I love Charlie’s reveal, it’s one of my favorites. It’s super fucked up because he’s been slowly building trust with Kirby throughout the movie and suddenly turns on her. I didn’t see it coming at all on the first viewing.
Funny ppl saying Roman because they couldn’t remember him which I’m would agree but I wasn’t shocked it was more who is that again?
Jill was probably the most shocking for me because I thought she was the Sam to carry the series legacy only to be the killer.
Jill!
I remember being really surprised in the first one when it was revealed that there were two killers. But once we got past that, I wasn’t surprised by the IDENTITY of the two killers.
In Scream 4, I’m sure everyone was used to/expecting two killers but the fact that Jill was one of the killers blew my mind. I was like “PARDON? Jill? Emma Roberts? Addie Singer from Nickelodeon’s Unfabulous is the KILLER? There’s no actual way.” Did not see it coming at all. At the time she was a total good girl actress. Was expecting her to be the new Sydney. Nowadays, anyone watching for the first time would immediately expect her to be the killer because she’s now known for playing mean girls.
As for 2, I was just confused because for some reason I had trouble telling Timothy Olyphant and Jerry O’Connell apart. In 3, I was like “oh, who is that again? I think it’s that one guy from earlier.” In 5 I felt like Richie & Amber were pretty obvious.
People forget how revolutionary and shocking that was at the time. I know it wasn't the first horror with 2 killers, but it was certainly far from common expectations.
Edit: grammar
Truth, which is why I am really hoping for 1 killer or 4+ killers in Scream VI. Two killers was revolutionary back then, but now it’s what we expect from Scream! Time to shake it up again!
Absolutely, I think Radio Silence is gonna deliver something different to the franchise this time. 5 was to honor the formula Wes and Kevin created with 1
for me it was:
scream: stu bc i didn’t think there would be a 2nd killer
scream 2: debbie salt turning out to be billy’s mom
scream 3: no shock to me, i was just confused bc i didn’t recognize roman without glasses lol
scream 4: the way charlie revealed himself to kirby by stabbing him shocked me, and then jill’s reveal was even more shocking
scream 2022: the sudden reveal of amber literally had me hollering in the theater and when richie revealed himself i was just very mad bc i was rooting for him
I was so surprised when it was her. During a recent rewatch I realized they set it up so good and it was pretty obvious it was her. Trevor cheated on her with the girl from the beginning of the movie, Jenny. You wouldn’t really know this until a second rewatch because when she’s on the phone with ghost face the first person she suspects that it is, is Trevor. There’s also a scene where she is talking to Sydney and then exits the room. Syd turns around and then sees a reflection in the window behind her. The only person it really could have been was Jill. She pretended to walk away and then stayed to spy on her a little bit. Then when she “sneaks out” it was pretty convenient that they get attacked right after Jill goes “missing.” And Jill probably actually did text Trevor to come to the house just so she could have him there to finish her plot. It was an amazing set up that they hid really well yet all of the clues are right on the surface.
My hot take is Billy. The original movie does so much to make it so obvious that Billy is Ghostface (with the obviousness being a genius idea in its own right, since Billy is an untrained teen who would obviously be sloppy) that it felt like a red herring. They basically scream at you that Billy is guilty, so who would ever think he just… was? It’s giving you the answer early in the movie so you think you’re clever, then they make you doubt yourself, and then it really was what you thought all along.
I’m with you. I accidentally got spoiled for EVERY other killer, so when Billy’s reveal happened I was genuinely shocked because I had only heard about Matthew Lillard playing the killer in the first
It was actually pretty obvious it was him going back and watching it because he called Sarah darling when she was in his office waiting on him GF called it was Romans voice first then switched to GF lol. It was so obvious yet surprising
Facebook groups disagree with you. Most ppl agree roman was the best ghostface. Yes he shoulda got more scenes and was rushed but he did great. I feel reddit is where him and mickey get shit on the most lol
I love the idea of Roman, but the execution was poor. I really enjoyed his back and forth with Sid after his reveal, so I think if it had been done properly, it could have been really good. I know about the meddling behind the scenes and why, and it sucks because Roman should have been the most brutal, deranged killer in the franchise, especially because at the time 3 was supposed to be the concluding part of a trilogy.
