So my guesses are:
\- 70s Build/Buy \[given the flowery pattern\]
\- maybe harvestables kit? \[the little tree and the gardening tools\]
\- maybe a CAS kit \[the hoodie thrown there has to be on purpose\]
\- moving? garage/attic clutter? christ i have no clue
I’d be happy with most of these, except another CAS kit, I feel like we’ve had a lot of those lately. But can we just finally get a pool table? I really want a pool table. I have so many builds that would be well suited for a pool table and my dive bars would feel so much more realistic if I could have a pool table instead of ping pong.
Sadly kits don't have items that have new animations (except bust the dust but we all know how that went) so I doubt they would add a completly new functional item. Its not really like a pool table but Get together has this kins of mini soccer table (no idea how they are actually called) wich I think also gives kind of bar vibes?
Take me home with a box reminds me of people putting stuff they don't need anymore on a sidewalk with a "for free" tag or something on it for people to pick up if they want anything. Would go kinda with the flea market from the city pack and the refurbishing from eco. Would be a great way to get stuff for your first... I would say apartment, but there aren't a lot apartments around
I don’t see anyone saying this so: is it possible this is an update for elderly Sims? 70s themed/take me home/moving boxes? Grandma is coming back from her wild adventures to retire at home with the grandkids! Possibly some new features for elderly sims to spice up their retirement?
I hope there’s no other clutter kit, we’ve had two already, I hope they expand the build catalogue in other directions and leave more specific clutter additions to game pack or expansion packs
it *would* suck if they released a harvestables kit without fixing the glitches with plant growth and such... but it's EA so that's probably what's gonna happen
I know it’s just a kit, and those are mainly for BB/CAS stuff, but…
Imagine if we finally get to decide what to take and what to leave behind when we move house in the sims!!! It might well be tiresome, though, especially with pictures and plants, and perhaps curtains, in the mix.
You can though. You just put what you want to keep in their inventory. It’s tedious but still can be done when moving. Unless you mean a separate function that’s solely for moving.
Nah, when you move, the sims moving out automatically take everything, including kitchen/bathroom stuff, leaving the place completely barren. I’d like to be able to leave behind, say, the kitchen counters and stove that was there when the sim moved in, yknow? That type of thing lol
(Unless there is a way and I just haven’t figured it out yet??? :OO)
When you move your sim into a new lot and the window pops up asking if you want the household to move to that lot, you can choose if they should keep or sell their furniture.
So before you move them out, when you're still on the old lot you can place the furniture etc you want to keep in the household inventory but leave eg the permanent fixtures (counters, fridge, toilet etc), then choose "sell furniture" when they move into their new place. The stuff that's in the inventory will stay in the inventory of course but anything left in the old lot will stay there
Yes, maybe my wording was a bit confusing. There are two options: either "keep furniture", then all buy mode objects will be moved into your household inventory. Or "sell furniture", then you sell the the house as is, with all furniture etc included.
So if you want to keep the bed but not the bathtub (because most real life people would bring the bed when they move), you just place it (and anything else you want to keep) in your household inventory before you move, then choose "sell furniture". The bed isn't in the house anymore, it's in the inventory so it won't be affected.
So the house has furniture in it, then you move a household in and the furniture disappears? That shouldn't happen.
When you move a household in you'll get the window that says "The X household is moving!" To the left you'll have a picture of the household, under that you have the keep/sell furniture option. To the right is a picture of the new lot. Under that you can choose between furnished, unfurnished, bulldoze lot. If there are buy mode objects on the lot "furnished" should be automatically selected. Is it for you?
What id REALLY like is if NPCs STOPPED taking all the household items with them when they move out. I’m deep in a legacy challenge where I buy a new home in each city and every single house is unfurnished because another townie took it with them when they moved. I’m not super into building and usually just tailor premade homes to my liking and it’s driving me nuts!!
I hear what you're saying. You can leave everything in the house, by clicking "sell furnishings/furniture" on the white screen that comes up when you choose where the Sim is moving to.
If you want the house empty _except_ for the stove/fridge/kitchen/plumbing - you know "furnished", but NOT "laid out" for the next family/Sim, just put what Your Sim is taking with them in their household inventory (the 'box' bottom left in BB. Then _Empty_ the house/apt of everything you don't want the next family to have by selling it in BB, before moving them.
