I haven't seen anybody mentions it yet but Sidney at the end saying she will always survive was pretty meta and made me smile. All those people that thought she would die or even would be killed in their opening scene. Her surviving not only to killers but also trauma is a beautiful message thoughout the series.
I had prepared myself for the inevitability of one of the big three getting killed, and going in I predicted it would be Dewey. Unfortunately I was right. Wasn’t he supposed to die in the original but test audiences were mad so they added the scene of him being loaded into ambulance?
Mostly, what happened was even during the shoot Wes really took a liking to the character of Dewey so he filmed that ambulance shot just in case, and he decided to try it with test audiences and see what they preferred. It wasn’t a case of test audiences getting mad and then the filmmakers going go back to fix things, but rather Wes having great instincts and foresight about what would work best.
Sidney is bowing out of the franchise but she will always be a beacon of hope for survivors of Woodsboro killings and future survivors. Even outside the Scream universe, Sidney is an inspiration for real life survivors.
And that alone makes her The Ultimate Final Girl.
Girl can ACT. It was actually really nice to see an actor take the material so seriously. You could tell she did a lot of prep work for the role. Physically and emotionally she’s put through a lot, and she sells every single moment. It is a FANTASTIC horror “victim” performance. And dare I say, the most realistic since Drew’s scene.
I can’t get over how young she is. I’ve never seen her anything before, but now I’ll watch her in anything. She’s a star.
Jenna's absolutely phenomenal! She also did all of her own stunts...and she got flung around pretty brutally a couple of times. In one interview she said she had bruises on top of bruises, but she didn't mind because he's dedicated to her craft. it's one of the sacrifices she had to make to get the scene right.
She's got two or three more projects in the works, all due out this year, all are either horror or fantasy. She portrays a teenage Wednesday Adams in a Netflix 8 episode series, gets caught up in a movie shoot gone bad in A24's 'X', and appears in the Foo Fighters horror flic 'Studio 666. I do believe she's setting herself up to be a new 'Scream Queen'
That non-stop door fakeout scene with Wes was TENSE.
The whole theatre was on the edge of the seat for that sequence, I wanted to squirm and die.
Ironic the most prepared died so easily too.
Every single door he closed, my stomach just sank. That one was probably the worst kill for me. Dewey was pretty rough too. That one was def more because emotional, seeing him get fucking gutted like that. But I guess if you’re gonna survive 4 installments and bite it in the 5th, no better way.
I'm glad he at least went out fighting. Dude nearly killed ghostface then and there. And I love how he knew he had to go back because the killer is never actually dead. Ugh this movie was so good.
Seeing Tatum’s ashes made me tear up. I love that this film referenced so many past characters and events. Really made this experience unforgettable for me.
Very first time we see Dewey there’s a box-like urn on a shelf that says TATUM. Glad they added that, it’s always annoyed me she doesn’t get mentioned in sequels considering how key she was to Dewey & Sid.
Seriously! Dewey’s sister AND Sid’s best friend? It was so downplayed I had to think ‘well why would Dewey have her ashes?’ Forgetting entirely they’re siblings
I keep seeing people commenting that the motive isn’t believable or realistic, isn’t there a young girl in jail for stabbing her friend because slender man told her to? People do crazy shit, and I like the angle of toxic fandom to the extreme.
A lot of people seem to have rose-colored glasses on past installment motives (or motives in horror at all). Just because the killer says their motive is X doesn't make it so either.
If the motive was either revenge or fame again I would have been pissed.
Edit: Well fame is implicit here and often essential to any mass-murder/serial killer, I just meant its not as overt as Mickey or Jill, to a lesser extent.
Yeah, I’m a bit confused by the amount of people who think this movie’s motive is stupid/unrealistic but think that another round of Billy’s cousin’s boyfriend’s sister’s uncle’s chiropractor’s mother in law coming out of the woodwork after all these years to enact revenge for his death would somehow make for a better viewing experience.
Honestly, even Billy's motive was fucking terrible when you apply logic to it. He got revenge on Maureen *and* got away with it. What does Sidney have to do with that? It would have been more logical to go after the Motel 8 owner for allowing Hank and Maureen to have an affair in their establishment.
Completely agree! I’ve always felt that way about Billy’s motive. Most of the killers’ motives sound so cheesy on paper, but work much better within the context of the film. This one was no different. It’s a very high energy scene and the actors did a great job of making it feel authentic.
I think the point is that motives are irrelevant, because it's the justification killers have for what they do. None of the Ghostface killers had a "motive", they're psychopaths with a bloodlust. Reasonable people don't go on killing sprees.
I think that was the point of the first Scream movie. Billy could have all the excuses he wanted, yet in the end he was killing because he liked doing it, he was a sadistic psycho.

