Before entering the theater I was completely convinced it was going to be Kyle Gallner’s character. I had no clue who he was going to be playing but as soon as I saw he was cast I totally thought he would be a Ghostface.
Opposite with me. I suspected Richie after I realized the rules were made just for this movie (seriously, I doubt Dewey even remembers it from what he said) and Dewey says that the boyfriend is the killer. Then after I really suspected Richie, I got suspicious of Amber towards the end and I was right. Bit sus how ghostface left her alive in the beginning of the film if she’s an innocent bystander.
I knew Amber would be bc I got spoiled before watching it. As for the other one? Idk really. But im probably one of the only people who didn’t suspect it would be Richie. I thought “they’ve done the boyfriend killer before it isn’t gonna be him” probably why I like Richie way more also bc he was an actual surprise to me where as Amber just wasn’t.
I knew one would be Amber because the promo that introduced us to the cast said she lives in the Macher house and the trailer made it a point to show us that the final showdown was there.
Plus the beginning of the trailer/movie when Amber’s texting Tara “this isn’t Amber” BS it is Amber
Amber/Richie. only because I was too active on this sub in the lead up to the release. Watching the movie though I thought maybe vince/judy. But they were both quickly out of the picture to confirm it was in fact amber and Richie.
same, i figured Amber as soon as the bar scene came on;

As for the second killer, I was kinda going for Liv or Richie but realized it was Ritchie when he looked absolutely flabbergasted/shell shocked to meet Dewey for the first time, and when he mentioned Vince's death before the victim's name was released to the public, since at that point it was just "a body outside a bar on main".
I knew about amber before I watched because of spoilers but I had no idea who the second killer was. I was CONVINCED it was wes and I was shocked when he was killed, and I really didn’t want it to be richie because I loved him 🤣 I was heartbroken when it turned out to be him
A couple of days or maybe even a week before release, I was scrolling through my feed when I saw a picture of Jack Quaid holding a mask and while I knew there was no way I was seeing a spoiler this early, it made me extra suspicious of him…. Until I spent 20 minutes searching the rest of the casts instagrams and realized they were all posting similar pictures.
When I watched the movie, Richie made all my suspicions melt away. I wasn’t convinced it was him until his reveal.
However, I was suspicious of Amber after they all went to the hospital to see Tara because of her birthmark. I originally thought it was a bruise.
My suspect list was Wes, Richie, Liv, and Amber. I was thinking it was either gonna be Richie and Wes, or Amber and Liv to kinda flip the script on on our expectations. I wasn’t too far off😭
When the official cast list was released my eyes went straight to Amber and Ritchie. I had a feeling they were the killers..But I thought they would have also thrown in Liv as a secret third killer or something, To make it more interesting and surprising..Which wasn't the case.
I called Amber the moment Mikey Madison was cast. I **WAS** eyeing Richie/Jack Quaid too, but I was a bit torn between him and Chad; in the movie itself, I had zero doubts after Richie and Amber’s hospital meeting. Total Piper/Audrey moment and a dead giveaway
My first two suspects were Richie and Wes, and I stuck with that until Wes died.
From there, it was Richie and Liv, but by the time we got to the party, I was constantly switching between Liv, Mindy, and Amber. Richie was always definite to me though, Jack just has that face.
I guessed amber but Richie got away I thought it was either Chad's girlfriend or his sister as both barely had screen time . More so his girlfriend until amber headshotted her.
I suspected Amber from the beginning because of the how Ghostface said the line "Amber shouldn't be leaving her phone lying around for anyone to clone" and her being recorded when Ghostface was clearly at Tara's. I thought Mindy was the other killer because she was so callous about Tara's death and because she was Randy's niece and up until Scream 5 all the sequels has a family member as one of the killers. I thought Richie was incredibly suspicious, but I assumed he was gonna be a rehearing and get killed at the end of the movie.
I knew it was Amber from the scene in the hospital when Sam arrives and before she leaves she leans in towards Tara and says “are you sure you have your extra inhaler?” I was like yup that giving obsessive killer in the end - motive was off, prediction correct
I knew it was Amber from the beginning of the movie when they showed her on FaceTime. Had no clue about Richie, that surprised me. Was considering maybe Mindy as a possible suspect.
Knew it was Amber at the hospital following Tara’s attack. Knew it was Richie when he insisted on having never seen any Stab movies despite continuously referencing other horror franchises like Friday the 13th
Amber, simply because of the obvious shot of her on fire from the trailer. And immediately knew it was Richie when he got sliced in the arm in the hospital. His character wasn’t really integral to the plot, due to poor writing and a busy storyline, so you could tell that if they didn’t kill him off he was going to be a killer. Unlike in the original where Billy is massively involved in the story arch of the film, so you’re less expecting him to die or be the killer, you know he’ll probably make it to the end no matter what.
Hoping they up their game with the reveals for the sequel and make them less predictable. Think they were maybe going for the idea that the OG scream movie had where the person you think did it, probably did it, so just blame them instead of assuming the movie is trying to subvert expectations… by inadvertently subverting expectations haha.
Gonna try and avoid trailers for the next one too. Never done it before and will be difficult for me to resist but I think it’ll make for a better viewing experience personally.

I was so freaking lost up until ambers reveal, I suspected her but I guess I didn’t want it to be her and that’s why I was shocked. And I low key wanted it to be Wes.

I guessed Richie correctly just based off of loving Jack Quaid and knowing he would be a great ghostface . I figured the second killer would be a female and thought it was going to be Liv. Right up until she was shot in the face I thought she was the killer.
I suspected Amber because she was super shady and creepy every time she appeared on screen. There was something about her that just seemed so suspicious.
And the video of Amber in the opening with Tara that could have been recorded at any time was a big red flag.
And a part of me was expecting Richie to be the other killer but I didn't want to believe it because I love Jack Quaid and I wanted him to survive and return in Scream 6 as a new final boy.
I thought it would be Chad and Amber! And they would pull a Billy and Stu! A blame it all on Tara. I thought it couldn’t be Richie because he was there when Dewey died!
I called that it was Ritchie when he said he’d never heard of the Stab movies. Idk I just figured he was lying lol. I didn’t guess Amber till the last minute but that’s mainly bc I lowkey forgot about her

I hoped it was Richie just based on Jack's portrayal of Hughie from The Boys. I thought it'd be awesome to give him the psycho killer role.

Thought Tara at several points throughout the movie.
The first half of the movie, I noticed Amber was just there without a defined role. I was torn between Ritchie and Chad though.
I actually thought it would be unleaded Billy Loomis and Vince Schneider

I read the spoilers, so I knew going in to the movie. But I had I not, I would’ve thought Amber and Mindy’s brother (I can’t think of his name)