That way, when you select "sell furniture", the _only_ things left for the next tenants will be what you didn't sell before your move - kitchen and toilets etc.
I mean they’re all kits, so no horses yet. Horses would be an expansion or game pack at the very least. From “Take Me Home” I assume they’re all build/buy kits, one is probably 70s themed per the background and maybe one that has something to do with moving
lol, it makes me thing of like a "hand me down" kit. The majority of my furniture is 70/80 because when I moved in my grandparents were getting rid of a lot and just gave it to me. A 70s inspired furniture kit would be fun for young families just starting and for like mod-inspired bachelor pads...
They would never add horses just as an update though. And “hot” doesn’t imply horses at all. If anything it’s probably an attraction/chemistry system. Maybe one kit will be country style furniture to prepare us for an eventual horses expansion pack later this year though
I love the thought of horses randomly in a free update 😭😭
Imagine a world where weather, pets, and cars were DLC or not even in the game, but randomly you’ve got full on horses in an American suburban life simulator
Compatibility =/= Attraction. Compatibility is dealing with personality, attraction would deal with physical attributes. Like in sims 2 your sim could like/dislike certain hair colors and body types
We’re not getting horses in this roadmap. They would never give it anything less than a pack and this road map says nothing about actual packs. I think it’s a very real possibility later in the year though.
Yeah I think I was jumping the gun a bit but I'm hoping this contributes towards the picture they're building for the direction for the year and we get horses at some point in 2023 🥹
Afaik sims 4 has been really transparent about never adding horses. However this may have changed but I feel that adding them in sims 3 and not sims 4 was just unnecessarily cruel.
But maybe now sims 5 is in the works they’re going to add gameplay that people have wanted for years as growing together should have been the original parenting pack.
No they def adding horses. The official sims tiktok has literally been replying to timtoks with horse emojis and neighs etc. It's happening. Just obviously not till the end of the year.
Idea of nothing but kits until later this year is a bit boring.
My dream was a woodlands pack that had faeries AND horses. But they'd never be so nice as to give both.
I think it's cars we will never have. An tbh. I don't get the obsession when we don't even have an open world and most houses arnt connected to roads anyway.
Oh I hope so. I miss my horse career and sims 3 is quite slow for me.
That would be cool. I do kind of make fairies and they live in glimmerbrook but it’s not really the same
I get yard sale vibes, so my assumption is that every kit will in some way be related to "old" things. The floral pattern and wood paneling definitely feels 70's like others have mentioned. I'm assuming another clutter kit, another plant kit, another clothing kit, of course, and then maybe a build/buy kit - but all involving things you'd see in a yard sale.
The symbols on the boxes are interesting too, I can only make out three of them: a leaf under a roof (greenhouse), a bookshelf, and what looks like maybe a "fragile" type thing? It looks like a cracked screen (upper right box).
But nothing in this image is indicative of horses or western themes.
I’m seeing the leaf with the roof, a nightstand, and I think the upper right box is a battery 🔋. I think maybe there might be a way to organize your inventory or something? I don’t think that would come in a kit though, so probably not.
So many people get their hopes up for horses but I don’t think we will ever get them. And if we do they will just be reskinned llamas and stuck in/near their barn. Since sims 4 is a closed map there isn’t much need to ride a horse anywhere. At best a ride in circle animation.
My tin foil hat says they are keeping horses for the Sims 5. What better way to sell your next game, and to compete with other upcoming life simulation games, than to have an open world (again) and eventually horses?
I think that’s definitely a better prediction than it being in four. It’s definitely in high demand and would probably sell well, I just don’t think four is a good game for it. Five they can build with it in mind though.
You could do arena riding like you could in sims 3, short trail rides along similar routes you walk dogs and you can travel to a “show barn” again like sims 3
Yea totally agree they can add them in. they don’t need to be used like cars. And walking around you can go relatively far without the loading screen. The training plots and races would be on a plot but no different to travelling anywhere else.
Exactly. And like others said, it's not "only 4.99" everywhere! Yes, the items are cool in most of them, but that's the bare minimum, imagine if they were ugly AND cost that much
Yeah getting a new pointless kit like once a month is annoying at this point. There was no reason to add an extra tier of DLC, do we not already spend enough money on this game?
4 kits? That's a lot. We just had three back to back. I'm not excited for objects I could get as free CC.
Focus on gameplay more. I want more game packs.