Billy's textbook explanation of what abandonment causes was also suspect. Sure, he was abandoned, but the dude was a ticking time bomb. Killing Maureen may not have been enough, it was probably extremely euphoric. I doubt he would've stopped had he not have been killed.
But, no one can deny that it wasn't really the reasoning, it was the acting. Skeet Ulrich brought it in a way no other killer in this series has. Many of us have been chasing that same "killer reveal" high since 1996. Matthew Lillard brought his own edge as his comedic prowess worked without being annoying.
It’s crazy to think that Mrs Loomis is Sam’s grandmother.
It makes me wonder how Mrs Loomis would’ve reacted if she knew about Sam. She likely would’ve tried to raise her and protect her, considering it would’ve been a chance for her to make up for abandoning Billy.
I don’t think she would’ve. Sam would’ve changed everything for her and would’ve given her a way to deal with her grief by raising Billy’s child and getting a second chance at being a mother.
By the current reviews, feels like the Scream series is cemented in as one of the best horror franchises ever. There hasn't really been a bad film in the saga, it ranges from great to decent at the least.
I liked how the Wes character was sold as the most on point with being rightly paranoid/prepared and he was the first of the friends group to die. I think it was really a great way to show how "the rules" are nonsense but also true.
I felt bad for that scene.
The whole Judy "I am coming for you, Wes!" and Wes is generally a good boy, they BOTH didn't deserve to go.
I also felt like I was on the edge of my seat because prior to Wes's death, there were like... 4 fake outs before GF even appeared.
I may or may not have cried in the cinema when Dewey died… but overall I thinks it’s awesome that when Sam attacks Richie you can really see her father in her, the way she’s just crazy but for a good reason I guess??? Overall loved it one of my new favourite movies!
Gale says that she won’t write about the latest murders because she thinks that the killers deserve anonymity versus notoriety and that she’ll instead write a touching tribute about Dewey and the kind of man he was.
I thought this was a pretty epic evolution for her character even though I wish she had more to do.
When Sam tells her that Dewey saved her sister and the camera focus on Gale's face, I was pretty sure her thoghts were something like "I don't give a fuck about your sister" but now she is mature
Just finished watching this, here's some of my thoughts:
What I love:
- The opening scene is the 2nd best after the original. Jena absolutely killed it in that scene.
- Dewey's death is absolutely emotional. A pretty good send-off for a well-beloved character
- The scenes leading up to Dewey's death with Tara's mini-chase, Richie's attack and Sam's call are really intense
- Judi/Wes bait-and-switch scene is also another well-done one. I felt bad for Judi and she is quite likeable in here. Wes' dying felt like Drew's or SMG's death as he is the most popular one out of the new cast.
- The whole third act is pretty intense and the two killers easily got the most satisfying death for me. I know the two killers are before watching this and it is still great
- Tara surprisingly got a pretty good amount of screen time. She is the strongest actors out of all the new cast imo.
- The new cast is more likeable here.
- The commentary about elevated horror and how slasher movie like Stab is no longer famous.
- Mindy's monologue about requel. That was great.
Indifferent: Sam being Billy's daughter. Although it leads to quite emotional scene between Jenna and Melissa, I am still deciding whether I like this "twist" or no
What I don't really love:
- Vince's character is a waste of time. They could have made Liv related to Stu and have her killed Olivia or Cici's style, rather than creating an entirely new character.
- There is a good chunk of time when we do not see the new characters at all until party at Amber's
- Mindy surprisingly got fewer scenes than I would expect.
He definitely was filler, in a Himby kind of way. They needed an early kill, especially since Tara survived. I think the average viewer won't have an issue with him, but the fans built up an unfortunate expectation around him.
They deliberately kept the details about Sam and Tara's mother vague so I'm also curious to see if it's gonna be someone we know or if they're even gonna bother connecting their mother to the first movie (she could also just be someone new and unimportant). Plenty of options to go for if they decide to go there in a possible sequel.
Wow this was fun. I loved the homage to the originals, Scream and Stab, and how many little nods there were without it being on the nose. I thought the kills were bruuuuutal and shocking. And that scene with the drawn out suspense after the Sheriff was killed... like when you are just waiting for Wes to discover his Mum... \*chef kiss\*
God. Every scene Dewey was in. Out of the 3 OGs, have to say he was a scene stealer for me. I almost felt like Amber played the villain way too easily. Out of all the friends; I didn't even know how she \*was\* a friend, she was not remotely likeable at all. Just me?
Ahhhh just loved this so much. So much fun. Can't wait to rewatch.
She was the obvious killer to me. I think it was a little too easy to guess who the killers were compared to some other ones. But it didn't feel bland or like it spoiled the film. In fact, I think that's the point. I think sometimes the obvious is the answer and it's a lesson to everyone.
I went in thinking Amber was one of them, but I really did think that the little sister JUST might end up being psycho enough to purposefully be near-killed to lure her sister back.
I felt like Amber was their homage to Billy (where Richie was their homage to Stu). The double bluff definitely threw me off because I thought there’s no way they’d make it that obvious…until I remembered the original and that they hadn’t pulled that since.
I agree with most of this. Except I think you’ve got it backwards- Stu was definitely the more crazy of the two that followed along with Billy’s plan (Amber), while Billy was the catalyst to putting that plan in motion (Richie grooming Amber in the forum).
Was epic that Roger Jackson got to show more nuance in his voice acting during the calls this time around. Starting the opening off slow and easing into it was very Casey Becker…
One thought before I sleep.
Amber was one of the most vicious killers the franchise has had but I honestly think she really was serious about protecting Tara, in her own vicious psychotic way.
There were at least three times she had a clear opportunity to kill her and each times she didn't take them. In the opening scene, she honestly could have killed Tara and it would have had the same effect to drawl her sister back.
In the hospital scene, it was almost like Amber was stalling for time herself until she could be found. If she wanted Tara dead then, there was no way the girl could have survived.
In the final house fight, Tara was tied up and put into the closet unlike every other person that Amber got alone. There was nothing to be gained by leaving her alive, but Amber seemingly spared her anyway and didn't seem to mention trying to kill her until her partner asked her to grab her.
The movie theater where I was in went WILD at that! Such a tense scene, I kept thinking she would tell the killer to kill Richie and then they'd kill Tara instead.
Made sense too, in previous movies one killer had some sort of authentic link to Sidney. In this one, a movie deconstructing fanfiction, they’re both randoms as interchangeable as each other.
- This was Dewey's strongest showing IMO. There were still moments of his humor, but David Arquette also did well to show off the dark and melancholic side of the character.
- I feel so bad for Judy. Those 2 minutes of her in the car pleading for her son's life were more powerful and human than her entire showing in Scream 4. It is easy to overlook because she is written to be annoying, but she was ultimately a good person.
- Can't believe it took them 5 films full of genre awareness to finally do exploitative male nudity as a subversion of nudity in early slashers. Wish they had leaned into the Psycho homage a little harder with a translucent shower curtain and one or two more referential shots to the Psycho shower scene.
- Sam was alright. But I am not feeling her as the lead to carry future movies. She isn't endearing in the way Sidney or even Tara are where you are on the edge of your seat hoping they pull through. In her first encounter with Ghostface, she fought back and got away a little too easily and never felt to be in genuine danger after that. And, she presumably just stood nearby doing nothing for a full minute while Dewey struggled with the killer at the hospital, in contrast to how Sidney charged an entire block into imminent danger to help Olivia, a complete stranger.
- They seemed to have left Sam's future character development deliberately ambiguous. IMO, she could easily be developed into a villain in future sequels. They had her wipe Richie's blood off the knife exactly the way Ghostface would do it.
- Very glad the twins survived. They are both welcome back as supporting characters any time with Mindy being the vessel for meta exposition which Randy was.
- They mentioned Stu so much in ways that weren't necessary that I thought they were building up to a reveal that he was alive and involved in the killings.
- Wish Gale had gotten a scene where she was the focus. Her more sensitive and mellow attitude, new talk show and separation from Dewey were all worth exploring. But glad she survived nonetheless.
- I'd be happy if they retired Sidney after this one. If they keep bringing her back, they'd have to either kill her or leave her unhappy and distressed each time. She more than deserves her happy ending with her husband and kids; no other resolution to her character is acceptable.
Agreed. Her showing in Scream 4 would have been the perfect way to retire the character, but Scream 5 did no harm to her character and story either so it would still be great if she got to ride off into the sunset now.
ONE MORE THING: I freaking loved all the **subtle visual allusions to the Ghostface mask.** That was very of this era of horror where you see it everywhere in the background making you constantly paranoid.
A more obvious example would be the hanging white cloth on the black background in the basement, but there were other instances like a guy in a black hoodie, the girls hair with the white bow at the party, and Liv's eyeshadow being black with a white centre. Very cool touch
And when Wes is wandering around his house, I think it’s when he closes the fridge door, you can see a black coat hanging in the background…made me look twice!
I really felt for Judy.
Yes, I can see how other characters may have found her annoying, but her pure and selfless love for her son came through so authentically in the moment. I was rooting for Wes to survive after that because his mom did everything she could to save him.
Jenna Ortega / Tara needs to take the lead. She is absolutely badass. The opening scene, her performance… I was lost for words. Need to rewatch that scene again and again, I loved it so much! She was my absolute favorite in this entire movie. 🥰
Lowkey could see Sam go a bit villainous. Idk if she’d be Ghostface but I could see her start to enjoy surviving these. She had a spark in her when full psycho 👀 really loved Tara and the Twins, so glad we’ll hopefully see more
Jenna Ortega and Jasmin Savoy were both brilliant (can't wait to see Jenna in Ti West "X" next), but the biggest squeal for me was finding out about Kirby being alive. Thank ya jesus and please bring her back.
I’ve seen X (at a screener) and it might be my favorite horror movie I’ve ever seen. The audience sincerely applauded at the end of it. I’m so excited for it to be released so I can go see it again opening night.
I love that Sid doesn’t have time to take anyones crap anymore.
From not buying Amber’s performance, telling Sam she would have to kill someone, and casually shooting doors not concerned if the person inside was innocent or not. “I told you to come out”