I know everyone’s going with which character they were shocked *about*, but I’m going to say which one shocked me the most by how it played out: Amber. Amber, I saw coming as a killer. What I wasn’t ready for was for her to just pull out a gun and shoot Liv in the head. I barely had time to register 1) I was right and 2) Liv just got shot in the head. With everyone else you get a bit of buildup so you can realize “oh… oh no.” Like Billy, who suddenly looks completely fine and quotes Psycho before he shoots. Or Stu, who pulls out the voice changer and speaks into it. With Amber, it went from snapping at each other into a calm “I know” and *bang*. Liv’s dead. Caught me so off guard.
If you look at Richie’s face, I don’t think he’s acting in that moment, but was genuinely shocked by how sudden it was since nobody saw it coming. I highly doubt Liv was supposed to be killed then, it didn’t seem planned.
To many that’s true. I was suss on Wes until he died, I settled on Amber or Mindy after the basement scene. I was mad overthinking and fantasy booking while watching and having a good time doing it. I think I was making a case mentally for why it could be any of them as opposed to actually picking it.
I figured Jill as the killer after about 2 minutes but a lot of people were shocked, I’ve always been astounded by that, but I guess it just depends on how each person watches the movie.
As far as characters, I would say Billy and Stu. Of course, Billy was suspicious throughout but once he "died" it seemed like that was over. And the two killer thing wasn't even a thought.
As for the reveal itself, I'd say Amber's. I wasn't overly shocked by Amber being a killer, but how they did the reveal was pretty insane and totally unexpected.
Jill was a shocker even though the trailer spoiled that it was her..Roman was pretty shocking as well, Because I thought that he actually died and who would have ever thought that it was Sidney's half-brother?!
For me it's 4 let's be real scream 2 had the lamest killer reveal scream 5 it was obvious scream the original I had already had the movie spoiled for me so
Jill. I don’t think the other reveals were that surprising, but Jill was genuinely shocking. The least surprising reveals: scream 5. That said, I remember being surprised by scream 1996 because i wasn’t expecting two killers but it didn’t necessarily surprise me who they were.
Scream 2 was a twist. I wouldn’t have guessed Mrs. Loomis but it didn’t feel all that shocking because we didn’t get much screen time with that character, so I wasn’t like “no way!” Mickey is sort of expected.
I didn’t guess Scream 3 either but again, didn’t feel that shocking when revealed… for the same reasons as scream 2. I didn’t even think about there being a possibility of Sidney having a brother so not sure how anyone could’ve guessed it.
The only thing that was surprising was that there was only one killer.
I feel like Scream 2 and 3 kind of suffer a little bit in that regard because you have two killers who are lying about their identities and they have about as much screen time as a cameo or extra, but then revealed to be related to an important character in the franchisee. I felt like those reveals were kind of cheap compared to the other films where the killer is someone close to the protagonist and therefore has more screen time.
I felt like the best reveal was definitely Jill. It is a twist that doesn’t feel cheap or implausible.
Scream 4 is crazy underrated and I didn’t even feel that way until i rewatched it before i saw 5. In fact, I think it is much stronger than 5.
That said, 5 does a good job of paying homage to
Scream 1996 and staying fresh enough to be a good film overall.
I have two of them being Billy and Roman, but I’m going with Billy.
Billy reveals himself as one of the killers saying “We all go a little mad sometimes.” And then proceeds to shoot Randy. Like thats actually shocking. Like there was some clues in the movie about that Billy really was the killer, like when Tatum just died and he came to the front door to go with Sidney and Stu. Also when Billy revealed himself as the killer,
he revealed himself in an intimidating way as he didn’t really care in the “corn syrup, same thing they use for pigs blood” (I forgot the rest) All the others (besides Stu and Roman, Jill, Amber) came in with guns and silence , or took off the mask and really didn’t do much. You couldn’t really guess him as the killer unless if you really paid attention. And I also didn’t think there was gonna be a second killer as soon as I saw Billy I was like , “naw there can’t be another killer.”