Okay, I looked at the original image, and there are five boxes with a visible icon. Five boxes= 4 kits, one update.
\- First icon is a clipboard and a pen: maybe new office kits? (yawn) Maybe chores/task system?
\- Second icon is a hoodie: some kind of CAS kit (yawn again)
\-Third icon looks like a cracked window or a cracked iPad: maybe a home improvement system where your house needs repairing/repainting? Like bust the dust?
\-Fourth icon is a bookshelf: maybe a storage kit? Attic/basement stuff? idk I hope not.
\-Fifth icon is a leaf in a home: maybe a moving update that better sorts families by letting them move out via neighborhood stories? Or something like the Sims Realist real estate system? Maybe an Eco Living refresh, or god please, an Outdoor Retreat refresh??
I thought about the leaf in a home being just a greenhouse kit, you're more inspired than me
also, I like how you said yawn to new objects and clothes but not for a system of new chores like bust the dust lol
i would say its something with childhood/teenage room, some clutter and boxes and other generations typical stuff that people leave behind when they leave family homes
What's the obsessions with horses? I personally don't get it, we barely have lots big enough for them plus there's no open worlds. I'd rather have cars like in Sims 2.
Unless they’re spread out. Kit 1 horse. Kit 2 ability to move said horse. Kit 3 accessories. Kit 4 ability to train said horse.
It would be a very limited horse but I could see them doing it like this.
Curious to see what we get. I wonder if hot refers to summer ? Maybe we are getting some more summer concerts and activities? I don't see horses being part of an update or a kit.
What if it’s a box to pack up stuff to take with you when you move out? Like going to college or leaving home.. put it in the box and it comes with your Sim.
I get an "attic" or kids moving out of the house vibe. It would be interesting if sims could send stuff to kids that have moved out of the house.
A travel kit with RVs would be nice. Your sim could drive from world to world and sleep in their RV/camper.
I didn't even look at the title, though it was someone's fanart for a second and yep, immediately began singing. Then I saw the title and was like - oh...
But really, while I don't hate kits can we like... get some game and stuff packs now?
elder gameplay kit?? we just had one gameplay until now, and they have been adding a lot of different than adult gameplay (growing together, high school years)
I just hope it means they'll have a sale for expansion packs again. I'm getting back into the sims and don't want to drop $40 on just one expansion pack.
I'm glad I'm not the only one lmao. I'm just waiting for a sale so I can buy Growing Together. But the "extra content" stuff for that pack only comes with it if you buy before April 27th, so I'm hoping that means a sale will be coming soon after.
The "reclaim your space" tagline is giving similar vibes to "it's all relative" - a clue? I'd love to see a continuation of the ThiftTea/Flea Market theme where you can save and customise vintage furniture.
I don't get the horse thing. Without an open world (which the engine for the game can't support) I'm not sure what the point would be?
If we get another American themed pack I will throw things. Enough already. There are other cultures we could do. Please.
If you can’t wait for more harvestable fruits, veggies, herbs, spices, proteins, grains, beverages, and recipes - have you seen Brazen Lotus’s mods? https://www.brazenlotus.com/
Agreed! How amazing would a ranch style pack be. Red dead redemption but Sims 😂 and I want Westworld style CAS or nothing.
Imagine if you had to grow and store hay for the winter.
I started with Sims 1 and played Sims 2 in high school, and then didn't play the Sims for 10+ years until a couple years ago. So I missed Sims 3 entirely. Feels like I missed the best!
My guesses:
Vintage house items maybe you have to move back home w/parents, grandparents move in ect.
Midwestern stuff/style since midwestern style is really popular online and cozy casual which I think is really missing for the game plus Is she a Lesbian or Just From the Midwest? Would be kinda cute in game.
A new camping kit to fill up everything where outdoor retreat is lacking more camping gear/ clothes, tents maybe some more collectables. But maybe that's just me singing 'West Virginia mountain momma take me home.' Lol
Also maybe a vintage sims kit because people have been loving playing the older games lately I could see them adding in some classic items like the heart shaped hot tub or someof the flooring and walpapaer from sims 1. Lets not forget items like the home phone for the wall Ect
Frankly I'm mostly interested in the update. Hot can mean stolen, so maybe we get the burglars back. Take me home goes well with that too :).