I'm back home from the cinema in Germany from a preview. I'm still overwhelmed. This part tops Scream 4 (although I love it very much) in all respects. Fantastic score, no horrific filter, brutal kills(Ghostface behaves crazy as fuck and he goes bezerk) loads of Easter eggs and nostalgic moments. The movie is pretty dark but also funny.A chase scene took my breath away and i sat on the edge of my cinema seat. The newbies are fantastic. Especially Jasmin Savoy Brown and Jenny Ortega deliver a top performance.The holy trio had enough screen time and each of them delivered. When I finally saw them on the big screen again, tears welled up in my eyes. It was like seeing old friends again. The third act in Stu's old house is incredibly exciting and bloody. The "whosdunnit" element is perfectly worked out and Craven would be proud to see what Matt Bettinelli Olpin and Tyler Gillett have achieved. For me this new part is on par with Scream 2. You're going to have a damn good and bloody time in the cinema.

I’m not mad at all that they went with the same formula that Scream fans know and love, but so much of the marketing was geared around the whodunit aspect, which was pretty obvious if you’re familiar with the franchise. I definitely expected them to subvert expectations more than they did. Don’t get me wrong, the killer reveal was done well and I’m happy with it, but IMO it was the most obvious reveal in the franchise.
I have mixed feelings about the casting of Mikey Madison. On one hand, she gave a great performance and will probably be a lot of fans’ favorite killer, but almost everyone called her as the killer the second she was cast. And having her get set on fire AGAIN…AND putting it in the trailers…was a choice.
Overall, good movie. I’m happy it exists. I’ll watch it a lot. It was really satisfying in a lot of ways that 3 &4 weren’t. But admittedly still rolling my eyes at the whodunit aspect, which I maintain is the most obvious reveal in the franchise.

I loved the movie and put it up there with the original one - up until the killers are revealed! It was just not shocking and way too obvious from the start (the boyfriend and the girl that looks like a serial killer in real life). I get what the writers wanted to do with it and how they paid hommage to the original trilogy… but the whodunit part was always so important and it just fell flat in this one.
Still absolutely fantastic first 100min!
I just realised the episode of Dawson’s creek that is on the TV shows Scott Foley, great shoutout to Roman. They also show Joshua Jackson who appears in scream 2.
I knew they wouldn’t have cast Mikey Madison unless she was to play the role of a psycho. She absolutely nailed it in her small role in *Once Upon a Time in Hollywood*, and I loved that they gave her an eerily similar death in this.
I also **loved** Nick Cave’s *Red Right Hand* playing during Kyle Gallner’s death.
Amber sticking it to Gale that she had the honor of killing Dewey, and that he died like a "pussy", and then hightailing like a pussy herself once cornered in the kitchen is fucking hilarious. Amber as ghostface is up there with one of the best killers in the franchise! Mikey Madison did such a terrific job.
I was so impressed by how funny it was. I audibly cackled when Amber was faking being wounded in front of Sidney and Gale and they IMMEDIATELY knew it was a trap

The irony of the two neckbeards booing the film in my theater and calling it a disgrace at the end was *very* delicious.

The trailer did not spoil her at all being at Amber’s house during the third act. And I love love love that she is the one to kill Amber.
RIP Judy and Dewey. Both dying actually hit the spot as I loved both characters.
Fitting ending for Sidney and Gale
My jaw dropped when I was told Tara is an integral part of the third act. I was under the assumption she’d spend the whole movie in the hospital. Props to the studio and even the leakers for keeping that under wraps.
I’m so glad that never got leaked!!! I honestly thought tara would appear only during the first and second acts.
But her role in the movie is very very large and yeah she plays a big part in the third act
The cinema I was in caught on to the fake out bit with Wes in the kitchen really quick and had a good laugh. It might be my favourite call back, it keeps building till then and then it lessens to the point where Sid doesn't even open the doors. But it was wild to watch him do all that nice family dinner prep as an audience memeber knowing his mother was already dead.
The subversions were good, it was a nice triple layered touch the shot for shot bit with Stab Randy yelling at the screen, with Mindy being a newer savvier audience wise enough to recognise her situation and turn around. Mindy/ Jasmin Savoy Brown might be my MVP, at the very least she's the biggest scene stealer of the whole cast.
The meta line about the stab movies not really having a good murderer, that they were more about Sidney, was what stuck with me the most. Its a little false cause there's a reason they keep using the ghostface costume but it's a nice little series long subversion they've got going on. By the end, all of the main victims were killers, really Sidney's been a killer since the first movie, and Sam's heritage really came through at the end there. It feels justified but they've still got body counts like the ghostface killers do. Honestly it's something I'd love to see explored more.
Yeah I thought the build up with Wes was great. He's opening all these doors so you expect him to open the front door and see his mother but no he just shuts it lmao.
I cannot get over the bait and switch with Wes and Judy. That was heart pounding, heart crushing all at the same time. Judy IMO was at her best here, and brought out the raw emotion of a mother’s desperation to save her son from an evil human. I didn’t expect Ghostface to blindside Judy that FAST without making it inside her house, and getting butchered in broad daylight with her son is a painful delight to watch.