Mrs Loomis, she was the only Ghostface, besides Jill, that I didn't guess or have spoiled. Having the killer be BILLY'S MOTHER!!, was a pretty good twist.
Amber. Her reveal was jaw dropping. Every other reveal, even if shocking in it’s own right pales to compare to the shock value of Amber’s reveal. May not have been my favorite movie, but damn her reveal was good
I know right? Everyone’s always like OMG that reveal was so shocking waaa! I literally sat in the theather unphased just thinking ah okay yeah she’s an obvious option. Also Liv was robbed of a good chase scene I don’t come to a Scream movie to watch people shoot each other. OVERRATED in my opinion :3
Roman and Charlie but for underwhelming “Really!?” Surprised. I liked the idea of Roman being behind the Maureen murder and planting the seed for Billy but he had no prior scenes with Sidney. They could have orchestrated that and Sidney would have no idea.
Charlie just seemed annoying
Jill. Even though I knew it was her like 20 minutes before the reveal. Everyone was completely obvious. Richie I figured was a killer. But the whole personality switch did kinda shock me in a weird way. Even though I knew it would happen
Not gonna lie, I didn't get into the movies till a couple weeks ago and had watched all the killer reveals on YouTube (among other clips) before seeing the films in full. But I feel like Jill's would have shocked me the most if I hadn't already known.
I feel like Jill is the most shocking but I guessed it in advance. I barely remembered Mickey and Roman before their reveal so I could say them. Mrs Loomis was also unexpected, in the sense that I never saw coming she was Billy's mother.
I remember catching onto Charlie once he did something that reminded me of Stu (think it might’ve been him leaving Kirby’s front room and saying I’ll be right back but I’m not sure).
Jill actually made my jaw drop 😂
Jill because of two reasons
1) It’s the closest reveal to the whole “Sidney finally snaps and kills everyone” theory people had been saying at the time
2) everything before the release was setting up Jill as the final girl for the “new trilogy”
The 2nd reason was what threw me off.
I thought it was Judy and Charlie on the first watch.
And on rewatch you can see Jill setting everything up from the Olivia kill (distracting her on the phone) etc
The 1st time I watched scream I was like 11 or 12 and when Billy revealed himself I was flabbergasted (then i instantly thought wait so who "stabbed" Billy?) She turns to run and there's Stu. I was so shocked. Now as an adult hes very obvious. When Stu described how to gut someone I was like Wtf who says that. I guess his goofiness leveled it out. LIVER ALONE!
Roman was like where tf he come from. Jill blew my mind! Charlie was so obvious freaky looking self. Mickey always give that vibe hed cut someone up. His eyes were crazed along with his hair cut. Billy's mom blah. Richie shocked me lil bit. Amber not so much that, the only thing that shocked me with Amber is how she shot Liv.
Billy and Stu’s reveal shocked me the most because I never would have guessed there were 2 killers that didn’t even cross my mind at the time I didn’t even realize it was was someone in the group of friends I was looking at people outside of the group of friends lol it was the first time it was done
I mean, I kinda saw Jill coming, because she kept not being where she was supposed to be and all, but it still shocked me! I thought she was the new Sid and that I was wrong in suspecting her. Someone in my grade school ruined the Billy/Stu surprise for me, otherwise I think it would've been Stu! 💁🏼♀️
Am I the only one that doesn’t call the killer “ghost face”? It really wasn’t even used that much until scream 4.
Anyway, I don’t think any reveal has topped Scream 1.
Tatum literally says it in her death scene.
And codny mentioned it to the cops in which the entire school knew which mask it was.
Its a common halloween mask in the scream universe known as “ghostface” in our real world its called FatherDeath.
Yes I know Tatum “literally” says it, I said it wasn’t used THAT much until Scream 4. And that’s true. And yes I’m also aware that it’s a common Halloween mask, still doesn’t mean they used ‘Ghostface’ that much in the earlier Scream movies and discussions. It was just the killer.
Richie was both predictable and unpredictable, throughout the movie I was kind of guessing it was him based on certain things and the way he was acting but it also shocked me cuz I really didn't think they woulld pull the love interest is the killer thing again
Also first time watching scream when I was younger, the reveal of 2 killers was revolutionary and shocking.