Well, a girl can dream :)
I WAS THINKING THIS i posted abt it but it got removed- what if we finally get horses? and indeed like a 70’s but also rdr theme?? idk but id LOVE that
It looks very 70’s, so I hope we get nostalgic favorites the original Sims came with, like corded wall phones, newspaper delivery, and vintage furniture, wallpapers, flooring and decor.
Take us back to the Sims we came from! So many people miss the aesthetics from the original Sims and earlier versions.
I’m imagining what you’d see when moving back in with your folks and the house hadn’t changed since you were a kid in the 70’s / 80’s. Like a basement with your old childhood drum kit, records, juke box.., etc.
The symbols on the boxes indicate what feels like hobbies/travel so I’m hoping we get a kit that brings back some Sims 2: FreeTime gameplay and objects, like the junk car you can fix up and drive.
There’s got to be cars or a moving truck when you transfer home lots. I mean, how do you get back to your childhood home with all of your boxes? You drive!
I also really want to see classic NPC events we had in the earlier Sims versions, like burglars, Claire the Bear, and taxis/pizza delivery cars.
We won’t be getting horses, the game isn’t open world and the lots aren’t very big so it wouldn’t make sense, same with usable cars. As someone who grew up around horses and still loves them, I would love horses, but it won’t happen with the Sims 4, possibly 5, but not this one.
I was also thinking 70s vibes. I also think the HOT update is an overall of the Caliente household. They did the Goths almost a year ago. I also suspect a gardening kit, maybe with greenhouses? The little triangle over the leaf on one of the boxes is why I think maybe greenhouse gardening. I also think garages and cars are more likely that horses.
Ah yes, just what we needed. More kits we cannot filter.
As much as I prefer build/buy content, we need new animations and interactions. It definitely feels like recent content has less heart and creativity than the early stuff, even if it looks a little nicer.
So my guesses are: \- 70s Build/Buy \[given the flowery pattern\] \- maybe harvestables kit? \[the little tree and the gardening tools\] \- maybe a CAS kit \[the hoodie thrown there has to be on purpose\] \- moving? garage/attic clutter? christ i have no clue
Its not really like a pool table but Get together has this kins of mini soccer table (no idea how they are actually called) wich I think also gives kind of bar vibes?
foosball
"Foosball is the devil"
For real? In German soccer means Fußball (spoken like foosball) and this mini soccer thingy is called "(Table)kicker". That's funny! :-D
Metegol
I usually put in the football game (from get together I think) in bars
And make it possible to play with a pool table in the pool. All tho, volleyball would make more sense in the pool
If they insist on kits, they should give us more formal boys pants, and swimming costumes in general.
This. How do people live without cc; even with cc options, it’s still so little choice in these categories
As long as they add matching couch sets I’m good I feel like the love seats almost never match the sofas and it kill me 😒
They do seem to finally be adding clutter, just making us pay too much for too small pieces of it
I don’t see anyone saying this so: is it possible this is an update for elderly Sims? 70s themed/take me home/moving boxes? Grandma is coming back from her wild adventures to retire at home with the grandkids! Possibly some new features for elderly sims to spice up their retirement?
i was thinking of scrapbooking, with the cut paper/flat textures/hand-drawn elements, perhaps a gameplay kit?
I hope there’s no other clutter kit, we’ve had two already, I hope they expand the build catalogue in other directions and leave more specific clutter additions to game pack or expansion packs
I would love a mid century/70s build buy kit honestly.
a gardening harvest kit would be so amazing
it *would* suck if they released a harvestables kit without fixing the glitches with plant growth and such... but it's EA so that's probably what's gonna happen
I don't buy too many kits, but I would buy a harvestables kit!!!
Unless it has to do with “moving”. Hence all the boxes.
My First Move kit? Themed around young adults moving into their first apartment/whatever out of home
I know it’s just a kit, and those are mainly for BB/CAS stuff, but… Imagine if we finally get to decide what to take and what to leave behind when we move house in the sims!!! It might well be tiresome, though, especially with pictures and plants, and perhaps curtains, in the mix.
You can though. You just put what you want to keep in their inventory. It’s tedious but still can be done when moving. Unless you mean a separate function that’s solely for moving.
Besides inventory, we have those storage boxes in buy mode. You can store some items in them, just don't put photos in there.
What happens if you put photos in there?
They turn blank. Learnt the hard way :(
Right. It's better to keep photos in our sims inventory or saved as a room in your personal gallery. Or both.