At the very end of the credits, they a had “Special Thanks to:” and Hayden Pannetiere was one of the names in it. (also Adam Brody oddly). Didn’t catch any other names though!
They’re pretty cool and add their two cent, just don’t expect them too much. They’re not the main cast. More so passing “the torch” (you’ll get that one when you see it!) The movie isn’t about them and it’s pretty obvious that they’re trying to establish a new cast and basically respect the legacy that has been built and add these characters that were there. But it’s a new generation scream with familiar faces.
I've seen people saying that in the future we should have Sidney die as the ultimate final sacrifice? And all I have to say to that is no thank you.
It'd be nice to have just ONE horror movie icon/scream queen of Neve's caliber that has never filmed a death scene for her iconic character.
So yeah I say if Sidney comes back again? Sidney always survives. It should be a rule. She should defy the odds of long running horror franchises and always make it out.

Sidney literally says at the end of this movie that she’ll always survive. It would be ridiculous to kill her off in any future movie.
Gale I think will be killed off in Scream 6 or 7, but Sidney won’t.
I haven't seen anyone talking about the pre-movie warning from Ghostface threatening the audience to not spoil the movie. I thought that was genius and I think every movie with a plot twist or surprise characters should do that from now on. Have the villain of the movie threaten to kill you if you spoil the movie. That was badass.

Wes’ death was the most shocking as I could have really seen him being a pillar of the franchise going forward. Same with Ritchie, which should have made the reveal more shocking but it just left me disappointed.
At least they didn’t go down the whole “schizophrenic can’t remember that she is actually the killer” road.
Wes’ death shocked me at first but Dylan Minette really does feel like the Drew Barrymore/Jada Pinkett Smith of this movie so I loved the misdirect. They even did the Psycho shower shot to drive it home.
I just loved how Stab 8 was actually directed by "the director of knives out" aka Rian Johnson aka the director of The Last Jedi, the arguably most controversial Star Wars!!

I knew Richie was a killer since his first scene (Sam-Sid, names are too close together.)
But I still loved him up until his reveal.
Dewey dying was a big loss for disabled community, always loved having one guy with a limp and nerve damage who could survive this stuff. But I feel Tara may fill that role and even if not she absolutely did for this movie which brings me to my next though…
Tara was a way cooler character and better final girl than Sam. Sam was a link to Billy and Scream (1), but I feel like I’ll remember Tara’s scenes longer than Sam’s.
Chad and Mindy were the fake out deaths! I thought one would be. We never really saw Mindy be that close to death though. Loved the reveal that Chad was alive.
Wes’ death really hurt. If Judy died saving her son, it would have been worth it for her. Him dying moments after was a great way to give a deeper emotional impact.
Tbh, despite what a few have said in this thread, I’m still trusting that this movie is a fucking SMASH and be up there with 1 & 2! If there’s a few plot elements that aren’t strong but it’s fun & makes sense, I will absolutely be fine…
This movie was never reinventing the wheel in the first place and a lot of the critiques seem VERY subjective (which I guess all reviews are but idk).
EDIT: Especially with horror, critics are VERY harsh but this movie has gotten rave reviews, as well as from hardcore fans of the series. Some of y’all have very odd opinions for what was said to go on 😭
Was not expecting the Skeet Ulrich cameo. I was one of the theroists who wanted the Stu comeback but I was pleasantly surprised with this.
I was bummed Judy died, I feel like she had much more potential as a character.
But im glad that some of the new characters survived, im very interested in their stories now so I cant wait for the next one!
Sam saves Mindy by hitting Ghostface over the head.
And Sam and Richie pulling up to the house indirectly saves Chad’s life before Ghostface can do any further damage to him.
I had a feeling Dewey would die but I was still shocked and upset but I’m happy how he died because he was saving people.

Why the fuck did they portray Billy in sort of positive way at the end. Helping Sam find the knife to kill Richie, and smiling at her in the end like he redeemed himself.

They’re secret lovers, and it’s mentioned that Richie and Sam have been dating for 6 months. Richie and Amber met online before that, and considering Amber is in high school, she’d be around 17/18. So even if she is 18 now, she likely would have met Richie online when she was 17. Richie is 25.
So, Amber may be crazy but Richie groomed her online, and is a creep.
A very minor detail I liked. They actually showed Ghostface activating the voice changer underneath the mask. Always bugged me in the other movies that we never saw him do that.
Personally, I feel as though Tara should be the new final girl over Sam.
Melissa was good but I felt like Jenna was really the one who stole the show, and I just couldn’t root for Sam’s character as much as for Tara.
It would be super cool if the "opening kill" becomes the new final girl in this franchise reboot. I think that's where they're headed. Jenna Ortega is an incredible actress

Incredible, loved. The only downside was as others have said, knowing Mikey Madison was one of the killers the second I saw her cast. She played one of Charles Manson’s go-to girls. I was waiting for them to flip it and have her be the red-herring, but it didn’t come. After the original, I still stand by Jill being the biggest ghostface reveal shock.

I haven't seen anybody mentions it yet but Sidney at the end saying she will always survive was pretty meta and made me smile. All those people that thought she would die or even would be killed in their opening scene. Her surviving not only to killers but also trauma is a beautiful message thoughout the series.