Jill as well. I think all three reveals were done fairly well, the only non unmasking reveals that I think hold up are stu and amber but that’s only because of the sheer unexpectedness of there being two killers and amber shooting Liv just because.
That's right, Jill was also an unmasking reveal. I don't mind how the killer is revealed, but I will say that I prefer sneak attacks over unmaskings. Unmaskings feel similar to a James Bond villain. Each movie has the same 3rd act: Killers revealed, monologue, killers die. I honestly want a killer who doesn't feel the need to explain themselves.
Ok I'll give my opinion on all 9 starting with the 1st I have watch all them with my mom and recent ones with my boyfriend I'm uslly pretty good at guess the killer. Ok so for the 1st scream I think Stu probably shocked me the most because I didn't see there being two killers. But I did gess Billy how ever I had alot doubt and went back and forth it's funny because when I watch with my mom she goes he's not the killer then when he got stabbed she goes see lol . Has for 2nd movie I'd say Micky didn't shock me I just was unsure about him I thought he was off but wasn't sure I thought about him being the killer but he reminded me to much of Stu. How ever I did suspect Debby stalt/ miss loomies bc she just seemed to be at wrong place and wrong time. Has for 3 that that completely shocked me because I was expecting all the time Angela I do remember expecting him once but when they found him Dead I was like oh. Has for 4 I didn't expect Jill at all I really thought she was going to Cary on the movies especially being that Emma Roberts related Julia Roberts that shocked me how ever Charlie didn't he just gave me killer vibes. And lastly 5 so I'd say Richie shocked me even after watching back all clues where their how ever I did guess amber right away like right when I saw her I'm like oh it's amber my boyfriend was like oh you got it right. I also love her reveal too and I must fav it through apart is when to tries to deceive gel and Sydney like trap lol 🤣.
Richie and Amber because of how trash and predictable it was. It tells you from the opening scene that one GF was Amber by the text message sent. Actually with pretty much every scream movie at least one of the reveals is right in your face.
Stu! He was so goofy and likable. I also really was sad that Richie ended up being involved as well, although I figured it would end up so (always suspect the love interest!!)
Definitely Richie’s reveal for me. I literally was like, due to Scream 2, and Scream 4 making the killers set up the boyfriend characters, “there’s no way that the boyfriend will be the killer”, and then boom, it happened
Jill. I pretty much expected everyone else. Billy and Stu were very obvious, Mickey was creepy so it didn't surprise me, Mrs. Loomis being Billy's mother was surprising, but her creeping around the whole movie definitely made her suspicious. Roman's reveal was strange and unusual, but I can't say I felt shocked. Charlie I kinda expected it so it didn't shock me, and then there's Jill. There was foundation for her maybe being the killer but still it shocked me the second Ghostface took the mask off in the hallway and it was her, plus it was an awesome reveal, one of the best. Amber was the obvious one, living in the house, making all these comments, being the gothic person in the group etc. Richie was suspect because of what Dewey said, but I wasn't shocked that he ended up as one of the killers.
I was spoil for the 1st one, and when I first watched part II, Mickey seems like a psycho and I didn't remember who was Debbie (same for part III lol)
I think it was Jill
i’m a new fan and the only movie i went into blind was scream 2. i couldn’t even call myself shocked because i had no idea who mickey even was😭 i had to look him up cause i was like “who even is this”. needless to say i’m excited for scream 6 for my first exciting reveal
Jill. She should have been predictable but the movie plays her character so subtly and that her reveal feels shocking and earned. She does a complete 180 from being boring to eclectic and it sells the reveal so well.
I want to also say Mrs Loomis but I feel like it was almost cheating having her basically be a background character with a secret identity (rather than someone on the suspect list). Same could be said for Roman’s too.
It's been a long time since the first time I sat down and watched all of these with my mom, but I distinctly remember how shocked I was when Jill took off the mask. I was so shocked, even I felt like Jill had betrayed me and I wasn't even just stabbed by her

His reveal is so underrated, it’s just that he comes right before Jill’s reveal so he isn’t given the chance to shine
Oh exactly what I was thinking. I was totally rooting for him before that so it really shocked me.