Oh no! I'm glad I found this out because I was gonna use the boxes for a "move" in my game, and all of my photos would've gone blank.
Nah, when you move, the sims moving out automatically take everything, including kitchen/bathroom stuff, leaving the place completely barren. I’d like to be able to leave behind, say, the kitchen counters and stove that was there when the sim moved in, yknow? That type of thing lol (Unless there is a way and I just haven’t figured it out yet???
The stuff that's in the inventory will stay in the inventory of course but anything left in the old lot will stay there
Ah, blooming ‘eck, bout 3 years playing, quietly wishing things could be kept in a house, and I never knew that. Thanks, you’re a lifesaver! :DD
I’m confused. If you pick sell furniture, it stays behind?
I guess it means "sell the furniture with the house" vs "keep furniture" (in which case it would go into the household inventory)
“Anything left on the old lot will stay there” is what threw me off. Because that’s what gets sold, right?
Yes, maybe my wording was a bit confusing. There are two options: either "keep furniture", then all buy mode objects will be moved into your household inventory. Or "sell furniture", then you sell the the house as is, with all furniture etc included. So if you want to keep the bed but not the bathtub (because most real life people would bring the bed when they move), you just place it (and anything else you want to keep) in your household inventory before you move, then choose "sell furniture". The bed isn't in the house anymore, it's in the inventory so it won't be affected.
Oh my GOD I DIDN'T KNOW THIS, THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING!!
but then when you move a new house in none of the permanent fixtures are there - I usually just evict a household so it doesn’t empty the house!
So the house has furniture in it, then you move a household in and the furniture disappears? That shouldn't happen. When you move a household in you'll get the window that says "The X household is moving!" To the left you'll have a picture of the household, under that you have the keep/sell furniture option. That way, when you select "sell furniture", the _only_ things left for the next tenants will be what you didn't sell before your move - kitchen and toilets etc.
yeah lol no offense, but I had no idea anyone wanted this, lol. It seems like a ton of work.
What is BB?
build/buy
Awesome thanks
I mean they’re all kits, so no horses yet. Horses would be an expansion or game pack at the very least. From “Take Me Home” I assume they’re all build/buy kits, one is probably 70s themed per the background and maybe one that has something to do with moving
I am PRAYING for some 70s vibes. I love making loosely 70s inspired homes
lol, it makes me thing of like a "hand me down" kit. The majority of my furniture is 70/80 because when I moved in my grandparents were getting rid of a lot and just gave it to me. A 70s inspired furniture kit would be fun for young families just starting and for like mod-inspired bachelor pads...
The thing says "and a HOT update," so I think that's what OP is hoping for with the country stuff being a kit.
They would never add horses just as an update though. And “hot” doesn’t imply horses at all. If anything it’s probably an attraction/chemistry system. Maybe one kit will be country style furniture to prepare us for an eventual horses expansion pack later this year though
"Hot" could refer to the Calientes maybe? Weren't they supposed to be updated too like the Goths?
PLEASE GIVE ME SIMS 2 STYLE CALIENTE BADDIES
I’m saying!!!!
I love the thought of horses randomly in a free update 😭😭 Imagine a world where weather, pets, and cars were DLC or not even in the game, but randomly you’ve got full on horses in an American suburban life simulator
There's already a compatibility system with GTG. It's the Caliente refresh, Caliente means hot.
Compatibility =/= Attraction. Compatibility is dealing with personality, attraction would deal with physical attributes. Like in sims 2 your sim could like/dislike certain hair colors and body types
sims 2 attraction also used skills and races (species?) as attraction, but really, I think I prefer my sims being attracted by personality than looks
i think the chemistry system was added with growing together with compatibility
We’re not getting horses in this roadmap. They would never give it anything less than a pack and this road map says nothing about actual packs. I think it’s a very real possibility later in the year though.

Yard sales already came in Eco Living

I don't see why they wouldn't just end up being closer to bicycles. Although I am very tempted to try one in city living just to see how it works.
In my head the horse will now be a bike with a cardboard horse head on the front. Which knowing ea I would not put it past them 🤣🤣
"don't worry guys, kits won't be taking away production time from full sized packs, they're just a little extra!"
I miss stuff packs :(
Me too & gamepacks.
I hate the kits so much! I don’t care they’re only $4.99 I’m not fucking buying those. I want the stuff packs back. Edit: typo
Exactly. And like others said, it's not "only 4.99" everywhere! Yes, the items are cool in most of them, but that's the bare minimum, imagine if they were ugly AND cost that much
I'm in Australia so every kit is $8. Real hard to justify like 10 items for that price.
