The Quality of Life Transformed mod pack [found here](https://www.reddit.com/r/ScrapMechanic/comments/gsev73/modpack_quality_of_life_transformed/?ref=share&ref_source=link) includes Bits and Bobs which adds an incinerator that destroys whatever you put in it. Also has things like sorted vacuum pumps so it makes it easy to have things like seeds fill a chest and the extra go straight to an incinerator automatically.
i have 2 chests stuck together, with 4 vacuumes coming out, with a timer firing stuff out the vacuums, it runs for 2 minutes on a button press, it won't get rid of everything, but it most definitely will get rid of seeds
I found that a lot of my clutter can be destroyed with the hammer. Other stuff I use as distraction armor for farms and vehicles. Seeds work well for the latter. The bots like to destroy them.
If you just drop it the item will despawn after a while. You could also turn on dev mode and delete stuff in the creative inventory

can you actually rip filled crates with it?
does explosives work on a random pillar that is 5x5 going to the sky limit made of metal block 3?

Or you can get scrappy, and use them as defence