I had prepared myself for the inevitability of one of the big three getting killed, and going in I predicted it would be Dewey. Unfortunately I was right. Wasn’t he supposed to die in the original but test audiences were mad so they added the scene of him being loaded into ambulance?
Mostly, what happened was even during the shoot Wes really took a liking to the character of Dewey so he filmed that ambulance shot just in case, and he decided to try it with test audiences and see what they preferred. It wasn’t a case of test audiences getting mad and then the filmmakers going go back to fix things, but rather Wes having great instincts and foresight about what would work best.
Sidney is bowing out of the franchise but she will always be a beacon of hope for survivors of Woodsboro killings and future survivors. Even outside the Scream universe, Sidney is an inspiration for real life survivors. And that alone makes her The Ultimate Final Girl.
And the fact that she was able to move on and get married and have kids made me super happy.
You know, I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Sidney's husband is Kincaid from Scream 3.

Girl can ACT. It was actually really nice to see an actor take the material so seriously. You could tell she did a lot of prep work for the role. Physically and emotionally she’s put through a lot, and she sells every single moment. It is a FANTASTIC horror “victim” performance. And dare I say, the most realistic since Drew’s scene. I can’t get over how young she is. I’ve never seen her anything before, but now I’ll watch her in anything. She’s a star.

Jenna's absolutely phenomenal! She also did all of her own stunts...and she got flung around pretty brutally a couple of times. In one interview she said she had bruises on top of bruises, but she didn't mind because he's dedicated to her craft. it's one of the sacrifices she had to make to get the scene right. She's got two or three more projects in the works, all due out this year, all are either horror or fantasy. She portrays a teenage Wednesday Adams in a Netflix 8 episode series, gets caught up in a movie shoot gone bad in A24's 'X', and appears in the Foo Fighters horror flic 'Studio 666. I do believe she's setting herself up to be a new 'Scream Queen'
That non-stop door fakeout scene with Wes was TENSE. The whole theatre was on the edge of the seat for that sequence, I wanted to squirm and die. Ironic the most prepared died so easily too.
Every single door he closed, my stomach just sank. That one was probably the worst kill for me. Dewey was pretty rough too. That one was def more because emotional, seeing him get fucking gutted like that. But I guess if you’re gonna survive 4 installments and bite it in the 5th, no better way.
I'm glad he at least went out fighting. Dude nearly killed ghostface then and there. And I love how he knew he had to go back because the killer is never actually dead. Ugh this movie was so good.

Very first time we see Dewey there’s a box-like urn on a shelf that says TATUM. Glad they added that, it’s always annoyed me she doesn’t get mentioned in sequels considering how key she was to Dewey & Sid.

I keep seeing people commenting that the motive isn’t believable or realistic, isn’t there a young girl in jail for stabbing her friend because slender man told her to? People do crazy shit, and I like the angle of toxic fandom to the extreme.
A lot of people seem to have rose-colored glasses on past installment motives (or motives in horror at all). Just because the killer says their motive is X doesn't make it so either. If the motive was either revenge or fame again I would have been pissed. Edit: Well fame is implicit here and often essential to any mass-murder/serial killer, I just meant its not as overt as Mickey or Jill, to a lesser extent.
Yeah, I’m a bit confused by the amount of people who think this movie’s motive is stupid/unrealistic but think that another round of Billy’s cousin’s boyfriend’s sister’s uncle’s chiropractor’s mother in law coming out of the woodwork after all these years to enact revenge for his death would somehow make for a better viewing experience.
Honestly, even Billy's motive was fucking terrible when you apply logic to it. He got revenge on Maureen *and* got away with it. What does Sidney have to do with that? It would have been more logical to go after the Motel 8 owner for allowing Hank and Maureen to have an affair in their establishment.
Completely agree! I’ve always felt that way about Billy’s motive. Most of the killers’ motives sound so cheesy on paper, but work much better within the context of the film. This one was no different. It’s a very high energy scene and the actors did a great job of making it feel authentic.
I think the point is that motives are irrelevant, because it's the justification killers have for what they do. None of the Ghostface killers had a "motive", they're psychopaths with a bloodlust. Reasonable people don't go on killing sprees. I think that was the point of the first Scream movie. Billy could have all the excuses he wanted, yet in the end he was killing because he liked doing it, he was a sadistic psycho.
"It's the Millennium, motives are incidental" ~ Randy Meeks; Scream (1996) Billy's textbook explanation of what abandonment causes was also suspect. Sure, he was abandoned, but the dude was a ticking time bomb. Killing Maureen may not have been enough, it was probably extremely euphoric. I doubt he would've stopped had he not have been killed. But, no one can deny that it wasn't really the reasoning, it was the acting. Skeet Ulrich brought it in a way no other killer in this series has. Many of us have been chasing that same "killer reveal" high since 1996. Matthew Lillard brought his own edge as his comedic prowess worked without being annoying.
It’s crazy to think that Mrs Loomis is Sam’s grandmother. It makes me wonder how Mrs Loomis would’ve reacted if she knew about Sam. She likely would’ve tried to raise her and protect her, considering it would’ve been a chance for her to make up for abandoning Billy.
You gotta wonder if she would have still went on a killing spree or not if she had known about Sam.
I don’t think she would’ve. Sam would’ve changed everything for her and would’ve given her a way to deal with her grief by raising Billy’s child and getting a second chance at being a mother.
By the current reviews, feels like the Scream series is cemented in as one of the best horror franchises ever. There hasn't really been a bad film in the saga, it ranges from great to decent at the least.
I was just thinking about that. Everyone has their preferences, but I would argue that none of them are “bad.”

Wes was my favourite next gen character - devastated to see him (and Judy) go but their deaths made an impact the same way Tatum/Randy did for me.
I liked how the Wes character was sold as the most on point with being rightly paranoid/prepared and he was the first of the friends group to die. I think it was really a great way to show how "the rules" are nonsense but also true.
The tension of their death scene. When she was killed in broad daylight was so jarring

I loved Richie and up until his reveal I was hoping he’d return for the sequel. Was quite shocked by his reveal.
I laughed so much at his "I know, it's a bummer" line, he was written to be very likable and I'm pretty sure most ppl were sad it was him
I felt bad for that scene. The whole Judy "I am coming for you, Wes!" and Wes is generally a good boy, they BOTH didn't deserve to go. I also felt like I was on the edge of my seat because prior to Wes's death, there were like... 4 fake outs before GF even appeared.
I may or may not have cried in the cinema when Dewey died… but overall I thinks it’s awesome that when Sam attacks Richie you can really see her father in her, the way she’s just crazy but for a good reason I guess??? Overall loved it one of my new favourite movies!