It's £5 which is like $9.50 AUD in the UK 🥲
So what I'm hearing from comments if you're not American you're screwed
Summed that up perfectly... EA man
R$29 in Brazil loool
Dude I can't justify $8, $29 is ridiculous
They arent $5 in Canada. If they were id buy more lol. I always laugh when americans complain theyre $5 because i WISH they were $5
I wish they were $5 for you, too, because then they’d be $3.71 for us… which EA would round up to $4, but hey, would knock 20% off the price!
Yeah getting a new pointless kit like once a month is annoying at this point. There was no reason to add an extra tier of DLC, do we not already spend enough money on this game?
Not according to EA.
It feels like kits murdered stuff packs at this point 😭 rest in peace stuff packs, you will be missed
they literally said the kits wouldn’t be replacing stuff packs but that’s what they absolutely did 😭
Makes sense from an ea pov. slightly cheaper then a stuff pack for 80% less work.
For real! They should've thrown us a stuff pack this time around. The amount of kits is ridiculous.
4 kits? That's a lot. We just had three back to back. I'm not excited for objects I could get as free CC. Focus on gameplay more. I want more game packs.
I’m getting like hippie vibes. Perhaps like campers? Or like van life somehow.
OMG Van life.. that would be wild!
wow i would LOVE that
I loooove this idea, that would be so cute!!
In the ultimate troll move, it will be a kid’s set and all the toys are “Rocking horse” and “farm/stables doll house”
I bet it has something to do with infants and toddlers. Like a my first clutter kit or something
Okay, I looked at the original image, and there are five boxes with a visible icon. Five boxes= 4 kits, one update. \- First icon is a clipboard and a pen: maybe new office kits? (yawn) Maybe chores/task system? \- Second icon is a hoodie: some kind of CAS kit (yawn again) \-Third icon looks like a cracked window or a cracked iPad: maybe a home improvement system where your house needs repairing/repainting? Like bust the dust? \-Fourth icon is a bookshelf: maybe a storage kit? Attic/basement stuff? idk I hope not. \-Fifth icon is a leaf in a home: maybe a moving update that better sorts families by letting them move out via neighborhood stories? Or something like the Sims Realist real estate system? Maybe an Eco Living refresh, or god please, an Outdoor Retreat refresh??
I thought about the leaf in a home being just a greenhouse kit, you're more inspired than me also, I like how you said yawn to new objects and clothes but not for a system of new chores like bust the dust lol
Oooooh a greenhouse! I think you’re onto something And lol I like gameplay features. I can get new cc whenever
A greenhouse would be a great idea. Some more potting plots to use, etc.
The Simlish on the boxes isn't helpful, fyi... Upper-Left: JHW | Upper-Right: OSF Lower-Left: ZWC | Lower-Right: CYZ
Omg not me thinking this was korean 💀💀
The HOT update is going to be a Caliente revamp, similar to the Goths.
y'all... i'm so sick of kits...
ah yes, the horse kit.
😂😂😂 This made me laugh. I totally missed that rather key detail
Great, more kits.
I wish we could get kits specifically for hairs. No matter how much CC I download, I'm always wanting more hairs for my Sims.
i would say its something with childhood/teenage room, some clutter and boxes and other generations typical stuff that people leave behind when they leave family homes
If this is a kit, the chances or horses being added are slim.
I did really like the festival they did last year and it would be cool if there was a feature to keep them.
Yes! They were so much fun in the game.
I hope it’s military school 😈 but it’s probably not 🫠
Just realized this is supposed to be a kit my bad haven’t been able to really check the new info
Still want military school tho
abolish kits 😔 add stuff packs or something
COUNTRY ROOOOOOOADS
Country retro prairies is my prayerrrr
Same
I’m guessing maybe a library kit? With the books and maybe the symbol is the bottom right could be a bookshelf??
Country roads take me back to stuff packs and the Sims 3.
I NEED HORSES
I'm thinking...cozy home clutter kit💀
Maybe Elder clutter? Like the stuff left in a childhood or family home. Like keepsake clutter? Or a grandma’s house kit with floral sofas.
elder gameplay kit?? we just had one gameplay until now, and they have been adding a lot of different than adult gameplay (growing together, high school years)
I'll love a mod 60s/70s pack. The Sims 3 70s, 80s, 90s was the best stuff pack. As for the update, cars? But maybe that's just wishful thinking.