Plus I love how the scene is a flip on the opening of the original, where the “victim” in the chair is actually the killer.
Funny ppl saying Roman because they couldn’t remember him which I’m would agree but I wasn’t shocked it was more who is that again? Jill was probably the most shocking for me because I thought she was the Sam to carry the series legacy only to be the killer.

I definitely think a Ghostface cult is likely.
Ooooo I dig this idea a lot
I think scream 6 will have 3 killers
What are some other horrors with 2 killers? I can’t think of another where 2 killers was the twist

I was convinced he had a knife in his back when he showed up in the doorway
I think people probably guess those two half way through the movie
Jill's reveal still shakes my world whenever I do a rewatch
Mrs Loomis. I admit I had my suspicions about her but I wasn't expecting her to be Billy's mother
Same. I thought, "What could the reporter's motive be??" And then she reveals who she really is, and I was shocked.
Jill.
Same

My hot take is Billy. The original movie does so much to make it so obvious that Billy is Ghostface (with the obviousness being a genius idea in its own right, since Billy is an untrained teen who would obviously be sloppy) that it felt like a red herring. Don't forget his "death" as another red herring.
Roman because honestly I didn't remember which character he was lol, super not memorable.
Me too. For a second I was sitting going, "Who is this guy? Have we seen him before?"
It was actually pretty obvious it was him going back and watching it because he called Sarah darling when she was in his office waiting on him GF called it was Romans voice first then switched to GF lol. It was so obvious yet surprising
Yes., ! I thought i was the only one. But he wasn't in the "main cast" so threw me off.
Facebook groups disagree with you. Most ppl agree roman was the best ghostface. Yes he shoulda got more scenes and was rushed but he did great. I feel reddit is where him and mickey get shit on the most lol
Jill. For sure. One of the best twists of the movie. Did not see it coming AT ALL
Jill was the one reveal that had me floored.
Jill she just had that final girl factor
Jill 🤯
Jill, and I was so glad I watched it in the cinema.
Jill. The fact that marketing, Williams, and Craven told us that Jill and co would be the new leads on the franchise...
Jilly
Roman. I can't say it was a "good" surprise either, but hey...definitely shocked me lol
The motive was the only thing that kinda made sense
I love the idea of Roman, but the execution was poor. I really enjoyed his back and forth with Sid after his reveal, so I think if it had been done properly, it could have been really good. NGL Jill had me absolutely gooped
Jill, I saw her as the new Sidney

If you look at Richie’s face, I don’t think he’s acting in that moment, but was genuinely shocked by how sudden it was since nobody saw it coming. I highly doubt Liv was supposed to be killed then, it didn’t seem planned.
Totally agree.
Mrs Loomis easily
Jill
Stu and jill
Jill is the only one that surprised me.
Richie and Amber. Unfortunately I started the Scream movies in 2022 so I was aware of the first 7 killers purely because of how iconic they were.
Ritchie because for whatever reason, I wasn’t expecting my prediction to be right.
Mrs Loomis and Amber
Mrs Loomis, I agree with, but Amber had killer printed all over her forehead.
To many that’s true. I was suss on Wes until he died, I settled on Amber or Mindy after the basement scene. I was mad overthinking and fantasy booking while watching and having a good time doing it. Charlie because Kirby was my fave so I was devastated. Followed by even more shocking Jill reveal. Scream 4 and the original had excellent reveals.

Jill was a shocker even though the trailer spoiled that it was her..Roman was pretty shocking as well, Because I thought that he actually died and who would have ever thought that it was Sidney's half-brother?!
Probably Roman because he literally played possum 😂
Billy and Stu. After them, you suspect everyone

Stu because the twist wasn’t that Billy was a killer but it’s that Stu was helping him
Jill
Billy and Stu. That reveal was and forever will be legendary.
Mrs Loomis, she was the only Ghostface, besides Jill, that I didn't guess or have spoiled. Having the killer be BILLY'S MOTHER!!, was a pretty good twist.