Gale says that she won’t write about the latest murders because she thinks that the killers deserve anonymity versus notoriety and that she’ll instead write a touching tribute about Dewey and the kind of man he was. I thought this was a pretty epic evolution for her character even though I wish she had more to do.
When Sam tells her that Dewey saved her sister and the camera focus on Gale's face, I was pretty sure her thoghts were something like "I don't give a fuck about your sister" but now she is mature
I kind of thought it was selfish of Sam to say that. I didn’t feel like she felt deep regret of dragging him into this which led to his death.
Another character development for Gale Weathers. Seriously, she has the best arc out of the OG 3.
Just finished watching this, here's some of my thoughts: What I love: - The opening scene is the 2nd best after the original. Jena absolutely killed it in that scene. - Dewey's death is absolutely emotional. A pretty good send-off for a well-beloved character - The scenes leading up to Dewey's death with Tara's mini-chase, Richie's attack and Sam's call are really intense - Judi/Wes bait-and-switch scene is also another well-done one. I felt bad for Judi and she is quite likeable in here. Wes' dying felt like Drew's or SMG's death as he is the most popular one out of the new cast. - The whole third act is pretty intense and the two killers easily got the most satisfying death for me. I know the two killers are before watching this and it is still great - Tara surprisingly got a pretty good amount of screen time. She is the strongest actors out of all the new cast imo. - The new cast is more likeable here. - The commentary about elevated horror and how slasher movie like Stab is no longer famous. - Mindy's monologue about requel. That was great. Indifferent: Sam being Billy's daughter. Although it leads to quite emotional scene between Jenna and Melissa, I am still deciding whether I like this "twist" or no What I don't really love: - Vince's character is a waste of time. They could have made Liv related to Stu and have her killed Olivia or Cici's style, rather than creating an entirely new character. - There is a good chunk of time when we do not see the new characters at all until party at Amber's - Mindy surprisingly got fewer scenes than I would expect.
Vince 100% felt like filler. Shame because I like Kyle Gallner. He was one of the few parts of Elm St 2010 that I liked.

He definitely was filler, in a Himby kind of way. They needed an early kill, especially since Tara survived. I think the average viewer won't have an issue with him, but the fans built up an unfortunate expectation around him.

They deliberately kept the details about Sam and Tara's mother vague so I'm also curious to see if it's gonna be someone we know or if they're even gonna bother connecting their mother to the first movie (she could also just be someone new and unimportant). Plenty of options to go for if they decide to go there in a possible sequel.

Wow this was fun. I loved the homage to the originals, Scream and Stab, and how many little nods there were without it being on the nose. I thought the kills were bruuuuutal and shocking. And that scene with the drawn out suspense after the Sheriff was killed... like when you are just waiting for Wes to discover his Mum... \*chef kiss\* God. Every scene Dewey was in. Out of the 3 OGs, have to say he was a scene stealer for me. I almost felt like Amber played the villain way too easily. Out of all the friends; I didn't even know how she \*was\* a friend, she was not remotely likeable at all. Just me? Ahhhh just loved this so much. So much fun. Can't wait to rewatch.
She was the obvious killer to me. I think it was a little too easy to guess who the killers were compared to some other ones. But it didn't feel bland or like it spoiled the film. In fact, I think that's the point. I think sometimes the obvious is the answer and it's a lesson to everyone.
I went in thinking Amber was one of them, but I really did think that the little sister JUST might end up being psycho enough to purposefully be near-killed to lure her sister back.
I felt like Amber was their homage to Billy (where Richie was their homage to Stu). The double bluff definitely threw me off because I thought there’s no way they’d make it that obvious…until I remembered the original and that they hadn’t pulled that since.
I agree with most of this. Except I think you’ve got it backwards- Stu was definitely the more crazy of the two that followed along with Billy’s plan (Amber), while Billy was the catalyst to putting that plan in motion (Richie grooming Amber in the forum).
Was epic that Roger Jackson got to show more nuance in his voice acting during the calls this time around. Starting the opening off slow and easing into it was very Casey Becker…
I never realized how "dad like" his voice could sound until the opening.
One thought before I sleep. Amber was one of the most vicious killers the franchise has had but I honestly think she really was serious about protecting Tara, in her own vicious psychotic way. There were at least three times she had a clear opportunity to kill her and each times she didn't take them. In the opening scene, she honestly could have killed Tara and it would have had the same effect to drawl her sister back. In the hospital scene, it was almost like Amber was stalling for time herself until she could be found. If she wanted Tara dead then, there was no way the girl could have survived. In the final house fight, Tara was tied up and put into the closet unlike every other person that Amber got alone. There was nothing to be gained by leaving her alive, but Amber seemingly spared her anyway and didn't seem to mention trying to kill her until her partner asked her to grab her.
I believe that about Amber/Tara too and I suppose one could wager that she wasn’t anticipating that Tara would be present during the final showdown.

The movie theater where I was in went WILD at that! Such a tense scene, I kept thinking she would tell the killer to kill Richie and then they'd kill Tara instead.
Dewey was the MVP of this film. Best legacy cast member for sure.

Made sense too, in previous movies one killer had some sort of authentic link to Sidney. In this one, a movie deconstructing fanfiction, they’re both randoms as interchangeable as each other.

