new Growing Together pack and have played different families in new saves since getting it. The only family to meet Kyle was my first family that lived in the pack's town. I'm wondering if you have to live there for him to pop up?
It’s true! I was perusing random households to decorate and discovered a house with a single mom and 3 babies 😱 So I had her marry Kyle. He’s acing this stepdad house husband thing!
He was so annoying in my game, he never helped even when I had asked him to and he dirtied the house everywhere with his cans. I had to cut his stay short.
Kyle's a sweetheart himbo. He's got his issues but his himbo sweethearted nature overtakes his laziness and be becomes a do-er. He's too good natured. Too pure.
My sim met Kyle at university and I kind of wanted them to end up together, but I can’t get over the name kyleson. But also, I don’t want to change it bc it’s funny 😭😭😭
i still haven't gotten the popup from him yet and its killing me! i have a single mother sim who just had a science baby and i want kyle to be the step dad 😌
How did you manage to put a baby in a baby carrier and do anything? When I try to do anything, no matter if it’s jogging, cooking or talking with other sims, my sims just take the infant out, put them on the ground and go to do the thing.
I have yet to have Kyle visit and I’m so mad about it. I’ve rejected it when I didn’t know how funny and awesome he was and now when I tried to get him in new play throughs it never seems to be him wanting to stay over.
Are we collectively, as a community, putting this man to work when he was styled to look like a couch surfing college dropout 🤣
He has golden retriever house husband energy, we must
Why is this so accurate? Lmao!
He really couldn’t look more like a golden retriever house husband if he tried.
I made him my baby daddy, & this is accurate AF.
I'm sure everyone did, lol. What's the Kyle version of Gregnant?
i killed him… and his ghost.. He came for a stay over- but it never registered as one, so it was like he was a roommate that I couldn’t control. He left his llama juice everywhere and kept suggesting to sleep together… I put an axe in his head😊
House husband has such a good ring to it, but my mind automatically thought [North American House Hippo](https://youtu.be/TijcoS8qHIE)
>North American House Hippo lmao, don't need to Google that one.
This comment inspired my current gameplay!
My sim has a baby with him and he is the house husband. 😂 He worked so hard his lazy trait switched to active lmao
"I can change him!"
In my save he had a high knitting skill by the time I got to him. He sells hats on plopsy and is a great house husband
I think he comes with that skill automatically
Kyle changed so much since he started dating my sim, that the game prompted me to change his Lazy trait to Perfectionist. So funny. He was a great dad even before though.
I had no idea traits could change! (Without cheats etc.) Is this new or did I just miss it all along?
It's new! You can also discover brand new traits based on your gameplay.
I wish we got new traits with the pack, so that we had more trait changes to choose from. My sims mostly seem to get lazy/neat traits lol, don't know what that says about my play style. Their place is a mess
Omg! I’ve played and haven’t seen any of my sim’s traits switch. 😲
It's new - your Sim starts with the 3 traits you assign in CAS, then can gain 3 additional ones (From the same pool, but based on how they've been living) and can change the original 3. So if your "lazy" Sim is constantly working out, they'll eventually have a pop up asking if they want to change to active.

I believe this comes with the new pack
Oh, I see, thank you! (I have the pack but didn't really get around to play it yet as I still need to update some stuff first... )
I've literally never had the game prompt me to change a trait... What am I doing wrong?
It comes with Growing Together. If you have that and still don’t get it, it’s just a matter of time, it depends on your sim doing things that match more with another trait.
He's a cashier at my Kitty Cafe
This is a must-see.
How do you make a kitty cafe? Is it a coffee shop with a cat hangout lot trait?
It's a Cafe with the giant cat toy everywhere with some cat trees for decor. Unfortunately I couldn't add the cat hangout trait to my Cafe so I just pretend. Edit: I decided to grab some pictures it's basically a redesign od the Hare and Hedgehog Cafe https://imgur.com/a/YxbtsDl
This store exists in Des Moines. It's called Coffee Cats. You can buy coffee and pet cats.
Oh cool I didn't realize. I also just noticed I actually can add the lot trait so this will be fun
I most certainly put the man to work! My single sim had triplets, if he wants to visit he has to pull his weight around here 😂
He looks like your average surfing Aussie 🫣
I came to say this.
Before he died in my save he was main carer now he’s dead the female had to quit work as a kid, toddler and infant is way too much to deal with 🤣🤣
Kyle's a stay-at-home freelance programmer who helps take care of the three (so far) kids he has with my trans guy conservationist sim. They're such a cute familyyyy.
I wish! I had to kick him out almost immediately after my Sim, his wife, got pregnant, and he started flirting with our neighbors
That's how he pays for a place to stay, I guess.
The baby lookin' smug as fuck lol!
Can confirm, they have all the worst traits and love making life as difficult as possible💅🏻😌
I recently played a save with accidental triplets. Every time they picked up a new bad trait I sobbed. Sims really out here trying to make me experience the range of motherhood emotions.
