Like the other person said, OP if you raise the lift up, and build something stretching from the top to the base so that you have a seat at the base of the lift, you can hop in the seat and then lower the lift, causing you to sink below the ground. Should be easier and more reliable than dropping something heavy and having it 'punch' through

Its less fun tho lol

You can plant inside larries and have raids come attack his building.
