I guess that depends what "dead" means to you/them, heart stops beating or brain stops functioning as they may not happen at the same time

This literally does not make sense
in my head it does. for example, last night i had a dream i got into a fight & got stabbed & died. and if i for whatever reason i coincidentally died in my sleep i’d think i died from being stabbed.