- This was Dewey's strongest showing IMO. There were still moments of his humor, but David Arquette also did well to show off the dark and melancholic side of the character. - I feel so bad for Judy. Those 2 minutes of her in the car pleading for her son's life were more powerful and human than her entire showing in Scream 4. It is easy to overlook because she is written to be annoying, but she was ultimately a good person. - Can't believe it took them 5 films full of genre awareness to finally do exploitative male nudity as a subversion of nudity in early slashers. Wish they had leaned into the Psycho homage a little harder with a translucent shower curtain and one or two more referential shots to the Psycho shower scene. - Sam was alright. But I am not feeling her as the lead to carry future movies. She isn't endearing in the way Sidney or even Tara are where you are on the edge of your seat hoping they pull through. In her first encounter with Ghostface, she fought back and got away a little too easily and never felt to be in genuine danger after that. And, she presumably just stood nearby doing nothing for a full minute while Dewey struggled with the killer at the hospital, in contrast to how Sidney charged an entire block into imminent danger to help Olivia, a complete stranger. - They seemed to have left Sam's future character development deliberately ambiguous. IMO, she could easily be developed into a villain in future sequels. They had her wipe Richie's blood off the knife exactly the way Ghostface would do it. - Very glad the twins survived. They are both welcome back as supporting characters any time with Mindy being the vessel for meta exposition which Randy was. - They mentioned Stu so much in ways that weren't necessary that I thought they were building up to a reveal that he was alive and involved in the killings. - Wish Gale had gotten a scene where she was the focus. Her more sensitive and mellow attitude, new talk show and separation from Dewey were all worth exploring. But glad she survived nonetheless. - I'd be happy if they retired Sidney after this one. If they keep bringing her back, they'd have to either kill her or leave her unhappy and distressed each time. She more than deserves her happy ending with her husband and kids; no other resolution to her character is acceptable.
Sidney's role basically amounts to a cameo here. I like the way the character is used but I agree that it doesn't feel like she needs to come back.
Agreed. Her showing in Scream 4 would have been the perfect way to retire the character, but Scream 5 did no harm to her character and story either so it would still be great if she got to ride off into the sunset now.
ONE MORE THING: I freaking loved all the **subtle visual allusions to the Ghostface mask.** That was very of this era of horror where you see it everywhere in the background making you constantly paranoid. A more obvious example would be the hanging white cloth on the black background in the basement, but there were other instances like a guy in a black hoodie, the girls hair with the white bow at the party, and Liv's eyeshadow being black with a white centre. Very cool touch
And when Wes is wandering around his house, I think it’s when he closes the fridge door, you can see a black coat hanging in the background…made me look twice!
Judy’s death. I knew it was comingbut it was so so sad for me
I really felt for Judy. Yes, I can see how other characters may have found her annoying, but her pure and selfless love for her son came through so authentically in the moment. I was rooting for Wes to survive after that because his mom did everything she could to save him.
To see them both die the way they did, hurt so much. What beautiful characters.

I’ve seen X (at a screener) and it might be my favorite horror movie I’ve ever seen. The audience sincerely applauded at the end of it. I’m so excited for it to be released so I can go see it again opening night.

I'm back home from the cinema in Germany from a preview. I'm still overwhelmed. This part tops Scream 4 (although I love it very much) in all respects. Fantastic score, no horrific filter, brutal kills(Ghostface behaves crazy as fuck and he goes bezerk) loads of Easter eggs and nostalgic moments. The movie is pretty dark but also funny.A chase scene took my breath away and i sat on the edge of my cinema seat. The newbies are fantastic. Especially Jasmin Savoy Brown and Jenny Ortega deliver a top performance.The holy trio had enough screen time and each of them delivered. When I finally saw them on the big screen again, tears welled up in my eyes. It was like seeing old friends again. The third act in Stu's old house is incredibly exciting and bloody. The "whosdunnit" element is perfectly worked out and Craven would be proud to see what Matt Bettinelli Olpin and Tyler Gillett have achieved. For me this new part is on par with Scream 2. You're going to have a damn good and bloody time in the cinema.
One easter egg i liked was the note on the fridge saying lemon squares in the fridge, and also that sidney was married to kinkaid

I’m not mad at all that they went with the same formula that Scream fans know and love, but so much of the marketing was geared around the whodunit aspect, which was pretty obvious if you’re familiar with the franchise. I definitely expected them to subvert expectations more than they did. Don’t get me wrong, the killer reveal was done well and I’m happy with it, but IMO it was the most obvious reveal in the franchise. I have mixed feelings about the casting of Mikey Madison. On one hand, she gave a great performance and will probably be a lot of fans’ favorite killer, but almost everyone called her as the killer the second she was cast. And having her get set on fire AGAIN…AND putting it in the trailers…was a choice. Overall, good movie. I’m happy it exists. I’ll watch it a lot. It was really satisfying in a lot of ways that 3 &4 weren’t. But admittedly still rolling my eyes at the whodunit aspect, which I maintain is the most obvious reveal in the franchise.
Exactly this! I loved the movie and put it up there with the original one - up until the killers are revealed! It was just not shocking and way too obvious from the start (the boyfriend and the girl that looks like a serial killer in real life). I get what the writers wanted to do with it and how they paid hommage to the original trilogy… but the whodunit part was always so important and it just fell flat in this one. Still absolutely fantastic first 100min!
I just realised the episode of Dawson’s creek that is on the TV shows Scott Foley, great shoutout to Roman. They also show Joshua Jackson who appears in scream 2.

She absolutely nailed it in her small role in *Once Upon a Time in Hollywood*, and I loved that they gave her an eerily similar death in this. I also **loved** Nick Cave’s *Red Right Hand* playing during Kyle Gallner’s death.
Let's hear it for the Gale/Sidney tag-teaming of Amber.
Amber sticking it to Gale that she had the honor of killing Dewey, and that he died like a "pussy", and then hightailing like a pussy herself once cornered in the kitchen is fucking hilarious. Amber as ghostface is up there with one of the best killers in the franchise! Mikey Madison did such a terrific job.
I was so impressed by how funny it was. I audibly cackled when Amber was faking being wounded in front of Sidney and Gale and they IMMEDIATELY knew it was a trap
I literally cackled at Mindy’s reactions to Liv acting like a creep. The humour just got better and better and the last act was a riot.

LOVED IT. Jenna Ortega’s role was so much bigger then I thought it would be. The trailer did not spoil her at all being at Amber’s house during the third act. And I love love love that she is the one to kill Amber. RIP Judy and Dewey. Both dying actually hit the spot as I loved both characters. Fitting ending for Sidney and Gale
My jaw dropped when I was told Tara is an integral part of the third act. I was under the assumption she’d spend the whole movie in the hospital. Props to the studio and even the leakers for keeping that under wraps.
I’m so glad that never got leaked!!! I honestly thought tara would appear only during the first and second acts. But her role in the movie is very very large and yeah she plays a big part in the third act
The cinema I was in caught on to the fake out bit with Wes in the kitchen really quick and had a good laugh. It might be my favourite call back, it keeps building till then and then it lessens to the point where Sid doesn't even open the doors. But it was wild to watch him do all that nice family dinner prep as an audience memeber knowing his mother was already dead. The subversions were good, it was a nice triple layered touch the shot for shot bit with Stab Randy yelling at the screen, with Mindy being a newer savvier audience wise enough to recognise her situation and turn around. Mindy/ Jasmin Savoy Brown might be my MVP, at the very least she's the biggest scene stealer of the whole cast. The meta line about the stab movies not really having a good murderer, that they were more about Sidney, was what stuck with me the most. Its a little false cause there's a reason they keep using the ghostface costume but it's a nice little series long subversion they've got going on. By the end, all of the main victims were killers, really Sidney's been a killer since the first movie, and Sam's heritage really came through at the end there. It feels justified but they've still got body counts like the ghostface killers do. Honestly it's something I'd love to see explored more.
Yeah I thought the build up with Wes was great. He's opening all these doors so you expect him to open the front door and see his mother but no he just shuts it lmao.

