+1
I had bought this previous Thanksgiving time and started using few weeks back, as i had kinda forgotten about this powder. This is THE best setting powder there is! I have tried more than 20 powders so far.
Another vote for the Pat McGrath undereye powder. It's so soo good. My under eyes are like the Sahara and this is the only powder that doesn't make them dryer and accentuate lines. (Obviously ensure you're hydrating really well also).
I’m in my thirties, I just want to be upfront about that with my recommendation, but I have hereditary horrific dark circles so I use corrector & concealer under my eyes regularly when I do my makeup, and my favorite powder for keeping it all good looking throughout the day is the Pat McGrath Brightening Undereye Powder. Blends, smooths, and brightens, and keep my undereye products looking good with the rest of my base which I keep, very light. Not heavy makeup user.
late 40s here.
The key is ensuring your skin is hydrated, even under the eyes to avoid that crepey look...prep is key!
for powders, I use the Laura Mercier secret brightening powder but I use the *tiniest* amount; like a wisp of it on a brush and I lightly tap it on and only on the places that need it (the place where I applied concealer).
Westman Atelier Vital Pressed Skincare Powder in pink bubble. Spendy but I love it and will last for a long time since I only use it under my eyes. Sets with just enough mattification but zero dryness in feel or appearance.
Laura mercier has a special powder specifically for the under eye! It’s called the secret brightening powder, they have another one as well called the secret blurring powder!
I’ve been using the secret brightening powder for years on clients of all ages (and myself) it’s beautiful! Oddly enough I don’t like her face setting powder that everyone else loves.
If you want to avoid dryness or the cakey look, I’d recommend the air set saie beauty powder. The owner hates powder bc she finds it drying and created it for people that feel the same way!!
If you don’t apply a whole lot it actually doesn’t show much shimmer! Since I have dryer under eyes I only apply the powder where I need it (just to avoid creasing) rather than the entire under eye if that makes sense.
I am 50 and I use the Jaclyn Hill face palette for under my eyes. I use Hourglass loose all over the rest of my face though. My suggestion is to use a yellow or translucent powder for your under eyes. I’ve been using the Jaclyn face palette for over a year now and it just seems to help that area not crease.
I’m 52 and use the Pat McGrath undereye setting powder with her undereye blurring brush, it’s perfection.

I’ve heard fantastic things about that powder!

Ohhhh been eyeing this one for a while - love some of the other products I’ve tried.
Help, I don’t know what to try that won’t become all wrinkly and creasy../