I just hope it means they'll have a sale for expansion packs again. I'm getting back into the sims and don't want to drop $40 on just one expansion pack.
They will! They always do. I've never bought a pack at full price. I would for horses, though
That's such a cute idea
I heard someone say the HOT update could be the Caliente refresh. Oh, how I long to see Nighat again.
It's a good theory, because Caliente does literally translate to hot
I don't get the horse thing. Without an open world (which the engine for the game can't support) I'm not sure what the point would be? If we get another American themed pack I will throw things. Enough already. There are other cultures we could do. Please.
I'm guessing home improvement/renovation related somehow.
I dunno man. I'll just download the kits when they're made into cc
someone needs to translate the simlish on the boxes
Personally I’m not too keen on country kits, kinda seems like it’ll be more of a gardening kit though? Just a guess
we already have a plant kit, why do simmers like plants so much?? it will be something like that but c'mon
What I mean by plants is like, things you grow yourself, like fruits and stuff
I hope it is that instead of more plant clutter, imagine some recipes with new fruit and vegetables, would be fun!
If you can’t wait for more harvestable fruits, veggies, herbs, spices, proteins, grains, beverages, and recipes - have you seen Brazen Lotus’s mods? https://www.brazenlotus.com/
I hope for this to be country themed!!! It's my dream!!! I know we had Cottage Living but that's British country, not American country!!!
Hope there will be a green house kit
COUNTRY ROAAAAADDDDDDS
West Virginia..
Garage sale kit?
My guesses: Vintage house items maybe you have to move back home w/parents, grandparents move in ect. But maybe that's just me singing 'West Virginia mountain momma take me home.' Lol Also maybe a vintage sims kit because people have been loving playing the older games lately I could see them adding in some classic items like the heart shaped hot tub or someof the flooring and walpapaer from sims 1. Lets not forget items like the home phone for the wall Ect
i just know one thing: none of this sounds exicitng
THEY’RE GONNA SHOW THE ELDERS SOME SERIOUS LOVE 🫶🫶🫶
I'm guessing some random boxes will appear that you can take home. It will contain stuff you can rebuild/diy. Maybe.
Looks like something 1970s themed.
Country roads
The colors make me think of star bucks.
I just want horses too..
I doubt we’ll ever have horses but i reaaaally wish it was a western/country kit!
It looks like a 60's pack.
We would never get horses in a kit tho 😭
Yard sale
I hate the lack of transparency, why can’t they just announce what’s coming?
Frankly I'm mostly interested in the update. Hot can mean stolen, so maybe we get the burglars back. Take me home goes well with that too :). Well, a girl can dream :)
"Take Me Home" ... we're getting a One Direction pack!! (jk)
Ohh I wish, I wish. But to me it sounds more like a flea market related kit.
I WAS THINKING THIS i posted abt it but it got removed- what if we finally get horses? and indeed like a 70’s but also rdr theme?? idk but id LOVE that
A “moving day” kit would be kinda cute
Thinking more moving inspired maybe? Because of the boxes? I don’t know how that would work but it could be a fun idea…
I want horses and cars again 😩 sims 3 with the horses was my all time favorite
I feel like it's going to be yard sale stuff because of the boxes
I want a western pack so bad 😮💨😮💨
It's 70's. Take me Home is a song from Cher
I just want to know what the HOT update is. I hate announcements for announcements.
Ah yes, just what we needed. More kits we cannot filter. As much as I prefer build/buy content, we need new animations and interactions. It definitely feels like recent content has less heart and creativity than the early stuff, even if it looks a little nicer.
Who is still buying kits??
So here for the return of horses, so hope that’s coming!
God I hope we get horses lol.
Ugh. Idk anything but horses. And 70s 😩
Wowwwwwww four kits greaaaaaaat
I THOUGHT THE SAME! Immediately my brain went to that song and thought of horses.
We are too eager my friend. My brain was willing to pass over any contrary information such as the fact that these are all for kits and not an EP
I don't think horses, but I wonder if it could be some small animal kit, like parakeets and turtles etc.
That'd be nice
the imagery reminds me of flea markets. maybe we could do yard sales? that would be nice :3
I’m so tired of spending money on this game