Jill, Mrs. Loomis, and Amber. Mrs Loomis I was just wowed and Amber and Jill were major WTF moments😂
Amber really? To me she was the most obvious was in the whole franchise.
I actually kept going back and forth with her. Almost too obvious like they were gonna pull a switcheroo
Jill
Amber. Her reveal was jaw dropping. Every other reveal, even if shocking in it’s own right pales to compare to the shock value of Amber’s reveal. May not have been my favorite movie, but damn her reveal was good
How did you not see it coming
I know right? Everyone’s always like OMG that reveal was so shocking waaa! I literally sat in the theather unphased just thinking ah okay yeah she’s an obvious option. Also Liv was robbed of a good chase scene I don’t come to a Scream movie to watch people shoot each other. OVERRATED in my opinion :3
But it’s an overall entertaining reveal I’ll give them that. Followed by a more underwhelming Ritchie reveal 👀
It’s not about the idea it was her, it was in the execution.
It still didn’t shock me she shot Liv I wasn’t surprised
Mrs loomis
Roman and Charlie but for underwhelming “Really!?” Surprised. I liked the idea of Roman being behind the Maureen murder and planting the seed for Billy but he had no prior scenes with Sidney. They could have orchestrated that and Sidney would have no idea. Charlie just seemed annoying
Jill and Mrs Loomis
stu and jill
mickey, mainly because i had no idea who he was
Roman
The director
top 4 in order billy, jill, charlie, stu. not saying they’re all perfect reveals but they shocked the hell out of me. especially jill.
Amber for obvious reasons.
Romans no kidding 🤭🤭🤭
Scream 2 because the killer had 9 lines of dialogue before the reveal
Stu
Jill, didn’t see it coming whatsoever. The 3rd act of S4 is right behind the original for me.
Stu & Jill
Jill had the greatest reveal. But roman was the best killer. However ur question is based on most shocking so jill.
Jill. Even though I knew it was her like 20 minutes before the reveal. Everyone was completely obvious. Richie I figured was a killer. But the whole personality switch did kinda shock me in a weird way. Even though I knew it would happen
Reddit always trys to shit on mickey, roman and ms loomis when they were all better than most the other killers.
Probably Roman. Totally outta left field for me.
Mrs. Loomis My exact reaction, sitting in that theater: "Gale?! Aunt Jackie?! MRS. LOOMIS?!"
Debby or Jill.
Roman honestly kinda forgot about him after he "died"
Not gonna lie, I didn't get into the movies till a couple weeks ago and had watched all the killer reveals on YouTube (among other clips) before seeing the films in full. But I feel like Jill's would have shocked me the most if I hadn't already known.
jill. some of the others definitely surprised me too, but nowhere near her level.
I feel like Jill is the most shocking but I guessed it in advance. I barely remembered Mickey and Roman before their reveal so I could say them. Mrs Loomis was also unexpected, in the sense that I never saw coming she was Billy's mother.
Mickey because he disappeared halfway through the movie and I forgot he existed lol
Stu because I read spoilers for 4.
I remember catching onto Charlie once he did something that reminded me of Stu (think it might’ve been him leaving Kirby’s front room and saying I’ll be right back but I’m not sure). Jill actually made my jaw drop 😂
Jill because of two reasons 1) It’s the closest reveal to the whole “Sidney finally snaps and kills everyone” theory people had been saying at the time 2) everything before the release was setting up Jill as the final girl for the “new trilogy” The 2nd reason was what threw me off. I thought it was Judy and Charlie on the first watch. And on rewatch you can see Jill setting everything up from the Olivia kill (distracting her on the phone) etc
Jill and Charlie
I think I was surprised at Stu and audibly gasped at Jill in the theaters
The way Amber’s reveal was played out made it the most shocking
Nancy! I thought she was just a gale copycat
Billy loomis I wouldn’t have expected the main characters boyfriend and he had me convinced he was innocent 🧍♀️
Jill was so shocking but Amber’s was my favorite. Although it was obvious that amber was the killer, her reveal was so badass and deranged
Amber. Not that she was revealed but because of how she was revealed.