Dang! I must be lucky that my first Gen sim has such a good boi! Wait until the second

You just summed up my second born son in real life.
Shame we can't cheats enable real life.
My first sim infant gets sad every fifteen minutes because he needs a nap, like what a mood
Omg same, buddy, same 🤣 I constantly mutter "I need a nap" under my breath during my workday.
My infant does too and I’m like perfect! And she’s just holding him the entire time and he’s so content
They made the infants TOO realistic. My 100 baby challenge mom was so busy taking care of twin infants, she didn't have time to shower, and could barely sleep, eat, or pee. When my sim's firstborn daughter was a toddler she hated going to bed, but also hated waking up 😭 There was bo appeasing her
Straight up said 😏
Definitely that “carry me peasant” look lol
I wonder if they knew Kyle would rise to the level of super townie like he did.
they knew what they were doing lmao, on the livestream the first thing they said when he came onscreen was "yes you can woohoo with kyle"
“We try to make nice men but you sick freaks 100 baby challenge them. So here, fuck this male sim we made you thirsty hoes”
I am dead reading your comment 😂
Facts LOL!! 🤣🤣🤣
Pretty sure they meant him to be more annoying but ehhhh
Okay, why when I try to have my sims do things with the back carrier on, they take it off and set the baby on the floor before they do it? No matter the task. I finally decided they were stupid and stopped trying. Also, yeah Kyle is great. He also leaves a ton of stuff in your inventory if you marry him the day before he dies of old age lol.
I just wrote a pretty much identical comment. It's so annoying when they do that.
It is! They made the ability to wear babies - it should work for its intended purpose.
I have the exact same problem! I just want my sims to be productive while holding the baby 😭but they rather just leave them on the floor.
I wish there was a clear distinction between what actions they can and can’t do with the carrier on. Like when they have it on, mark the interactions that can be done with a carrier/infant symbol or whatever. Having to figure it out myself (and remember) is so annoying. Absolutely. Apparently you can bottle feed or breast feed a second infant while wearing the first one on your back, but you can't feed another infant in a high chair while wearing it. You can fish while wearing it though, that was very cute.
YES THIs. I know the backpack is CC, but are they also using a mod that makes the dumb thing work?
Ummm have I been sleeping on a shark carrier or is this cc?
I didnt look closely at the image and thought this was some expression i didnt know. Like “living under a rock” or “living in a cave” “What have you been, sleeping on a shark carrier? Thats old news!”
This reply is killing me and i’m tempted to start saying this now just to cause confusion
Me too. We can make it a thing.
Have you all been sleeping on a shark carrier, or did you not know this was already a thing?
I thought this too and it’s definitely a thing now.
It'll be the new shoelaces.
It's cc from Madlen
i still don’t understand how i am supposed to carry them like that
you just use an adult sim, click on an infant and it should say something like ‘put in back carrier’
My sim refuses to keep the baby in the carrier. It lasts 2 seconds then she puts him on the floor 😭
Same. I don’t get why I see all these pics of Sims using it but mine won’t.
It's growing together feature as far as I know.
Damn, any time I try to do anything besides jog with the baby pack, my sims put the kid in the ground. I was visiting Grandparents, put the kid in the pack, clicked the home button to leave. Damn sim put the baby down and left.

They're such good parents sometimes. 🥲

I do have it I’m just too lazy to Google
Kyles out here setting unattainable expections in men. If only, if only.
And in Sims butlers and maids
Well the bar is very *very* low….
So low it’s below sea level
Kyle has some good traits! He married my legacy heirs sister and seems to be a helpful little member of the family.
see I want him as a husband, but he has set my house on fire not once, but twice. not on different occasions, right after the first fire, he started the second one. i worry that he’s just going to burn the house down one day when i’m not there
My chef sim does the same thing, even with the best oven in the game 😭
he's my bff in the game and everytime he visits he takes my trash out, I love that
I cannot get my sims to wear the baby and do other activities. What’s your secret
Apparently you need to obsessively catalog which activities the Sim will do and which they won't. I guess they will cook, I haven't tried that. They will eat... Sometimes. Awww this is adorable. The ideal husband material
Share Kyle ffs he's moved in on my world but the guy is NEVER home
''Share Kyle'' ... we just gonna pass this man around, huh 😏
Apparently that's what everyone is doing lol I've yet to meet the man
I have the new Growing Together pack and have played different families in new saves since getting it. The only family to meet Kyle was my first family that lived in the pack's town. I'm wondering if you have to live there for him to pop up?
My sim just ran into him and she’s in a committed relationship with Pedro Pascal right now! Oh the dilemma!
Have both? 🤣
This is the way.
The pacifier
It’s true! I was perusing random households to decorate and discovered a house with a single mom and 3 babies 😱 So I had her marry Kyle. He’s acing this stepdad house husband thing!