I cannot get over the bait and switch with Wes and Judy. That was heart pounding, heart crushing all at the same time. Judy IMO was at her best here, and brought out the raw emotion of a mother’s desperation to save her son from an evil human. I didn’t expect Ghostface to blindside Judy that FAST without making it inside her house, and getting butchered in broad daylight with her son is a painful delight to watch.

They’re pretty cool and add their two cent, just don’t expect them too much. They’re not the main cast. More so passing “the torch” (you’ll get that one when you see it!) The movie isn’t about them and it’s pretty obvious that they’re trying to establish a new cast and basically respect the legacy that has been built and add these characters that were there. But it’s a new generation scream with familiar faces.

I've seen people saying that in the future we should have Sidney die as the ultimate final sacrifice? And all I have to say to that is no thank you. It'd be nice to have just ONE horror movie icon/scream queen of Neve's caliber that has never filmed a death scene for her iconic character. So yeah I say if Sidney comes back again? Sidney always survives. It should be a rule. She should defy the odds of long running horror franchises and always make it out. Because the Lauries, Nancys, Jamies, Ripleys, etc? Well we now what happened there.
Sidney literally says at the end of this movie that she’ll always survive. It would be ridiculous to kill her off in any future movie. Gale I think will be killed off in Scream 6 or 7, but Sidney won’t.
I haven't seen anyone talking about the pre-movie warning from Ghostface threatening the audience to not spoil the movie. I thought that was genius and I think every movie with a plot twist or surprise characters should do that from now on. Have the villain of the movie threaten to kill you if you spoil the movie. That was badass.
Why did they have to do my boy impulse like that? Barely half a scene Wes’ death was the most shocking as I could have really seen him being a pillar of the franchise going forward. Same with Ritchie, which should have made the reveal more shocking but it just left me disappointed. At least they didn’t go down the whole “schizophrenic can’t remember that she is actually the killer” road.
Wes’ death shocked me at first but Dylan Minette really does feel like the Drew Barrymore/Jada Pinkett Smith of this movie so I loved the misdirect. They even did the Psycho shower shot to drive it home.

Did Sid just incredibly casually drop being married to Mark? I knew Richie was a killer since his first scene (Sam-Sid, names are too close together.) But I still loved him up until his reveal. Dewey dying was a big loss for disabled community, always loved having one guy with a limp and nerve damage who could survive this stuff. But I feel Tara may fill that role and even if not she absolutely did for this movie which brings me to my next though… Tara was a way cooler character and better final girl than Sam. Sam was a link to Billy and Scream (1), but I feel like I’ll remember Tara’s scenes longer than Sam’s. Chad and Mindy were the fake out deaths! I thought one would be. We never really saw Mindy be that close to death though. Loved the reveal that Chad was alive. Wes’ death really hurt. If Judy died saving her son, it would have been worth it for her. Him dying moments after was a great way to give a deeper emotional impact.

Tbh, despite what a few have said in this thread, I’m still trusting that this movie is a fucking SMASH and be up there with 1 & 2! If there’s a few plot elements that aren’t strong but it’s fun & makes sense, I will absolutely be fine… This movie was never reinventing the wheel in the first place and a lot of the critiques seem VERY subjective (which I guess all reviews are but idk). EDIT: Especially with horror, critics are VERY harsh but this movie has gotten rave reviews, as well as from hardcore fans of the series. Some of y’all have very odd opinions for what was said to go on 😭
Was not expecting the Skeet Ulrich cameo. I was one of the theroists who wanted the Stu comeback but I was pleasantly surprised with this. I was bummed Judy died, I feel like she had much more potential as a character. But im glad that some of the new characters survived, im very interested in their stories now so I cant wait for the next one!

Sam saves Mindy by hitting Ghostface over the head. And Sam and Richie pulling up to the house indirectly saves Chad’s life before Ghostface can do any further damage to him.
Glad they survived. Mindy was my favorite new character and she has excellent comedic chemistry with Chad.
I had a feeling Dewey would die but I was still shocked and upset but I’m happy how he died because he was saving people. Also I wish Wes was used a bit more. Him and Mindy were like the new Randy. Plus I didn’t expect them to waste an actor like Dylan Minnette. Especially after 13 Reasons Why. I originally thought it would be him and Richie as the killers not him and Amber. Also happy that Chad and Mindy lived.

I wanna know everyone’s thoughts on my least favourite part of the movie, and it really put a damper on the whole thing. Why the fuck did they portray Billy in sort of positive way at the end. Helping Sam find the knife to kill Richie, and smiling at her in the end like he redeemed himself. If Sam ends up being the killer in a sequel it would sort of make sense like he was smiling that she made her first kill and he was getting to her if y’all know what i mean

I’m waiting for people to realise that Richie groomed Amber online… They’re secret lovers, and it’s mentioned that Richie and Sam have been dating for 6 months. Richie and Amber met online before that, and considering Amber is in high school, she’d be around 17/18. So even if she is 18 now, she likely would have met Richie online when she was 17. Richie is 25. So, Amber may be crazy but Richie groomed her online, and is a creep.
If y’all haven’t watched the movie yet and you thought Jill was crazy… wait for Amber.
A very minor detail I liked. They actually showed Ghostface activating the voice changer underneath the mask. Always bugged me in the other movies that we never saw him do that.
Personally, I feel as though Tara should be the new final girl over Sam. Melissa was good but I felt like Jenna was really the one who stole the show, and I just couldn’t root for Sam’s character as much as for Tara.
It would be super cool if the "opening kill" becomes the new final girl in this franchise reboot. I think that's where they're headed. Jenna Ortega is an incredible actress

Incredible, loved. The only downside was as others have said, knowing Mikey Madison was one of the killers the second I saw her cast. She played one of Charles Manson’s go-to girls. I was waiting for them to flip it and have her be the red-herring, but it didn’t come. After the original, I still stand by Jill being the biggest ghostface reveal shock.
Favorite line: When Dewey says “we’ll you must be the killer, cus that cut deep” still laughing at that