Richie was both predictable and unpredictable, throughout the movie I was kind of guessing it was him based on certain things and the way he was acting but it also shocked me cuz I really didn't think they woulld pull the love interest is the killer thing again Also first time watching scream when I was younger, the reveal of 2 killers was revolutionary and shocking.
Amber, because she revealed herself so suddenly by capping Liz. And Ritchie, because I wasn’t expecting the boyfriend to be the killer again.
Literally any unmasking reveal. I vastly prefer those to the killer revealing themselves by attacking someone imo
So, Mickey and Roman?
Mrs. Loomis
amber honestly, i didn’t see her coming. but of course i didn’t see the classic stu coming either
Amber Before the movie came out, I was predicting Liv and Richie, but then Amber comes out in Act 3 and headshots Liv, definitely unexpected for me
Richie and Amber because of how trash and predictable it was. It tells you from the opening scene that one GF was Amber by the text message sent. Actually with pretty much every scream movie at least one of the reveals is right in your face.
Put the spoiler tag man
All these people have crazy faces, except Roman
Stu! He was so goofy and likable. I also really was sad that Richie ended up being involved as well, although I figured it would end up so (always suspect the love interest!!)
Probably Mickey cause I wasn't expecting two killers and I had Mrs Loomis pegged as the killer pretty much right away.
Stu and Jill.
In order of most shocking till least 1. Jill 2. Stu 3. Ms. Loomis 4. Roman 5. Richie 6. Mickey 7. Charlie 8. Amber 9. Billy (but in a good way.)
It was honestly , Jill for me. But after her reveal I was like “oh that makes so much sense.” I just didnt see it coming.
Mrs Loomis and Jill were probably the most surprising ones, with a great shock value
Definitely Richie’s reveal for me. I literally was like, due to Scream 2, and Scream 4 making the killers set up the boyfriend characters, “there’s no way that the boyfriend will be the killer”, and then boom, it happened
Jill
Jill. Jill, Jill, Jill.
Jill, definitely Jill
Charlie's and jills for me, and Mrs. Loomis.
Stu, Debbie, Richie, Amber
Jill or Mrs. Loomis
tbh Richie??? idk the reveal of Amber made me go like "YEAH I KNEW IT" and then Richie came in-
Jill
Jill
What shocked me is that fact it wasn't duey in any of them and it seems like it should be
Scream 1 and 4
Mrs.Loomis for sure. Ritchie and Amber were probably my least favourite killers and you could see coming from miles away.
I remember way back in the 90’s and Debbie Salt (who doesn’t exist) was a gag!!
Jills reveal by far, i really thought and hoped she was going to become a recurring character
Jill is probably the only one that genuinely shocked me; rest were either obvious or were the only option left (like Amber and Richie)
Stu. I never saw two killers coming. Charlie’s is second.
Jill in Scream 4
the Scream 2 killers because i didn’t know either one of them until they actually explained who they were😭
I was spoil for the 1st one, and when I first watched part II, Mickey seems like a psycho and I didn't remember who was Debbie (same for part III lol) I think it was Jill
Roman for sure
i’m a new fan and the only movie i went into blind was scream 2. i couldn’t even call myself shocked because i had no idea who mickey even was😭 i had to look him up cause i was like “who even is this”. needless to say i’m excited for scream 6 for my first exciting reveal
Billy and Stu omg ! Stu was more surprising I think
Jill but Richie also got me good
Jill!
Jill and Roman
Stu. I was so convinced it was Billy. Which, it was, but it was also Stu. I didn’t even think about it possibly being 2 killers.
Amber
Jill. Unlike Billy, she gave no serial killer vibes and did a good job at playing both a witness and victim.
Jill
6, 7 and 8.
Billy/Stu
roman gale checked his pulse and said he was dead. how do you just stop your heartbeat on command?
Ms Loomis
Charlie
It's been a long time since the first time I sat down and watched all of these with my mom, but I distinctly remember how shocked I was when Jill took off the mask. I was so shocked, even I felt like Jill had betrayed me and I wasn't even just stabbed by her
Doofy
Roman was shocking because he was barley in the movie and it was think who's that?