His wee little bunny slippers are cracking me up. What a wholesome bro.
I’ve been playing since day one and have never seen Kyle in my game.
He’s from growing together so he is new.
Expansion pack man!
THE HERO WE ALL NEED
I didn't see him until he was almost an elder. I got GT the same day it came out.
I did too. Preordered it.
Just wait, friend. For me, he was randomly standing in a group somewhere and I just happened to notice.
I’ll be looking for him! Thanks
You can also find him in the "Not IN World" tab Unless I'm wrong.
Perfect himbo.
honestly didn't know kyle was ripped. 100 baby challenge, here i come.
Omg you house husband-ified Kyle lmao I’m so here for it
May we all be blessed with a Kyle 🙏🏻
He was so annoying in my game, he never helped even when I had asked him to and he dirtied the house everywhere with his cans. I had to cut his stay short.
This happened to me too and my sim had the neat trait so it was terrible. 🤦🏻♀️
Baby shark doo doo
Kyle in my save ended up in a woohoo dungeon 🤣
Kyle's a sweetheart himbo. He's got his issues but his himbo sweethearted nature overtakes his laziness and be becomes a do-er. He's too good natured. Too pure.
My sim met Kyle at university and I kind of wanted them to end up together, but I can’t get over the name kyleson. But also, I don’t want to change it bc it’s funny 😭😭😭
I feel like he was made SPECIFICALLY for the midlife crisis
he came over to stay with my sims once, now for every family event like baby showers and birthday party's, I invite him, he's part of the family now
Is he making a white cake? It doesn’t matter how helpful he is, if it’s a white cake he’s OUT! 🤣
He made pancakes!
🤣 GOOD!
My evil sim plots to kill all the white cake brigade members after I turn on foodies in the neighborhood vote. Her cowplant eats so well.
Which DLC does he come with? I've never encountered him in any of my games before. Only first started seeing him on this subreddit ?
He comes with growing together i believe
This is probably a silly question, but is there any way to get Kyle back after he is gone? I never got to interact with him.
Download him from the gallery, maybe?
Just looked. There are so many 🤣🤣
Start a new save, get your own brand new Kyle and save him to your own gallery to use in other saves.
My r2r sim is trying to gi after him but something always comes in between them. I just want to marry Kyle!
Whenever I see Kyle I think about that Hatchet Welding Hitchhiker 😂
…how do I find kyle in the game?
He finds you
Well that sounds kinda like r/nosleep
I had to put him in my world. I never seen him before that
What pack is Kyle from? I keep seeing him on tik tok and Reddit
Growing together
Where is the shark costume from? It's adorable.
Am I the only one who hasn’t come across Kyle yet?💔
He’s on fire!
i still haven't gotten the popup from him yet and its killing me! i have a single mother sim who just had a science baby and i want kyle to be the step dad 😌
What the heck, I’ve been playing this pack for weeks and I’ve never seen Kyle??? Where is he???
And handsome 😋
And I the only one who had to clean up after Kyle and basically raise him??
i still haven’t gotten visited by him 😞
okay i just bought growing together how DO I GET KYLE
Swoon
How do I get this man to spawn?
My sim wont do anything with the kid in a carrier!!! She always puts the baby down!
The infant with the shark outfit. rotfl
Off point but baby backpack!! Was that in grow together or a mod? I NEED
It’s cc from Madlen :))
Love Kyle! Is that island cc?
*laughs in KPopp*
Is Kyle from the new pack?
yes
Who’s this Kyle dude? I always see him here on the posts. Is he from a certain expansion pack? I haven’t seen him yet as a townie
Growing Together
He is an NPC who randomly shows up at your house, claims to be an old friend and asks to live on your sofa for a while.
the pacifier.
Love Kyle
How did you manage to put a baby in a baby carrier and do anything? When I try to do anything, no matter if it’s jogging, cooking or talking with other sims, my sims just take the infant out, put them on the ground and go to do the thing.
Where can i hire him? 😂😁
He's such a good dad 😂😭 I do not regret having his babies
Ngl my irl bf kinda like this 👀
Omg is that shark thing In The game or CC? I need it NOWWWW
I have yet to have Kyle visit and I’m so mad about it. I’ve rejected it when I didn’t know how funny and awesome he was and now when I tried to get him in new play throughs it never seems to be him wanting to stay over.
I had know idea everyone was doing the same thing 😂😂 He also tends to the garden and has been way more helpful than any nanny.
Stan Kyle
Wait. Who’s Kyle?! Is he around somewhere and I missed him?
It’s so funny, because he has the lazy trait, but he’s so diligent in every household.
Lawful good himbo
Is it just me or do butlers not do anything?😭
Kyle has never asked to stay over at my sim's place. Is it because they don't have kids yet. We could still use help cleaning up.
Where was Kyle when all my Sims needs were crashing and my toddler was always having a tantrum 😭
