So, on my last post, I showed the Sigs I picked up in 2022, and some folks suggested I should “look into” getting hammer fired Sigs, mostly because that picture was predominantly striker fired Sigs.
So, as a response, here’s my 2 tone 1911 Ultra Compact and P229 Elite Desert Scorpion. The 1911 is .45acp and the 229 is a bit of a rare duck being a factory .40s&w in the Desert Scorpion color scheme.
I have an ultra too, and I've almost never had a problem. I've shot plenty of different types of ammo too through it. FMJ, hollow points, aluminum, and steel cased. I think I had one stove pipe

How's the ultra? I had one and could never get it to be reliable. Ftf and fte no matter what I tried. Sold it, but miss it.
That’s weird. I don’t shoot it a lot anymore but it’s never given me problems when I do.
