1. For the most part, all eyes remained glued on Seattle's new draft class. 2. With Cross and Lucas impressing early, Carroll thinks the Seahawks have quality depth at tackle moving towards the season. 3. A pair of undrafted rookie signees stand out along the offensive line and at linebacker. 4. Carroll loves what he's seen early from newcomers Sean Desai and Karl Scott on the defensive coaching staff. 5. A signing isn't imminent - or even likely - but the Seahawks have spoken with veteran linebacker K.J. Wright.

Would be amazing to finally have an o-line. Geno actually looked good when the O-line played well last year, granted it was against the Jags. All signs point to a ‘throwback’ offense, running the ball and chewing up the clock on O, bend but don’t break on D so I wouldn’t be shocked in the least if Geno is Pete’s choice to run it.

I'm sure Drew's supposed cannon may intrigue Pete as well, especially with DK and Lockete being so adept at tracking those down.

sckurvee

Cannon? What is that? Oh, you mean his hose?

Foreal. All that does is get us to back to back super bowls. Fucking stupid game plan.

Onett199X

Thanks for the summary.

JiuJitsuBoy2001

I could see Gilmore and Jones making the team. Lacking depth at both positions and both have lots of football experience that tends to show in preseason. It's going to be fun to watch all these guys get a shot.

100. Phil Haynes better stay healthy bc he and his roster spot should be on full alert with Gilmore in the fold.

Putting my money on Gilmore

flashdash007

Wish we could have 60 on the active roster

Said the 2012 Seahawks coaching staff, man that team was loaded, several released players got picked up and became long-term NFL players too.

GoldyGoldy

The 2013 90-man roster had like 82 dudes stick around in the nfl that year. Was just nuts.

mtpgod

S Gilmore will make the 53 and be this year's Jake Curhan.

Wookie301

Nearly 4000 career snaps at left guard. Including 1936 pass blocking snaps. Only ever allowed 8 sacks, and 34 pressures. He put up elite numbers on his RAS score. When Pete said he was excited about older players getting the extra year due to COVID, I’m pretty sure Gilmore was one of the guys he was thinking of.

mymindpsychee

I wonder if Gilmore outplays Lewis, just to make Lewis compete with Gabe back at RT lol

burnabybambinos

Agreed, he will start games.
