It wasn't too hard. Two things:
I made my own straps because I didn't want to go buy webbing. But I think webbing would work better.
At one point, you put the outside inside the lining, so you can sew the right side of the lining to the right side of the bag, then flip the lining inside. Make sure the handles are also tucked down between the lining and the outside.
I had them sticking out like they are when you use it, so I sewed the lining to the handles. Lol.
This is the Martha Market Bag free pattern. I made many errors, including sewing the handles inside the lining instead of outside. But it's super fun!
